Sherfield reverted to Buffalo's practice squad Tuesday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Sherfield did not draw any targets in his seven offensive snaps during Monday's 37-34 overtime win against the Rams, but he did record two tackles (one solo) on special teams. Whether he's elevated again in Week 6 might depend on the availability of DJ Moore and Joshua Palmer, who both missed Monday's action due to shoulder injuries.

The Seahawks signed Jones to their practice squad Tuesday.

Jones is set to remain in Seattle despite having been waived from the team's active roster earlier in the day. The 29-year-old had played almost exclusively on special teams across the first four outings of the campaign and will likely be confined to a similar role if activated for another game.

The Chargers worked out Smith-Schuster on Tuesday, Noah Furtado of The Athletic reports.

Smith-Schuster had a tryout with the Vikings on Monday, but they're evidently not the only team interested in potentially making him a mid-season signing. In 17 games with the Chiefs in 2025, he reeled in 33 of 45 targets for 345 yards and a touchdown.

Cameron caught three of six targets for 43 yards during the Jaguars' 19-17 win over the Eagles on Sunday in London. He also returned one kickoff for 18 yards and added a tackle on special teams.

Cameron opened Sunday's game in style, when he took the first kickoff of the contest 90 yards to the house for a touchdown, but that score ended up being nullified by a holding penalty on the Jaguars. The rookie sixth-rounder still managed to contribute offensively and finished third on the Jaguars in catches, targets and receiving yards, including a 32-yard catch early in the third quarter. Cameron's 22 offensive snaps were fourth-most among Jacksonville wide receivers, but his 6-97-1 receiving line (10 targets) over the last three weeks is noticeably better than Brian Thomas (3-25-1 on six targets) in that same span. The Jaguars will stay in London for a Week 6 AFC South showdown against the Texans on Oct. 18.

Dallas signed Demercado to its 53-man roster Tuesday, Tommy Yarrish of the Cowboys' official site reports.

The Cowboys waived Demercado ahead of their Week 5 contest versus the Buccaneers, but he's now back with the club as it prepares for Week 6. As long as starter Javonte Williams and Tyler Goodson remain available, Demercado projects to be used only sparingly, if at all.

Burks caught two passes on five targets for 16 yards during Sunday's 27-27 tie with the Giants.

Burks saw a season-high five targets during Sunday's game, which was second-most on the Commanders behind Chig Okonkwo (six). Burks only logged two catches, but his season was a 13-yard pass late in overtime that set the Commanders up well within field-goal range, only for Jayden Daniels to mismanage the clock to end the game on a tie. Burks has a 5-86-2 receiving line on 10 targets over his last three games, though his scoring floor would take a considerable hit if Stefon Diggs (hamstring) is cleared to play in the Commanders' Week 6 road game against the 49ers on Monday.

Philadelphia is expected to sign Jackson (undisclosed) to its practice squad, Matt Zenitz of CBSSports.com reports.

Per Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, the Eagles worked out Jackson on Tuesday, and it seems like they liked what they saw from the big running back. Philadelphia recently placed Tank Bigsby (abdomen) on its injured reserve list, and starter Saquon Barkley (hamstring) and 2024 fourth-rounder Will Shipley (foot) are also dealing with injuries, so it makes sense that the team might want to add some organizational depth in the backfield.

Williams hauled in all three of his targets for 31 yards and added a two-yard punt return during the Commanders' 27-27 tie with the Giants on Sunday.

Williams didn't see a target from Jayden Daniels until early in the third quarter, when the duo connected on a 17-yard pass on the first of a five-play drive that ended with a 38-yard rushing touchdown by Daniels. Williams finished third on the Commanders in both receptions and receiving yards behind Terry McLaurin and Chig Okonkwo, and the rookie wideout has a 15-155-1 receiving line on 22 targets through five regular-season games. The Commanders have a tough Week 6 road tilt against the undefeated 49ers on Monday Night Football.

New Orleans cut Palmer from its practice squad Tuesday.

Palmer has been on the Saints' practice squad since early September, but he's now in line to become a free agent again. His last regular-season stint came with the Buccaneers in 2024, when he caught 12 of 22 targets for 172 yards and a touchdown over 15 games while also contributing as a returner.

Johnson caught all four of his targets for 72 yards during the Bills' 37-34 overtime win over the Rams on Monday.

Johnson played only 14 of the Bills' 64 offensive snaps (21.9 percent) and didn't log a single carry. However, the veteran running back made his snaps count as a receiver, rumbling for 40 yards on his first catch midway through the second quarter that led to a 17-yard touchdown run by James Cook on the very next play. Johnson added three more catches in the second half -- including a 26-yard grab -- and finished second on the Bills in receiving yards behind Khalil Shakir (80). Johnson will continue to operate as the Bills' change-of-pace back heading into Week 7 against the Raiders.
