Rico Dowdle: Questionable for Week 7
Friday, October 23, 2026 9:04 AM
Dowdle (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Saints in Paris, Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com reports.
The Steelers did not practice Friday because of poor weather in Paris, but if they had Dowdle would have been limited with the knee injury -- different than the toe issue he was dealing with previously -- for a third straight day. The Steelers will practice Saturday and could provide an update on Dowdle's status after the session concludes, otherwise his status for Week 7 will be revealed when Pittsburgh releases its inactives 90 minutes before Sunday's 9:30 a.m. ET kickoff.

Puka Nacua: Seemingly avoids serious setback
Friday, October 23, 2026 8:48 AM
The calf injury Nacua sustained Thursday is believed to be "more minor than anything else" and "not significant," Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Nacua left Thursday's practice with the calf issue, and tests performed afterward appear to have indicated he did not sustain a serious injury. The report notes that Nacua's availability for Week 7 remains uncertain, but the Rams will presumably provide an official update on both his short- and long-term status at some point Friday.

TreVeyon Henderson: Minimal role in Week 7 loss
Friday, October 23, 2026 12:59 AM
Henderson rushed three times for nine yards and secured both targets for 14 yards in the Patriots' 30-24 loss to the Bears on Thursday.
Henderson's modest numbers underscore how modest a role he filled in the high-scoring loss. Rhamondre Stevenson had just six carries in his own right, but he also recorded a team-high 93 receiving yards on five catches. Henderson's rush attempts and rushing yards were both season lows, and the second-year back will look to bounce back in a Week 8 road matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday, Nov. 1.

Hunter Henry: Busy night in Week 7 loss
Friday, October 23, 2026 12:53 AM
Henry secured all seven targets for 71 yards in the Patriots' 30-24 loss to the Bears on Thursday.
The veteran tight end was a key contributor throughout the night, finishing with team-high figures in receptions and targets while ending second in receiving yards. All three components of Henry's receiving line also were season-high figures, and he now has between 44 and 71 receiving yards in four consecutive games. Henry will take a 26-296-2 line on 31 targets into a Week 8 road matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday, Nov. 1.

Andy Borregales: Makes lone field-goal try Thursday
Friday, October 23, 2026 12:34 AM
Borregales made his only field-goal attempt and was successful on all three extra-point tries Thursday in a Week 7 loss to the Bears.
Borregales was limited to extra-point tries until the Patriots' final drive of the game, when the kicker nailed a 47-yard field goal with less than a minute remaining to bring his team to within six points ahead of an unsuccessful onside kick. The second-year pro has been held to just four FG attempts -- all of which he has made -- over his past four contests after going 5-for-7 across New England's first three games of the season. The lower volume is largely due to the Patriots' improvement on offense over that four-game stretch, as Borregales has gone 14-for-15 on point-after attempts during that span.

Rome Odunze: Outproduced by Burden again
Friday, October 23, 2026 12:31 AM
Odunze brought in four of five targets for 69 yards in the Bears' 30-24 win over the Patriots on Thursday.
Odunze was encouragingly efficient in the high-scoring win, but he once again saw fellow wideout Luther Burden be more productive. Burden's 130 receiving yards led the Bears on the night, and Odunze appears to have fallen into more of a de facto No. 2 role at this point in the season. Odunze still carries solid fantasy value, however, and he'll carry a 24-381-0 line on 38 targets into a Week 8 road showdown against the Seahawks on Monday night, Nov. 2.

Colston Loveland: Continues producing in Week 7 win
Friday, October 23, 2026 12:26 AM
Loveland secured seven of 12 targets for 69 yards and a touchdown during the Bears' 30-24 win over the Patriots on Thursday.
The second-year tight end continued to shake out of his early-season slump, putting together his second fantasy-friendly performance in a five-day span. Loveland led the Bears in receptions and targets on the night with figures that also qualified as season highs, and he added his second touchdown in five days on a 12-yard grab early in the third quarter. He has a 13-134-2 line in the last two games alone and should continue playing a key role in a Week 8 road showdown against the Seahawks on Monday night, Nov. 2, and he could be in line for even heavier involvement if Cole Kmet (knee) is unable to suit up.

Cairo Santos: Makes clutch career-long kick
Friday, October 23, 2026 12:25 AM
Santos went 3-for-4 on field-goal tries and made all three of his extra-point attempts in Thursday's 30-24 win over New England.
Santos put the first points on the board with a 43-yard field goal in the first quarter and added a 31-yarder in the second. He had a chance to give Chicago a two-score lead midway through the fourth quarter but clanged a 53-yard attempt off the right upright. However, Santos atoned for that miss in dramatic fashion, knocking in a 58-yard field goal -- the longest make of his career -- with less than two minutes remaining to essentially seal the win for the Bears. He's now 11-for-15 on field-goal tries this season, including 3-for-5 from 50-plus yards.

A.J. Brown: Slight improvement in Week 7 loss
Friday, October 23, 2026 12:19 AM
Brown brought in three of six targets for 48 yards in the Patriots' 30-24 loss to the Bears on Thursday.
Brown entered the night looking to put a fairly forgettable Week 6 return from injury behind him, but the veteran wideout could only slightly improve his numbers in the high-scoring loss. He was fairly quiet until the second half, when he had 16- and 14-yard grabs. Brown did finish second in targets on the night for New England, but Drake Maye focused most on tight end Hunter Henry and running back Rhamondre Stevenson, who saw a combined 12 targets. With Romeo Doubs (IR, shoulder) out for at least three more games, Brown will have a chance to see elevated volume in a Week 8 road matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday, Nov. 1.

D'Andre Swift: Grinds out yards, TD in win
Friday, October 23, 2026 12:11 AM
Swift rushed 22 times for 78 yards and a touchdown and brought in all four targets for 12 yards in the Bears' 30-24 win over the Patriots on Thursday.
With Kyle Monangai (toe/thumb) out for a third straight game, Swift once again handled a workhorse role and parlayed it into some solid production. Swift's rushing yardage total was his third highest of the season, and the veteran back got into the end zone for the third straight game on a four-yard run late in the first quarter. He's up to seven rushing touchdowns on the season, but his touches will take a hit if Monangai is able to get healthy enough over the extended time between Thursday's game and a Week 8 road matchup against the Seahawks on Monday night, Nov. 2 to suit up for that contest.
