Brock Wright: Idle for another practice
Tuesday, December 2, 2025 5:14 PM
Wright (neck) didn't practice Tuesday.
Detroit has listed Wright as a non-participant on both of its first two Week 14 practice reports, a development that comes as little surprise after head coach Dan Campbell said Sunday that the tight end was dealing with an injury to his trachea that could result in a long-term absence, per Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. For now, the Lions are evaluating Wright's status on a game-by-game basis, and at this point, he seems likely to miss Thursday's game against the Cowboys.

George Pickens: Puts in full practice
Tuesday, December 2, 2025 5:02 PM
Pickens (calf/knee) was a full participant in Tuesday's practice, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Dallas listed Pickens as a non-participant and a limited participant on two of their practice reports last week while he dealt with the same two injuries, but he proceeded to play 53 snaps in the Cowboys' Thanksgiving Day win over the Chiefs and finished with six catches for 88 yards on a season-high 13 targets. Now that he's already achieved a full listing on Dallas' second practice report of Week 14, Pickens is seemingly in a better spot on the health front heading into Thursday's game against the Lions. On the heels of another big game, Pickens looks like a must-start option versus a leaky Detroit defense that lost one of its starting cornerbacks in Terrion Arnold (shoulder) to a season-ending injury in Week 13.

Blake Grupe: Finds work in Indy
Tuesday, December 2, 2025 4:47 PM
The Colts signed Grupe to their practice squad Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
After Michael Badgley missed his third point-after attempt in just seven games in this past Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Texans, the Colts worked out three kickers Tuesday. Grupe emerged from the tryout with a spot on the practice squad, and he should be on track to be elevated or signed to the Colts' 53-man roster in advance of Sunday's game in Jacksonville after Indianapolis officially waived Badgley on Tuesday. Indianapolis will mark the second stop of Grupe's professional career after he had served as the Saints' kicker since the start of the 2023 season before being cut loose last week. Grupe had missed eight field-goal tries in 26 attempts for New Orleans this season, but he's converted at a more palatable 79.8 percent clip for his career.

Robbie Chosen: Re-signs with Washington
Tuesday, December 2, 2025 4:46 PM
The Commanders signed Chosen to the practice squad Tuesday.
After being signed to the active roster Nov. 11, Chosen was waived Nov. 28 likely due to the renewed availability of starting wide receivers Terry McLaurin and Treylon Burks. The wide receiver was re-signed to the practice squad as a depth option. The veteran has one practice squad elevation remaining for the Commanders this year, a move the team might enact this week if Noah Brown (groin/knee) is not yet ready to return from IR.

Luke Grimm: Released from practice squad
Tuesday, December 2, 2025 4:38 PM
The Chargers released Grimm from the practice squad Tuesday.
Grimm was re-signed to the practice squad Nov. 12 due to the injuries to starting wide receivers Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston. With the Chargers' wide receiver room in good health, the need for Grimm appears to have diminished. The wide receiver's release was coordinated with the release of tackle David Sharpe to make room for center Josh Kaltenberger and tackle Foster Sarell on the practice squad.

Adam Thielen: Scooped up by Pittsburgh
Tuesday, December 2, 2025 4:31 PM
The Steelers claimed Thielen off waivers from the Vikings on Tuesday, Teresa Varley of Pittsburgh's official site reports.
The oldest active receiver in the NFL, the 35-year-old Thielen didn't appear to have much juice left during his second stint in Minnesota earlier this season. He managed just eight receptions for 69 yards on 18 targets in 11 appearances before the Vikings made him a healthy inactive for this past Sunday's loss to Seattle. After requesting and being granted his release, Thielen has caught on with a Steelers team lacking in quality receiver depth beyond No. 1 option DK Metcalf, so he could have an immediate opportunity to push the likes of Calvin Austin, Roman Wilson and Ben Skowronek for reps. Though he'll benefit from an upgrade in quarterback play in Pittsburgh with Aaron Rodgers under center, Thielen is still unlikely to see enough of a jump in his production in his new locale to warrant much fantasy interest.

Desmond Ridder: Released by Minnesota
Tuesday, December 2, 2025 4:31 PM
The Vikings released Ridder from the practice squad Tuesday.
Ridder signed with the Vikings last Thursday due to the injuries to starter J.J. McCarthy (concussion) and backup Carson Wentz (shoulder). With McCarthy likely to clear the league's concussion protocol this week, the Vikings seem to have lost the need for Ridder's depth. If J.J. McCarthy is indeed cleared to play, Max Brosmer will once again be the only healthy backup quarterback on the roster.

Kristian Wilkerson: Re-signed to practice squad
Tuesday, December 2, 2025 4:07 PM
The Titans signed Wilkerson to the practice squad Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
The wide receiver was cut from the practice squad Nov. 25, and just as quickly finds himself back on the team after linebacker Nate Lynn was waived. Wilkerson, formerly on the Bills' practice squad, has not yet played in a 2025 regular-season game.

Brenden Rice: Released from practice squad
Tuesday, December 2, 2025 4:03 PM
The Seahawks released Rice from the practice squad Tuesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Rice was signed to the practice squad Nov. 18 after being cut from the Patriots' practice squad Nov. 11. If the wide receiver clears waivers, he will once again find himself a free agent.

Myles Gaskin: Waived by Seattle
Tuesday, December 2, 2025 4:00 PM
The Seahawks waived Gaskin on Tuesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Gaskin was signed to the active roster from the practice squad last Saturday and obtained his first carries of the 2025 campaign, rushing three times for six yards in Sunday's 26-0 win over the Vikings. The running back was signed due to George Holani's (hamstring) presence on injured reserve, and his waiving likely has to do with the Seahawks' signing of Cam Akers. If Gaskin clears waivers, we may find him back on the team's practice squad later this week.
