According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift (groin) intends to play this Sunday despite being deemed questionable due to a groin injury. The 25-year-old picked up the injury in last weekend's 20-19 loss to the Green Bay Packers. He'd kick off the week of practice tagged with a DNP but was able to log a full session on Friday and garners a questionable tag heading into their divisional matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Minnesota has been a staunch test for opposing running backs this season -- allowing the fewest rushing yards and second-fewest yards per carry in the NFL (3.6). Additionally, the Vikings are letting up just 10.4 fantasy points to the position per contest, behind just the Kansas City Chiefs for the least in the league. It's good news that Swift should suit up, but fantasy managers will want to temper expectations against one of the league's top defensive rushing units. Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker should have another strong performance in a Week 12 game against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football. Dicker is coming off a strong performance in Week 11 where he ended up as the overall K3 for the week. He's been a top-15 fantasy kicker each week but one since Week 5, and should once again land in that range in what could be a high-scoring game. Dicker is one of the safer fantasy kickers this season, and he has nice upside most weeks as well.

New England Patriots running back Antonio Gibson can be left out of fantasy lineups in Week 12 when his team takes on the Miami Dolphins on the road. The 26-year-old had a solid role in New England's passing game for a few weeks earlier this season, but his snap totals have dwindled since then while backfield mate Rhamondre Stevenson gobbles up a large majority of the RB touches. The Dolphins have been a strong matchup for opposing running backs, averaging 18.6 fantasy points allowed per game to the position. Still, fantasy managers can safely avoid Gibson until his involvement in New England's offense drastically increases. He's RotoBaller's PPR RB45 in this week's rankings.

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Will Dissly is set for a strong performance in a Week 12 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football. Dissly has been the overall fantasy TE15 since Week 6, and has finished in the TE1 rankings twice in that span. He's coming off an overall TE5 finish last week, and could see even more targets thrown his way with Hayden Hurst (hip) ruled out. The Ravens defense has been very kind to opposing tight ends, allowing the fourth-most receiving yards per game to the position. Dissly had been piling on the targets and catches lately, and in Week 11 he came up with his first touchdown of the season. Another one is far from unlikely in Week 12, making him a lower-end TE1 option with some upside in what should be a high-scoring contest.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. should not be in fantasy lineups in Week 12 when he faces the New England Patriots at home. The LSU product has seen his snap totals rise over the previous three weeks, and his involvement in Miami's pass attack has correlated. Still, he's yet to clear 17 receiving yards or 4.5 fantasy points in any outing. Moreover, tight end Jonnu Smith has evolved into a reliable second option in the Dolphins offense behind speedster Tyreek Hill, and running back De'Von Achane remains heavily involved in the team's passing game. Despite an excellent matchup against a porous Patriots pass defense, Beckham Jr. will be tough to trust as little more than a lowly WR7. The former fantasy stalwart ranks as RotoBaller's PPR WR77 in Week 12's rankings.

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer is not a good fantasy option in Week 12 lineups despite a great matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. Palmer put up a WR2 performance in Week 9 but has otherwise been outside of the top 24 fantasy wide receivers every week this season. The Ravens secondary struggles mightily against wide receivers (they've allowed the most fantasy points and the most yards to outside pass catchers), but Palmer just isn't involved enough in the passing game to be anything more than a touchdown-dependent dart throw in deep leagues.

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston has plenty of upside in a Week 12 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football. Johnston set a new season-high last week with eight targets, tying him for the team lead with Ladd McConkey. McConkey is questionable with a shoulder injury, and while he seems likely to play, Johnston would have even more upside if his fellow wide out were forced to miss the game. Johnston, who plays the perimeter role on the Chargers offense, could have a huge game since the Ravens secondary has allowed the most fantasy points and receiving yards to outside wide receivers. He's a fairly safe WR3 with a lot more upside than most of the guys ranked around him.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Kenneth Gainwell will not be in play when his team squares off against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night Football. The 25-year-old has settled into a nice role this season, backing up his superstar teammate Saquon Barkley. Since Week 7, Gainwell is averaging 6.8 rush attempts, 31.4 yards on the ground, and one target in his appearances. He's been a solid change-of-pace option for the Eagles but holds little standalone value for fantasy managers outside of his obvious handcuff appeal. While his snap-share is decent, he has yet to score double-digit fantasy points or a touchdown in 2024. For now, he can be stashed in case Barkley is forced to miss time but is better off being left out of fantasy lineups. Gainwell is RotoBaller's PPR RB43 in this week's ranks.

Los Angeles Chargers running back Gus Edwards is not a strong starting option in Week 12's Monday Night Football matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. Edwards will face off against his former team, but he comes into the game as the clear backup to starter J.K. Dobbins. Since coming off injured reserve, Edwards has seen a 25% and 16% snap share, totaling 16 carries for 82 yards without any passing game targets. Edwards remains an important part of the Chargers offense, but it hasn't and likely won't translate to fantasy value, especially this week against an elite Ravens run defense.

Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker is in the midst of the least efficient season of his career. He's made just 72.7% of his field goal attempts and has gone 3-for-7 from 50 yards or further. In Week 11, he missed two of his three attempts which ended up being the difference between a win and a loss. Now, he sets his sights on the matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 12. The Bolts allow the second-fewest fantasy points per contest to kickers at 5.6. That, combined with Tucker's struggles, means there are better options this week.
