Troy Franklin: Cools off on SNF
Monday, December 1, 2025 1:28 AM
Franklin had two receptions on three targets for 21 yards in Sunday's 27-26 overtime win over the Commanders.
Franklin cooled off considerably after seemingly taking over the No. 1 role for the Broncos in recent weeks. Courtland Sutton reclaimed that honor with a clean 5-62-1 receiving line that dwarfed Franklin's production on the national stage. The latter is still producing a strong sophomore campaign with 48 receptions for 530 yards and five touchdowns across 12 contests, but it hasn't been a smooth ride getting there. Franklin has been held under 40 receiving yards in half of his appearances this season, making him a volatile starting option with plenty of upside against the Raiders in Week 14.

Deebo Samuel: Overshadowed in OT loss
Monday, December 1, 2025 1:25 AM
Samuel recorded five receptions on seven targets for 64 yards in Sunday's 27-26 overtime loss to the Broncos.
Samuel was overshadowed by strong showings from both Terry McLaurin and Zach Ertz, but he had a solid performance of his own. He did the majority of his damage in overtime, recording a 38-yard reception down the right sideline that came two yards shy of the end zone. Samuel has at least five targets in each of his last five games, and his usage down the field has started to rebound as he has three receptions of at least 20 yards combined across his last two games.

Evan Engram: Leading receiver on SNF
Monday, December 1, 2025 1:21 AM
Engram brought in six of nine targets for 79 yards in Sunday's 27-26 overtime win over the Commanders.
Engram made his mark in the extra period when he ripped off a 41-yard gain that helped set up the game-winning score from teammate RJ Harvey. The 79 yards represented a new single-game high from the veteran tight end through 11 appearances with Denver in 2025. Had this game ended in regulation, Engram would have finished with a stat line closer to the 3.2 receptions and 26.0 yards he averaged heading into Sunday Night Football. Fantasy managers should not overreact to this standout performance and continue to treat Engram as a deep-league option for next Sunday's tilt against Las Vegas.

Chris Rodriguez: Paces backfield again
Monday, December 1, 2025 1:17 AM
Rodriguez rushed the ball 11 times for 41 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-26 overtime loss to the Broncos. He did not record a catch on one target.
Rodriguez retained his role as the lead back for the Commanders, with his 11 total touches bettering Jeremy McNichols by three. Rodriguez didn't have a particularly efficient showing, though he did find the end zone from eight yards away shortly before halftime to account for his fourth touchdown in his last six matchups. He now has double-digit rushing attempts in three of his last four matchups heading into a Week 14 contest against the Vikings.

Courtland Sutton: Nabs fifth TD grab on SNF
Monday, December 1, 2025 1:06 AM
Sutton finished with five receptions on six targets for 62 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-26 overtime win over Washington.
Sutton put it all together for his best receiving line since Week 4 of the regular season when he finished with five receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown against the Bengals. The 29-year-old had registered just one touchdown grab over his previous seven appearances, so fantasy managers were delighted to see the wideout secure Bo Nix's lone touchdown pass in the primetime win. It was also a positive sign to see the veteran starter usurp Troy Franklin (2-21-0) in production after the inverse had held true in recent weeks. With a 50-711-5 receiving line across 12 starts, Sutton is providing enough value to stick in most starting lineups for a soft matchup against the Raiders next Sunday.

Marcus Mariota: Strong effort in tough matchup
Monday, December 1, 2025 12:58 AM
Mariota completed 28 of 50 passes for 294 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 27-26 overtime loss to the Broncos. He added 10 rushes for 55 yards.
Mariota turned in a valiant effort in the loss, logging a career-high in pass attempts while racking up his most passing yards in a game since Week 3 of the 2019 season. While he wasn't particularly efficient, Mariota delivered several splash plays, highlighted by six completions of at least 15 yards and a rush attempt that went for a gain of 19. This marked Mariota's third straight start in the absence of Jayden Daniels (elbow), and he's done an admirable job by maintaining a 5:1 TD:INT. The return of Terry McLaurin also improves Mariota's outlook in a Week 14 matchup against the Vikings, should Daniels remain sidelined.

RJ Harvey: Bounces back with two scores on SNF
Monday, December 1, 2025 12:53 AM
Harvey ran the ball 13 times for 35 yards and two touchdowns while corralling three of four targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 27-26 overtime win over the Commanders.
Harvey finished as the star of Sunday Night Football after giving Denver its third lead in a back-and-forth contest with his first trip to the end zone in the third quarter, following that up with a second touchdown in overtime that wound up being the game-deciding score. The second-round rookie fared better this time around compared to his last outing starting in place of J.K. Dobbins (foot), where he handled a similar workload but failed to hit pay dirt against the Chiefs on Nov. 16. Harvey has registered double-digit carries in consecutive contests for the first time in his career, a trend that figures to continue while he operates as Denver's No. 1 backfield option. The 24-year-old is shaping up to be a strong fantasy play against the lowly Raiders in Week 14.

Zach Ertz: Turns in vintage performance
Monday, December 1, 2025 12:44 AM
Ertz recorded 10 receptions on 13 targets for 106 yards in Sunday's 27-26 overtime loss to the Broncos.
Ertz has enjoyed increased production with Marcus Mariota under center, and he led the Commanders in both receptions and yards. In contrast to past weeks, he was used both deep down the field and in short areas, logging long receptions of 21 and 18 yards to help him top 100 receiving yards for the first time since Week 9 of the 2019 campaign. Ertz now has at least four receptions in five consecutive games. While he could be in for a downturn in opportunity moving forward due to the return of Terry McLaurin, Ertz was prioritized ahead of Deebo Samuel for targets in Sunday's loss.

Terry McLaurin: Excels in return
Monday, December 1, 2025 12:32 AM
McLaurin recorded seven receptions on 14 targets for 96 yards in Sunday's 27-26 overtime loss to the Broncos.
McLaurin accounted for his normal snap count in a game for the first time since Week 2 and was on the field for the first time since Week 8. Even without Jayden Daniels (elbow) under center, McLaurin showed no signs of rust by leading the team in targets while logging three catches of more than 15 yards to record his highest yardage total in five contests this season. McLaurin also found the end zone in overtime, beating the Denver defense on a short slant over the middle from three yards away. While the Commanders came up short, McLaurin had a successful return and seemed to provide a boost to the entire unit.

Bo Nix: Earns ninth consecutive W on SNF
Monday, December 1, 2025 12:26 AM
Nix completed 29 of 45 pass attempts for 321 yards, one touchdown and one interception while gaining 16 yards on two carries in Sunday's 27-26 overtime win over Washington.
Nix required the extra overtime period in order to put away the now 3-9 Commanders and extend the Broncos' current win streak to nine games. The 45 attempts and 321 passing yards marked the second-highest totals in each respective category for the sophomore signal-caller through 12 starts this year. The Oregon product hasn't taken a step forward from his promising rookie totals in 2024, but he has maintained steady fantasy value with modest passing numbers to go along with 20 combined touchdowns to 10 turnovers. Nix will attempt to clean up the two interceptions he threw against the Raiders back in Week 10 when these two AFC West rivals face off again next Sunday.
