Drake London: Getting fifth-year option
Wednesday, April 30, 2025 10:46 AM
The Falcons are exercising their fifth-year option on London's rookie contract, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The eighth overall pick from the 2022 Draft is now under contract through 2026, although it may not be long before he signs an extension that locks him in beyond that. London had career highs in every major counting stat last year, including 41 more targets (158) and 366 more yards (1,271) than his previous personal bests. He had just three 100-yard performances, but two of those came in the final two games after Michael Penix took over as Atlanta's starting QB. There should be plenty of volume for London again in 2025, after the Falcons focused on their defense this offseason and failed to acquire any significant competition for targets or carries.

Ben DiNucci: Cut by New Orleans
Tuesday, April 29, 2025 8:22 PM
DiNucci was waived by the Saints on Tuesday, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.
DiNucci signed a reserve/future contract with the Saints in January, but with the team selecting Tyler Shough in the second round of last week's 2025 NFL Draft, DiNucci is the odd man out. The quarterback last appeared in an NFL contest in 2020 with the Cowboys and he'll likely have to settle for a practice squad spot to open the 2025 season.

Tuesday, April 29, 2025 8:13 PM
The Lions waived Green (concussion) with a failed physical designation Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Marquez Callaway: Let go by Tampa Bay
Tuesday, April 29, 2025 8:06 PM
The Buccaneers released Callaway on Tuesday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
Callaway signed a reserve/future contract with Tampa Bay in January, but the team no longer had a need for him after drafting Emeka Egbuka in the first round and Tez Johnson in the seventh round. Callaway played only four offensive snaps in two games with the Buccaneers during the 2024 campaign and will now look to catch on with another team.

Jaren Hall: Let go by Seattle
Tuesday, April 29, 2025 7:56 PM
Hall was cut by the Seahawks on Tuesday, John Boyle of the team's official website reports.
Hall spent the entirety of the 2024 campaign with Seattle, the majority of which was spent on the practice squad. The quarterback was elevated multiple times and ultimately signed to the active roster late last season, but he did not appear in a game. Hall appeared in three contests, including a start, with the Vikings in 2023, completing 13 of 20 passes for 168 yards, while adding 14 rushing yards on six carries, but he did lose two fumbles and throw an interception as well. Hall will look for a fresh start ahead of the 2025 season.
