Bengals head coach Zac Taylor confirmed Monday that Burrow (toe) will require surgery, though he declined to provide details on an expected recovery timeline for the star quarterback, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic and Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.

Burrow reportedly suffered a turf toe injury during Sunday's win over the Jaguars and is facing a minimum recovery timetable of three months if he undergoes surgery, per Adam Schefter of ESPN, which could allow him to return in mid-December. The team hasn't yet confirmed either the severity of Burrow's injury or the possibility of him potentially returning this season, according to Charlie Goldsmith of the Dayton Daily News. Jake Browning will take over under center as long as Burrow is sidelined, priming him to start on the road against Minnesota on Sunday, and the Bengals seem like strong candidates to pursue additional depth at the quarterback position.

Burrow will reportedly need toe surgery, which would sideline him for a minimum of three months, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Confirmation is still pending from the Bengals, but it looks like Burrow will miss extended time, which sets the stage for Jake Browning to handle the team's QB duties into December. Brett Rypien is currently on Cincinnati's practice squad, but the team could look elsewhere for signal-caller depth to back up Browning, per Schefter.

Burrow is feared to have suffered a Grade 3 turf toe injury, which would require surgery and a recovery period of at least three months, Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of NFL Network report.

Burrow exited Sunday's 31-27 win over the Jaguars in the second quarter due to the injury. The star quarterback is still evaluating his options, per Rapoport, but Burrow is likely to face a multi-week absence even if he finds a non-surgical treatment option. Jake Browning produced three total touchdowns after Burrow's injury and would be in line to take over as Cincinnati's starter in Burrow's absence. Browning went 4-3 when Burrow missed the final seven games of the 2023 season due to a torn ligament in his wrist.

Kamara carried the ball 21 times for 99 yards and caught all six of his targets for 21 yards in Sunday's 26-21 loss to the 49ers.

After needing a touchdown to salvage his Week 1 performance, Kamara topped 100 scrimmage yards for the first time in 2025 in Week 2. The veteran RB needed volume to get there though, as his longest run went for only 15 yards. Kamara remains the centerpiece of the Saints' offense under new head coach Kellen Moore, and he could have a big day through the air in Week 3 against a Seahawks defense that has given up 159 combined receiving yards to the Steelers' Jaylen Warren and the 49ers' Christian McCaffrey to begin the season.

Kamara carried the ball 11 times for 45 yards and a touchdown and caught both his targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 20-13 loss to Arizona.

The veteran RB showed he had plenty of juice left in the tank on the Saints' only TD of the game, an 18-yard scamper early in the second quarter, but Kamara otherwise didn't find much running room. Kellen Moore's new offense leaned heavily on the passing game as Spencer Rattler attempted a career-high 46 passes, but that may not be a detriment to Kamara's production given his proven ability as a receiver. He'll look to make an impact again at home Week 2 against the 49ers.

Saints coach Kellen Moore said Wednesday that Kamara will take most of the team's carries, with other running backs ready to step up when there's a chance, Erin Summers of NFL Network reports.

It's what fantasy managers want to hear four days before the season opener, even if there's nothing surprising or unexpected about Moore's quote. Kendre Miller won the No. 2 RB job this summer, but he didn't necessarily do enough to earn a big Week 1 role, more or less defaulting into his depth chart spot after rookie Devin Neal missed much of the summer with a hamstring injury. Miller and Neal could get more involved as the season progresses, but Kamara figures to take well over half of the snaps and touches this Sunday against San Francisco.

Hunter secured three of six targets for 22 yards while recording two solo tackles and a defensed pass in the Jaguars' 31-27 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.

Hunter put together another modest showing on offense to open his NFL career, although he was encouragingly third in targets and also saw an increase in his involvement on defense. One of those looks resulted in a first-quarter interception by the Bengals' Dax Hill, and Hunter was ultimately outproduced by Nos. 3 and No. 4 receivers Dyami Brown and Parker Washington in addition to top wideout Brian Thomas. Nevertheless, Hunter's talent likely isn't going to allow him to be held down for long, and the rookie second-overall pick's next opportunity to enjoy his first breakout game as a professional comes in a Week 3 home matchup against the Texans next Sunday afternoon.

Jaguars head coach Liam Coen said Wednesday that Hunter will get more snaps on defense in Sunday's game at Cincinnati, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

In the Jaguars' Week 1 win over Carolina, Hunter played 64 percent of his team's snaps on offense but only nine percent on defense, catching six passes for 33 yards on a team-high eight targets. He ran a route on 77 percent of Trevor Lawrence's dropbacks, flirting with full-time status in his NFL debut. Additional playing time on defense doesn't necessarily mean fewer snaps on offense, especially when Hunter is starting at such a low point with the former. He should remain a key part of Jacksonville's offense, regardless of what his weekly role on defense looks like in the coming games.

Hunter caught six of eight targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 26-10 win over the Panthers. He added one tackle on defense.

Making his NFL debut, the second overall pick in the 2025 Draft led the Jaguars in receptions, although his longest gain went for only 10 yards, and two of his teammates topped him in yardage. Hunter saw most of his action on offense, but his usage at cornerback should increase as the season progresses once he's shown he has the playbook down on offense, something he took a big step toward demonstrating Sunday. Hunter will look to continue building chemistry with Trevor Lawrence on the road Week 2 against the Bengals.

Flacco completed 25 of 45 passes for 199 yards with a touchdown and an interception while adding one rush for eight yards in the Browns' 41-17 loss to the Ravens on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.

Flacco's underwhelming line tells the tale of a sluggish afternoon for the Browns' offense, one during which he took two sacks in addition to his two turnovers. Flacco spread the ball around well but was outmanned by an aggressive Ravens defense and an efficient, mistake-free performance by Lamar Jackson. Flacco was replaced by rookie Dillon Gabriel for the final drive -- which did result in a touchdown -- but Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports head coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed Flacco would remain the starter for a Week 3 home matchup against the Packers.

Flacco completed 31 of 45 passes for 290 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's 17-16 loss to the Bengals. He added two rushes for six yards.

The Browns played at a methodical pace and prioritized passes to the short areas of the field early in the game, with Flacco attempting 15 passes for 87 yards by halftime. He opened things up in the second half, when he accounted for his longest completions of the game (25, 25 and 22 yards). Flacco's lone touchdown of the game came on the opening drive of the third quarter, when he connected with Cedric Tillman from five yards away. Things turned quickly, however, as he threw an interception that set up the game-winning field goal for Cincinnati on the following drive.

Elliott converted both of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries in the Eagles' win over the Chiefs on Sunday.

Elliott has made a 58-yard field goal in back-to-back weeks to open the season after kicks of 50-plus yards were his bugaboo during the 2024 campaign. In addition to the 58-yarder, Elliott also made a 51-yard field goal against Kansas City on Sunday. On the season, Elliott has made all three of his field goals -- all 50-plus yards -- and all five of his extra points.

Elliott made a 58-yard field-goal attempt and all three PAT tries in Thursday's 24-20 win over the Cowboys.

Elliott missed eight field-goal attempts and didn't connect on a kick longer than 50 yards in the 2024 regular season, but he could be in the early stages of a bounce-back campaign, as his lone field goal Thursday came from three yards shy of his career long. Philadelphia's short-yardage success and aggressiveness led to more PAT tries than field-goal attempts for Elliott, but he can provide fantasy utility if he regains the accuracy that helped him miss three or fewer field-goal attempts in each of the 2021, 2022 and 2023 regular seasons.

Purdy (toe/shoulder), who has been ruled out for Sunday's game in New Orleans, is considered unlikely to be available for the 49ers' Week 3 game versus the Cardinals, though his condition has improved over the past week, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. "We'll see for next week," one source told Schefter, regarding Purdy's status. "Next week will be tight, but he progressed a lot this week."

Purdy (toe) has been ruled out for Sunday's game at New Orleans, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Purdy, whom head coach Kyle Shanahan has called a "longshot" to play Sunday against the Saints, could miss 2-to-5 weeks with a turf toe variant, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

White rushed 10 times for 65 yards and a touchdown and brought in both targets for one yard in the Buccaneers' 20-19 win over the Texans on Monday night. He also recovered a Baker Mayfield fumble.

White rushed twice for 14 yards and brought in his only target for two yards in the Buccaneers' 23-20 win over the Falcons on Sunday.

White (groin) wasn't listed on the Buccaneers' first Week 1 practice report Wednesday, Brianna Dix of the team's official site reports.

Samuel secured seven of eight targets for 44 yards and a touchdown and returned two kickoffs for 78 yards in the Commanders' 27-18 loss to the Packers on Thursday night.

Samuel caught seven of 10 targets for 77 yards while scoring a 19-yard touchdown on his only rushing attempt in Sunday's 21-6 win over the Giants.

Shaheed caught four of five targets for 52 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-21 loss to the 49ers.

Shaheed caught six of nine targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Cardinals.

Njoku brought in four of five targets for 40 yards in the Browns' 41-17 loss to the Ravens on Sunday.

Njoku recorded three receptions on six targets for 37 yards in Sunday's 17-16 loss to the Bengals.
