Hi everyone,
We had two protests on the trade below:
|
Brass Bull |
Players
Brooks, Jonathon (RB), CAR
Coleman, Keon (WR), BUF
Brooks, Tahj (RB), CIN
Draft Picks
2026 R1 (BigTDsInYoFace) |
BigTDsInYoFace |
Players
Etienne, Travis (RB), JAC
Smith, DeVonta (WR), PHI
Johnston, Quentin (WR), LAC |
Generally speaking, the FFPC rarely overturns trades. We use trade calculators from sites like DynastyTradeCalculator.com or DynastyLeagueFootball.com. We will sometimes use a 2 to 1 ratio to determine the value disparity and we might use this in our decision on any protested trades.
We emailed both owners to confirm the trade and make sure there were no left out players or picks. Both owners emailed us back and confirmed this was the correct trade with no missing pieces.
While using both trade calculators, here is what we got:
DTC - 2026 1st side - 31.6 Vs. Smith side - 38.5 - 1.2:1
DLF - 2026 1st side - 476.5 Vs. Smith side - 565.5 - 1.18:1
As you can see, we are no where near 2X the value on either trade calculator.
While emailing both owners, the owner of Brass Bull stated - He made this trade as he is trying to put together a long term contender. There was no collusion involved whatsoever.
After looking at the trade, both Brooks are potential fliers, but dont offer much this season. Coleman (22) and a 2026 1st are the main pieces going to Brass Bull. The highest valued asset in the trade is the 2026 1st round pick.
Smith and ETN are both 26. Johnston is off to a great start, but he took 3 years to emerge.
Based on the owners response of trying to put together a long term contender, passing both trade calculators by a big margain and there being no collusion, we will not be reversing this trade.
