The Eagles offense has been firing on all cylinders as of late and Hurts has been turnover-free the past three weeks. While this game could become a route early for the Eagles, Hurts carries a solid scoring floor with what is possibly the highest ceiling of the week due to how good his matchup is.

However, Philadelphia turned things up on both sides of the ball after this and the 26-year-old was everything for the offense in Week 8. Running back Saquon Barkley had a few scoring opportunities taken from him due to two brotherly shove touchdown runs by Hurts and another scoring run from inside the 10, but this was the best game the Eagles signal-caller has looked as a passer all season as well. This offense has been clicking since the bye week and Hurts has not turned the ball over while scoring a total of nine touchdowns in the past three weeks. Moving into Week 8, Hurts and the Birds face off against one of the worst defenses in the NFL, the Jacksonville Jaguars.

He will look to continue to dominate the work in the backfield for Cleveland in a Week 9 home matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers have been tough against running backs this season, allowing the second-fewest fantasy points per game to the position thus far. The Cleveland offense looked resurgent under Jameis Winston last week but fantasy gamers should still temper expectations for Chubb thanks to the difficult matchup. Treat him as a high-end RB3 for Week 9.

Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb carried the ball 16 times for 52 yards while failing to haul in either of his two targets in a 29-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 8. Chubb, playing in his second game of the season, ran harder and looked more decisive than he did in his season debut last week as he gets further removed from a 2023 torn ACL. While he didn't find the end zone, the entire Cleveland offense looked the best they have all season with Jameis Winston making his first start of the season. That fact bodes well for Chubb's rest of season outlook in fantasy as he will benefit from a functional offense around him. Treat Chubb as a solid RB3 heading into Week 9 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb made a triumphant return to the field last week as he scored a touchdown in his first game in over a year. He will look to keep it going in Week 8's home game against the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens have been very beatable through the air this season but they have been tough against the run, allowing the 20th-most fantasy points per game to running backs thus far. Chubb should get the majority of the work on early downs but he still settles in as an RB3 in fantasy thanks to the challenging matchup.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Amari Cooper (wrist) remained limited during Thursday's practice according to Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status during Friday's practice as the wideout may carry an injury designation into the weekend if he is unable to upgrade to a full participant. After tallying 66 yards and a score in his Buffalo debut in Week 7, Cooper took the backseat in Week 8 as he brought in just one pass for three yards. If Cooper is unable to play this weekend against the Miami Dolphins, fantasy managers should expect rookie Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir to see an increase in opportunities.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Amari Cooper (wrist) is not practicing on Wednesday due to a wrist injury. The former Cleveland Brown sustained the injury in the Week 8 win over the Seattle Seahawks and could be at risk of missing Week 9 against the Miami Dolphins. In Cooper's first game with the organization, he caught four of his five targets for 66 yards and a touchdown despite playing just 19 snaps. He played 38 snaps last weekend but was limited to one reception for three yards on two targets. The former first-round pick has been known as a boom-or-bust fantasy option throughout his career, but between his injury and working to get comfortable with his new team, it could be a few weeks before he produces a big spike week. The Dolphins have allowed the fewest fantasy points per game to wideouts this season, so even if Cooper suits up, it's tough to trust him in Week 9.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Amari Cooper caught one pass for three yards on two targets in the team's win over Seattle in Week 8. The veteran played more snaps than last week in his second game with the Bills but trailed Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir. Those receivers and tight end Dalton Kincaid were Josh Allen's primary targets. It's difficult for all fantasy-relevant players on the Buffalo offense to succeed at once, and there will be inconsistencies for Cooper and the rest of the wide receiver room. The game script also didn't help Cooper. The Bills held a 17-point lead in the third quarter. He'll be a WR2/3 next week against the Miami Dolphins.

Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn had a rough outing on Thursday night along with the rest of the team in the 21-13 loss to the New York Jets. The 30-year-old made a 29 and 54-yarder as well as an extra point but missed a 27 and 56-yarder. This was the first game all season that Fairbairn missed more than one field goal which brings his overall percentage down to 84.0%. He'll look to bounce back in a Sunday night game against the Detroit Lions in Week 10.

Washington Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels should continue to be viewed as a high-end QB1 heading into Week 9 when he faces the New York Giants. Last weekend, the LSU standout was a game-time decision with a rib injury but was able to suit up and lead the Commanders to a thrilling victory. In this game, Daniels threw for a season-high 326 yards and a score that was capped off by a game-winning Hail Mary pass to Noah Brown. This week, he was a limited participant in practice but does not carry an injury designation into the weekend. Fantasy managers should feel confident putting Daniels in their lineup as the Giants have allowed the 20th-most points to opposing QBs this season.

Playing through a rib injury, Daniels was able to drive the Commanders downfield throughout the game but was unable to strike in the red zone. He found his wideout Terry McLaurin quite often for 125 yards and on an impressive 61-yard reception. However, his fantasy day was significantly improved by an incredible game-winning Hail Mary pass to Noah Brown for 52 yards. The LSU standout continues to add to his impressive rookie resume and remains a top fantasy option.

Las Vegas Raiders running back Zamir White (quad) is questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. He was a full participant in Friday's practice and is expected to be active in Week 9. White lost his starting job to his former backup, Alexander Mattison, ahead of his Week 8 matchup. He proceeded to rush the ball two times for a loss of one yard after playing just 3% of the snaps in the game against the Kansas City Chiefs. He's unlikely to earn his job back. Head coach Antonio Pierce expressed his desire to continue getting White the ball, but it's unlikely he'll earn meaningful touches moving forward after such an ineffective performance. He's averaged just 3 yards per carry on the season. He's not startable in any leagues for now.

Las Vegas Raiders running back Zamir White (quad) was unable to suit up for Thursday's practice session. White was limited to open the week, but was unable to go on Thursday. Possibly, White was given a rest day on Thursday, but nonetheless it's concerning that he sat out. White missed two games due to a groin issue which allowed Alexander Mattison to see increased looks. Mattison played well during that time and appears to be the lead back going forward. White has only seen five carries over the last two games. He's worth holding in dynasty formats, but his outlook seems bleak right now. He appears to be stuck in a committee which is never good for fantasy value.

White logged just two snaps in the team's 27-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8, and the quad ailment could be the reason why. It's the second injury that's hampered his playing time this month after he suffered a groin injury that held him out of Weeks 5 and 6. Meyers, on the other hand, returned in Week 8 from an ankle injury that kept him out of Weeks 6 and 7, and this may be just a day of rest for the veteran. The 27-year-old played 81% of snaps in the loss to the Chiefs, catching 6-of-7 targets for 52 yards and a touchdown. He's worth monitoring ahead of the Raiders' Week 9 road tilt against the Cincinnati Bengals, while White will likely continue backing up backfield mate Alexander Mattison if he plays.

Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz finished Thursday night's 21-13 loss at the New York Jets with three catches for 21 yards. The Texans targeted the veteran tight end six times, which ranked second only to wide receiver Tank Dell, but completed just 11 of their 31 passing attempts on the night. Schultz now has failed to hit 30 yards receiving in six of nine games and still does not have a touchdown yet this season. He'll look for a long-awaited breakout in a solid matchup against Detroit in Week 10.
