The Seahawks waived Briscoe with a failure to disclose physical condition designation Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

The Seahawks signed Briscoe as an undrafted free agent May 1. It's unclear what he's dealing with, but he'll hit waivers, nonetheless. The Cal Poly product spent seasons in college and finished with 43 receptions for 779 yards and seven touchdowns in his final campaign.

The Packers waived Lachey (undisclosed) after a failed physical Thursday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Lachey spent the 2025 season on the Texans' practice squad. The Texans waived him Monday, and after the Packers claimed him off waivers, he'll go back to the waiver wire due to a failed physical. Lachey (6-foot-6, 247 pounds) never surpassed 28 receptions or 400 receiving yards through his four years at college.

The Jets waived Ferrin on Thursday, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.

An undrafted free agent out of BYU, Ferrin entered a seemingly open competition against Cade York and Lenny Krieg for the starting kicker position with the Jets. Ferrin participated in rookie minicamp but won't be with the team moving forward. In his final season at BYU, Ferrin hit 23 of 30 field-goal attempts (76.7 percent), including four of six tries from beyond 50 yards.

Cook is set to compete with rookie fourth-round pick Cade Klubnik for the second spot on the Jets' quarterback depth chart behind Geno Smith, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.

Cook got to audition as the Jets' starting quarterback down the stretch in 2025, but the undrafted rookie out of Missouri struggled to a 2:7 TD:INT across five appearances (four starts). The Jets traded for Smith and have already proclaimed the veteran to be their starting quarterback. They also drafted Klubnik out of Clemson, who has thrown the ball well in drills and impressed with his leadership skills. The team could still opt to bring in a veteran backup QB, but as things stand, Cook should get a chance during training camp and the preseason to compete for the top backup role against Klubnik and Bailey Zappe.

Davis is set to reclaim a backup role behind Breece Hall in 2026, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.

Davis and Braelon Allen have had time to recover from the respective concussion and knee injury that sidelined them to close out the 2025 campaign. The pair of 2024 Day 3 draft picks remain the top backups on the roster behind recently extended starter Breece Hall. Davis has averaged an impressive 5.6 yards per carry on 73 rushing attempts over his first two NFL seasons.

Allen is set to reclaim a backup role behind Breece Hall in 2026, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.

The Jets appear content to bring back the same running back room they had last season, with Hall leading the way while Allen and Isaiah Davis fill backup roles. Allen has had time recover from an MCL injury suffered last October, which carried a return timetable of 8-to-12 weeks at that point. While the 2024 fourth-round draft pick out of Wisconsin has impressed in practice, Allen will likely continue to cede the majority of backfield opportunities to Hall, who agreed to a three-year, $45.75 million extension with the Jets earlier in the offseason.

The Dolphins signed Achane to a four-year, $68 million contract extension Wednesday, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.

Achane was headed into the final year of his rookie deal, and new GM Jon-Eric Sullivan and coach Jeff Hafley had been adamant that the talented running back is a building block of the future in Miami, even after the Dolphins shed salary this offseason. Achane's new deal will pay him $17 million per year in new money, making him the league's third-highest-paid running back behind Saquon Barkley and Christian McCaffrey. Achane started all 16 regular-season games in which he appeared last season, totaling a career-high 1,350 rushing yards and eight touchdown on 238 carries, averaging a league-high 5.8 yards per carry. He added 67 catches for 488 yards and four additional touchdowns on 85 targets in the passing game. Achane is still just 24 years old and figures to be a top-12 fantasy pick this season.

The Jets have agreed to terms with Patrick, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

In 16 regular-season games with the Jaguars in 2025, the 32-year-old caught 15 of his 24 targets for 187 yards and three touchdowns. With the Jets, Patrick will add veteran presence to his new team's wide receiver room while bringing inside-outside flexibility to the table. As things stand, Patrick figures to compete for rotational WR snaps behind Garrett Wilson, Adonai Mitchell and Omar Cooper.

Green Bay claimed Rice off waivers on Wednesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Rice was waived by the Raiders on Monday and now gets a fresh start in the Packers' wide receiver corps, which saw Romeo Doubs (signed by New England) and Dontayvion Wicks (dealt to Philadelphia) depart this offseason. A 2024 seventh-round pick, Rice was initially selected by the Chargers, with whom he combined for 10 offensive snaps across three regular-season games as a rookie. He was cut by Los Angeles in 2025 and then spent time on the practice squads of the Patriots, Seahawks and Raiders.

Nabers had a procedure on his knee "multiple weeks ago" to remove scar tissue, but the Giants don't anticipate any change to the wideout's recovery timeline, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Nabers initially had surgery Oct. 28 to address ACL and meniscus tears in his right knee. He then dealt with stiffness in the knee this spring and had the clean-up procedure at some point in April. The Giants reportedly still hope Nabers will be ready for Week 1, but it's not looking especially good for his full participation at the start of training camp. He'll likely remain limited to meetings and rehab work during the offseason program, ceding first-team WR reps to the likes of Darius Slayton, Darnell Mooney, Calvin Austin and Malachi Fields.
