Douglas is in the mix to compete for snaps in three-receiver sets behind newcomers A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.

The same applies to Mack Hollins, Kayshon Boutte and Kyle Williams, which gives Douglas a challenging path to steady volume this coming season. The 2023 sixth-round is coming off a 2025 campaign in which he caught a career-low 31 passes (on 46 targets) for 447 yards and three TDs in 17 regular-season contests, and it may take injuries within his team's WR corps in order for Douglas to provide reliable fantasy production in 2026.

Washington released Brooks on Tuesday.

Brooks made his NFL debut with the Commanders as an undrafted rookie in 2025, playing seven offensive snaps in Week 6 versus the Bears. Now, he'll become a free agent again and seek another opportunity with a different club.

The Commanders signed Firkser on Tuesday.

Firkser is now joining his fourth different team in three years with offseason workouts underway in Washington. It seems likely at this point that free agent acquisition Chig Okonkwo, in-line specialist John Bates and 2024 second-rounder Ben Sinnott will make the Commanders' 53-man roster for 2026, so Firkser's path to a roster spot is relatively narrow.

As the coming season approaches, Hollins is line to compete with Kayshon Boutte, DeMario Douglas and Kyle Williams for snaps in three-receiver sets, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.

In his first campaign with the Patriots, Hollins put up a 46/550/2 receiving line (on 65 targets) in 15 regular-season contests. However, with newcomers A.J. Brown and Romeo Doubs now slated to serve as the team's top WRs and command their share of targets in the process, Hollins may find steady volume harder to come by in 2026, with Boutte, Douglas and Williams also in the mix for looks that don't go to the top duo.

The Giants released Sanders on Tuesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Sanders signed with the Giants as a free agent back in March, but he's now back on the free agent market with offseason workouts underway. The competition for the Giants' kicking job is now between Ben Sauls and rookie undrafted free agent Dominic Zvada, and Sanders will have to look for another opportunity elsewhere.

London has agreed to a four-year extension with the Falcons, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, London's new deal is a four-year $141 million pact worth up to $150 million, that includes $100 million guaranteed. The 2022 first-rounder, who is coming off a 2025 campaign during which he recorded a 68-919-7 receiving line across 12 contests, is thus under contract with the Falcons through the 2030 campaign. Looking ahead, the 24 year-old will continue to see plenty of volume in a pass-catching corps that also includes fellow WRs Jahan Dotson, Olamide Zaccheaus and Zachariah Branch, as well as TE Kyle Pitts. However, at this stage it remains to seen who ends up throwing them the ball come Week 1, with Michael Penix and Tua Tagovailoa slated to compete for Atlanta's top QB job.

Bateman (personal) has been away from the team during OTAs the past two weeks, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Bateman was present for the start of the offseason program last month, but he's now tending to a personal matter. "He's dealing with some personal things and so he hasn't been here for a little bit," OC Declan Doyle said Tuesday. "I'm excited for him to get back in here in and keep rolling." Despite a down 2025 season, Bateman is expected to get the first crack at WR2 duties under new OC Doyle.

Lemon did not participate in Tuesday's practice due to a hamstring injury, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports.

The 2026 first-round pick observed practice off to the side with his right leg in a compression sleeve. Following Monday's trade of A.J. Brown to the Patriots, Lemon is expected to operate as the Eagles' WR2 alongside DeVonta Smith this season. The severity of his hamstring injury isn't clear, but it wouldn't be a surprise if Lemon is done for the remainder of OTAs, with the focus being on having him fully healthy for training camp in July.

McMillan (foot) remains sidelined for Tuesday's practice, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.

McMillan's injury isn't believed to be serious, and his absence seems more precautionary than anything else. If the wideout is still sidelined when training camp rolls around in July, however, there will be reason for genuine concern. With McMillan out of action, other options like rookie Chris Brazzell will get more practice reps.

Jacobs is participating in Tuesday's practice, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

It's the first open practice Jacobs has been at since his arrest last week. After being booked into Brown County Jail on five charges last Tuesday related to an alleged domestic situation, Jacobs was released from police custody the following day and is now back with the Packers at OTAs this week. The legal matters aren't over, and the league will conduct its own investigation into the situation, but according to coach Matt LaFleur the team and player are moving forward with "business as usual" for the time being, per Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com.
