Derius Davis: Mostly serves as returner in 2025
Tuesday, January 13, 2026 10:57 PM

Davis caught two passes (on three targets) for 10 yards, logged 484 yards on 18 kick returns and 77 yards on 11 punt returns over 11 regular-season games for the Chargers in 2025.

Davis finished the 2025 campaign by turning four kickoff returns into 100 yards during the Chargers' AFC wild-card round loss to the Patriots on Sunday. The third-year pro was limited to a return role in 2025 while buried on the wide receiver depth chart behind the likes of Ladd McConkey, Keenan Allen, Quentin Johnston and rookie second-rounder Tre' Harris. Davis is under contract with the Chargers in 2026 and will likely serve as the team's returner unless an expanded role on offense emerges over the offseason.

Hassan Haskins: Sees midseason touches
Tuesday, January 13, 2026 10:47 PM

Haskins logged 17 carries for 47 yards and caught all four of his targets for 13 yards across 12 regular-season games for the Chargers in 2025.

Haskins started the regular season as a special-teams contributor while buried on the depth chart behind Omarion Hampton (ankle) and Najee Harris (Achilles). Haskins did see some more opportunities on offense due to injuries to the Chargers' backfield, though he never saw more than seven touches in a game. The 2022 third-rounder will have the freedom to explore his options in the offseason as an unrestricted free agent.

Thomas Yassmin: Inked to Bolts' 90-man roster
Tuesday, January 13, 2026 10:12 PM

The Chargers signed Yassmin to a reserve/future contract Tuesday.

Yassmin spent the entire 2025 season on the Chargers' practice squad after initially being cut from the roster at the end of training camp. He has yet to appear in a regular-season game since entering the league in May of 2024 as an undrafted free agent. Yassmin will be a member of the Chargers' 90-man roster once the offseason begins, which will allow him to participate in OTAs and minicamp and make a positive impression with the coaching staff before training camp commences in July.

DJ Uiagalelei: Set to spend offseason with Bolts
Tuesday, January 13, 2026 10:08 PM

Uiagalelei signed a reserve/future contract with the Chargers on Tuesday.

Uiagalelei spent the entire 2025 season on the Chargers' practice squad after failing to make the active roster at the end of training camp. He was elevated for the Chargers' Week 18 clash against the Broncos and served as Trey Lance's backup, though the former did not see the field. Uiagalelei will be a part of the Chargers' 90-man roster in the offseason, allowing him to participate in OTAs and minicamp.

Tanner McLachlan: Sticking around with Chargers
Tuesday, January 13, 2026 10:03 PM

The Chargers signed McLachlan to a reserve/future contract Tuesday.

McLachlan was cut from the Chargers' practice squad Jan. 6 but will be on the team's 90-man roster when the NFL offseason officially begins Feb. 9. That gives the 2024 sixth-rounder the opportunity to impress coaching staff during OTAs and minicamp and gain momentum heading into training camp.

Amar Johnson: Inks futures deal with Bolts
Tuesday, January 13, 2026 9:57 PM

The Chargers signed Johnson to a reserve/future contract Tuesday.

Johnson caught on with the Chargers' practice squad in late August after failing to make the Packers' 53-man roster at the end of training camp. He was elevated to the Chargers' active roster in Weeks 9 and 11 and logged two carries for eight yards while failing to haul in his lone target. The South Dakota State product will be a member of the Chargers' 90-man roster at the start of the NFL offseason Feb. 9, which will allow him to participate in OTAs and minicamp.

JaQuae Jackson: Signs futures deal with Chargers
Tuesday, January 13, 2026 9:54 PM

The Chargers signed Jackson to a reserve/futures contract Tuesday.

Jackson will be a member of the Chargers' 90-man roster once the NFL offseason officially begins Feb. 9, which gives him the opportunity to participate in OTAs and minicamp. He was a member of the Chargers' practice squad for the entire 2025 season after he was unable to crack the 53-man roster at the end of training camp. Jackson has yet to appear in a regular-season game since entering the league in April of 2024 as an undrafted free agent.

Luke Grimm: Signs futures deal with Bolts
Tuesday, January 13, 2026 9:23 PM

The Chargers signed Grimm to a reserve/future contract Tuesday.

Grimm signed with the Chargers in late April as an undrafted free agent and spent the majority of the season on the practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp. He'll be part of the Chargers' 90-man roster once the offseason begins Feb. 9, which will allow him to participate in OTAs and minicamp and make a good impression on the coaching staff before the start of training camp in July.

Dalevon Campbell: Sticking around with Bolts
Tuesday, January 13, 2026 9:19 PM

The Chargers signed Campbell to a reserve/future contract Tuesday.

Campbell was part of the Panthers' active roster for the start of the regular season after he was waived by the Chargers at the end of training camp. He appeared in two regular-season games for Carolina before being let go in mid-October with an injury designation due to a hamstring issue. He got another opportunity with the Chargers on the practice squad, and while he didn't get a chance to suit up during the regular season or playoffs, he'll be a part of the Bolts' 90-man roster once the NFL offseason officially begins Feb. 9. That gives Campbell the opportunity to participate in offseason activities with the Chargers before training camp commences in July.

Curtis Samuel: Logs full practice Tuesday
Tuesday, January 13, 2026 7:17 PM

Samuel (elbow) was a full participant during Tuesday's walkthrough practice.

Samuel has been sidelined for the Bills' last eight games (including Sunday's wild-card win against the Jaguars) due to an elbow injury. His full participation in his return to practice Tuesday is an encouraging sign and puts Samuel on track to being activated from injured reserve ahead of Saturday's AFC divisional-round game against the Broncos. The return would be timely, given that both Tyrell Shaves and Gabe Davis tore their ACLs against Jacksonville.
