Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill notched a quieter game in the Week 2 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. He only received four carries compared to Derrick Henry's 18 and hauled in two receptions on two targets. Hill remains the primary back in passing situations, and the Ravens weren't playing from behind in most of this game. That situation is not likely to change as the season rolls on, so his fantasy value will be dependent on the game script. This offense hasn't been able to find a consistent stride yet, so Hill hasn't been able to get any garbage time opportunities either. In Week 3, the Ravens will hit the road and play the Dallas Cowboys, another tougher defense that will test their offensive potential and could translate to more passing work for Hill.

Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill can be left out of fantasy managers' lineups for the team's Week 2 home matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. With backfield mate Derrick Henry to take most of the early-down work -- and project for most of the goal-line carries, too -- the 26-year-old RB will be a volatile, game-script-dependent play. He'll be tough to trust in Baltimore's home opener this Sunday.

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Christian Kirk put up yet another dud in an 18-13 loss to the Cleveland Browns. He finished with just one catch for negative one yard, giving him two catches and 29 yards through two games. Kirk was considered a safer option among the Jaguars receivers coming into the season given his experience and his familiarity with the offense. However, he has been nonexistent both in real football and in fantasy. At this point, it's hard to fathom keeping Kirk in fantasy beyond deeper leagues. With Evan Engram a surprise pre-game scratch, Kirk had the chance to step up, but instead, it was backup tight end Brenton Strange who filled the void with three catches for 65 yards. To make matters worse, the 27-year-old was fifth on the team in targets with three, behind Brian Thomas Jr., Strange, Gabe Davis, and Travis Etienne Jr. Kirk will look to get going against the Buffalo Bills on Monday night, but it is hard to imagine that will happen at the moment.

A good game against the Browns could boost Kirk back to being the top fantasy receiver on the Jaguars, but for now, he is best left out of starting lineups.

In Week 2, Jacksonville faces the Cleveland Browns and their top secondary, making Kirk a risky flex play.

He will not garner many targets each week but has the talent to be a boom-or-bust fantasy receiver. BTJ now has put up two solid fantasy performances in two weeks, with a touchdown in Week 1 and a big yardage total in Week 2. The Jaguars face off with the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football, where BTJ will look to continue making big plays in an otherwise stagnant offense.

The rookie receiver seems like the top fantasy receiver for the Jaguars for now, but that could easily change after this week. Fantasy managers who are looking for upside are fine to put BTJ in their flex spot, but don't be surprised if he struggles given the tough matchup and the natural volatility of rookie receivers.

While rookie WRs tend to be volatile early in the season (see Xavier Worthy and Marvin Harrison Jr.), the LSU product has a chance to step up and become a reliable option in the Jacksonville passing game. In the future, the first-round rookie should be viewed as an upside FLEX option that could easily disappoint. BTJ faces off with the Cleveland Browns secondary in Week 2, who held CeeDee Lamb to just five catches for 61 yards.

The 29-year-old will look to remain perfect in Week 3's matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.

The 29-year-old went 4-for-4 in field goals and 3-for-3 in extra points in Week 1, with his longest kick of the day clocking in at 57 yards. In a lot of formats, he put up 20+ fantasy points. Now, with a home matchup, and an offense that will still be able to move the ball into kicking range, Aubrey remains a must-start. In 2023, Aubrey made all 21 of his field goal attempts at home and knocked through 28 of his 29 extra points. Fantasy managers can be confident starting Aubrey each week as long as the Cowboys offense is moving the ball down the field.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson completed 17 of his 34 attempts for 204 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions in the team's loss to the Green Bay Packers. He also ran the ball four times for another 37 yards on the ground. Despite coming off a huge fantasy showing in Week 1, Richardson showed his limitations as a passer and was not able to compensate with his rushing ability in Sunday's matchup. Richardson was able to find WR Alec Pierce in the fourth quarter for a touchdown, which helped boost his fantasy production. Sunday's matchup was an unfortunate mix of low passing volume, limited rushing, and turnovers that kept Richardson from having a strong fantasy outing. He does face a tougher matchup in Week 3 when the Colts host the Chicago Bears, but fantasy managers can still look to him as an upper-echelon QB target and start him with confidence due to his rushing upside.

Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen said that there is no issue with quarterback Anthony Richardson's right hand after he hit it on an opponent's helmet late in Sunday's Week 1 loss to the division-rival Houston Texans. It wasn't the best performance for Richardson to open the season, as he continued to display a concerning lack of accuracy on open receivers, but fantasy managers aren't complaining after he produced three total touchdowns (two passing, one rushing) in the 29-27 loss. The 22-year-old went just 9-for-19 passing for 212 yards, two touchdowns and a pick while adding 56 rushing yards on six carries and a third TD. You'll have to continue to take the good with the bad with Richardson after he played in just four games in his rookie season in 2023 due to a shoulder injury, but his upside is through the roof and it gives him high-end QB1 upside each week.

Updating a previous report, the San Francisco 49ers may place running back Christian McCaffrey (Achilles, calf) on the Injured Reserve on Saturday, which would rule him out for at least the next four games. CMC obviously needs to be stashed everywhere. Jordan Mason, who went off as the team's RB1 in Week 1 in place of McCaffrey, now sees his fantasy stock rise even more. He's rostered in 82% of Yahoo leagues right now.

New York Giants tight end Theo Johnson is looking for a strong Week 2 performance against the Washington Commanders this Sunday. Johnson was targeted four times in his rookie debut but only reeled in one reception for 18 yards. He also dropped two catchable balls, so he could have had a bigger day but struggled with the rest of the Giants offense. Moving forward, what most impressed most as a fantasy manager was that he saw 61 offensive snaps, so he looks like the clear-cut TE1 on the Giants.
