The Bengals are likely to miss the postseason, but hasn't been for lack of Burrow's effort as one of the best QBs in football in 2024. Even though he had only 181 yards and two TDs in the first meeting against Cleveland on Oct. 20, Burrow should be a top-five fantasy QB in Week 16.

The 28-year-old former first overall pick had a mixed bag in the victory, going 26-for-37 for 271 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. He also lost a fumble, but the Bengals defense forced six turnovers to help the team overcome a sloppy performance. Burrow fell just shy of his fifth straight game with at least 300 yards passing. Burrow leads the league in both yardage (3,977) and passing touchdowns (36). Despite throwing for only 181 yards in Week 7 against the Browns, he'll be a must-start QB1 against them in the rematch in Week 16.

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (groin) missed a second straight day of practice this week on Friday. Interim head coach Darren Rizzi said on Thursday that Kamara is unlikely to play on Monday night against the Green Bay Packers in Week 16, and with the Saints barely clinging to faint playoff hopes, there's a chance we don't see Kamara again this season over the final three weeks. Fantasy managers still battling for a championship will unfortunately be without the 29-year-old back this weekend. Second-year RB Kendre Miller has had a tough time staying healthy in his year plus in the NFL, but he's healthy now and should serve as New Orleans' primary backfield option at Lambeau Field on Monday night, giving him at least RB3/flex value in fantasy lineups this week. Veteran Jamaal Williams will serve as his backup.

Alvin Kamara Could Be Done For The Season

The New Orleans Saints are still evaluating injured running back Alvin Kamara (groin), but sources are saying it's a possible season-ending injury with only three games left to play with little chance at advancing to the postseason. The Saints are already saying that it's unlikely Kamara will play on Monday night against the Green Bay Packers after he injured his groin in last week's one-point loss to the Washington Commanders. More proof that the 29-year-old could be done for the year is the fact that the Saints signed Clyde Edwards-Helaire for more depth earlier this week. If you haven't already done so, Kamara's fantasy managers need to immediately add Kendre Miller if he's available. Although the Saints are down to rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler as well, the volume Miller sees alone as New Orleans' top back the rest of the way should at least put him in the flex conversation in fantasy leagues.

NewOrleans.Football's Nick Underhill thinks there's a good chance New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (groin) doesn't play on Monday night against the Green Bay Packers in Week 16. Kamara suffered an adductor injury in the Week 15 loss to the Washington Commanders, and all signs are pointing to him being held out this week. The Saints just signed Clyde Edwards-Helaire as RB depth earlier this week. Kamara has gone for tests on his injured groin, but interim head coach Darren Rizzi has declined to say if it's a minor or major injury. Underhill says himself to run out and grab Kendre Miller off the waiver wire if he's available in your league if you have Kamara rostered. We'll have a better idea of Kamara's status after the Saints begin practicing this week, but there's at least a good chance he'll miss Week 16 and potentially more, depending on how serious his groin injury is.

Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson logged at least 20 carries for the fourth time in the last five contests last week and will be expected to carry the load again this week with rookie QB Michael Penix Jr. under center for the Falcons. With eight rushing TDs on the season and a receiving TD to boot, the 22-year-old is a top-five back for fantasy through 15 weeks, and in Week 16 he'll face a generous rush defense in the New York Giants. The Giants have yielded 14 scores on the ground, the second-most rush yards on the season, and the second-highest yards per carry, resulting in the fourth-most fantasy points scored by opposing running backs. While Robinson has seen a drop off in receptions over the last two weeks, his rookie QB will likely use him as a security blanket and the former first-rounder should get back on track in that regard. Deploy Robinson as a top-tier RB1 on Sunday in Atlanta.

Bijan Robinson Carries The Load, Gains Over 100 Yards In Win On Monday

Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson carried the offensive load in Monday's 15-9 win over the Raiders, racking up 125 yards on 22 rush attempts and he caught one pass for 10 yards. The 22-year-old's rushing total was more than Kirk Cousins' passing yards total of 112 yards. Unfortunately, the second-year back wasn't afforded the opportunity to punch one in for a score as the Falcons never really got down close to the end zone in this one. It was the fourth time in the last five games that the former first-round draft pick recorded 20 carries or more, however, he's seen less work in the passing attack the last two weeks, catching just three passes during that time after logging at least three receptions in nine straight games before that. Regardless, Robinson will once again be a high-end RB1 in next Sunday's home matchup against the Giants who are bottom-third in terms of fantasy points allowed to running backs.

Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson has gone over 100 total yards rushing and receiving in seven of the last eight games and nine of 13 overall. Heavy involvement in both the running and the passing attack, along with finding the end zone on nine occasions, has propelled the 22-year-old to top-five fantasy running back status on the season. The passing work in particular has provided a solid weekly fantasy floor for the second-year pro. He's hauled in the third-most receptions (53) out of all running backs in football to this point, with at least three receptions in 11 of 13 games. The former first-round draft pick will take on the Raiders on Monday night in Vegas, a defense that has been middle of the pack against the run this season and also over the last few weeks. Quarterback Kirk Cousins hasn't thrown a TD pass in four consecutive weeks, so should the Falcons get down close, they may again try to punch it in via the rush. Regardless, Robinson projects as a high-floor, high-end RB1 in Week 15 in a game that has the Falcons as 4.5-point favorites.

Sam Darnold Remains A QB1 Despite Tough Matchup

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold will get a rough matchup this Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks on the road. The 27-year-old had his fourth outing of the season with fewer than 16 fantasy points last weekend in a win over the Chicago Bears and has another stiff test on tap in Week 16. The Seahawks are vulnerable on the ground but have allowed the twelfth-fewest passing yards per game to opponents (213.6). Darnold was solid, though it likely wasn't the performance fantasy managers who rolled with him were looking for. The 27-year-old's interception came on an early fourth-down heave where he had pressure in his face and was trying to make something out of nothing. Other than that, he played a pretty clean game. It was just his third appearance all season with one or fewer touchdowns, but his ninth in a row with at least 230 passing yards. He and the Vikings will take on the Seattle Seahawks next Sunday during the fantasy semi-finals.

Given how well quarterback Sam Darnold has played in 2024, the Minnesota Vikings have not ruled out offering him a contract for next season despite widespread belief that they will let Darnold walk and hand the job to J.J. McCarthy (knee), who was drafted in the first round in April, according to sources familiar with the team's thinking. Darnold is in the midst of a career season and has thrown for 1,158 yards, 11 touchdowns and no interceptions in the last four games. In that span, he's led three game-winning drives and has led the NFL in completions on passes of at least 15 air yards. Darnold is on pace for a 4,100-yard, 35-touchdown season. "There's no other place I'd rather play. Just so grateful to be a Viking," Darnold said earlier this month.
