Waddle aggravated a previous chest injury during last week's 30-16 win over the Cardinals, and his status for Sunday's game against the Chiefs will be determined based on how he fares in practice this week, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Waddle recorded four receptions for 48 yards on seven targets against Arizona before checking out of the game in the fourth quarter due to the lingering chest issue, which had limited his participation in two practices during Week 7 prep. The wideout's practice activity appears likely to be affected in Week 8, but the Broncos aren't yet counting him out from suiting up against the Chiefs.

Tucker agreed Wednesday to sign with Kansas City's practice squad, Sam McDowell of The Kansas City Star reports.

Though Harrison Butker is expected to retain the Chiefs' kicking job heading into Sunday's game in Denver, he's lost some job security after missing six kicks (five field goals, one extra point) through the team's first six games. Kansas City worked out three kickers this week and ultimately settled on bringing aboard Tucker as an insurance option on the practice squad. A seven-time Pro Bowl selection, the 36-year-old Tucker hasn't seen NFL action since the 2024 season, when he connected on just 73.3 percent of his field-goal attempts as a member of the Ravens.

The Eagles waived Steele (shoulder) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Steele was waived/injured last week due to a shoulder injury and ultimately ended up on IR. That could have ended his season, but by reaching an injury settlement, the UCLA product will now be able to seek work with another team once he's healthy. Steele played primarily on special teams during his two games with the Eagles this season, though he did log three offensive snaps and caught one of two targets for four yards.

The Seahawks cut Deguara from the practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Deguara joined the Seahawks' practice squad Oct. 19 after being let go by the Eagles one week prior. He'll now hit the open market again, and the 2020 third-rounder will look to join a team in need of depth at the tight end position.

Seattle worked out Sims (undisclosed) on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Sims was waived by the Dolphins with an injury settlement following their regular-season opener, and he now seems to be back in game shape after Week 7. With 2025 second-rounder Elijah Arroyo (shoulder) likely out for the rest of the season, it makes some sense that the Seahawks are now exploring depth options at tight end.

The Cowboys waived Rogers (knee) from injured reserve Tuesday.

Rogers reverted to injured reserve in late August and was set to miss the entire 2026 season as a result. However, now that he's been waived from IR, Rogers will have the opportunity to sign with a team once he's fully recovered from an MCL sprain in his knee that he suffered in training camp. The rookie out of TCU signed with the Cowboys in late April after not being selected by a team during the 2026 NFL Draft.

The Cowboys waived Demercado on Tuesday.

It's the second time this season that Demercado has been let go by the Cowboys. He had the chance to establish himself as the team's RB2 after Malik Davis suffered a season-ending hip injury in mid-September, but the backup role was ultimately grabbed from Demercado by Tyler Goodson. Demercado will explore his next options but should garner interest from teams in need of backfield depth.

Arizona cut Geers (undisclosed) from its injured reserve list Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Geers went to the Cardinals' injured reserve list with an undisclosed injury during the preseason, and he'll now go back to free agency unless he's claimed off waivers by another team. The undrafted rookie is still seeking an opportunity to play his first regular-season snaps as a pro.

Pancol signed with Denver's practice squad Tuesday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.

Pancol was cut from Indianapolis' practice squad last week, but it didn't take long to find a new squad. The Duke product has yet to log any NFL regular-season action since originally signing as an undrafted free agent with Jacksonville in April of 2025. Pancol will provide tight-end depth for the Broncos, though he's unlikely to be elevated in the near future given that Denver currently has four healthy tight ends on its roster.

The Ravens cut Ward from the practice squad Tuesday, Clifton Brown of the team's official site reports.

Ward joined the Ravens' practice squad in early September after failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp. He wasn't elevated to the active roster for a regular-season game, and he'll now have the opportunity to explore his next options as a free agent.
