If St. Brown is forced to miss any time, then wide receiver Jameson Williams, running back Jahmyr Gibbs, and tight end Sam LaPorta would all see increased target shares. For now, fantasy managers can only wait for news on initial testing and practice participation as we head into Week 3.

He also had 12 catches for 124 yards and a touchdown in Week 6 last year against the Buccaneers. As always, St. Brown is a must-start in all fantasy leagues.

Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders will again look to help his team to a victory when they face the Buffalo Bills in a Thursday Night Football divisional matchup. Sanders successfully converted both of his extra-point tries and 2-of-3 field goals -- including a 52-yard game-winner with time expiring -- against the Jacksonville Jaguars this past Sunday. His miss was a 42-yard attempt in the third quarter. The 28-year-old did not attempt a field goal in his matchups against the Bills last season and was just 4-for-4 on point attempt tries over the two contests. Buffalo's defense doesn't hold quite the star power it once did, so it's fair to expect Sanders to score more than two fantasy points -- his total in both matchups last season. Arizona Cardinals kicker Matt Prater connected on both of his FG and XP tries last week in the team's 34-28 loss. Miami has an implied point total of 26 points heading into Week 1, and there should be plenty of scoring opportunities for the Dolphins squaring off against a Jaguars team that struggled against the pass in 2023. Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix looked shaky again in his second career NFL game in the 13-6 loss to the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday in Denver. Nix and the Broncos offense had almost zero highlights on the day, although they did outgain the Steelers offense 295 to 251. The first-round rookie signal-caller failed to lead the team to a single touchdown drive on the day, going 20-for-35 for 246 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions while carrying the ball four times for 25 yards on the ground. Nix's first pick was a throw off his heels in the pocket into coverage in the back of the end zone in the third quarter. He also ended the contest with a desperation heave down the field. Things won't get any easier for the 24-year-old in a Week 3 road contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he'll be a QB3 in fantasy.

Thirteen of his completions went for four or fewer yards. At best, Nix will be a low-end QB2 option for fantasy managers in superflex leagues against a swarming Steelers defense. Expect Denver to prioritize the ground game a bit more against Pittsburgh while continuing to mostly give Nix shorter targets to help him succeed and build his confidence. The Steelers held Kirk Cousins to 155 yards passing in Week 1. Nix has a tough opening schedule, so fantasy managers should expect more growing pains.

His rushing score came late in the game to draw the Broncos to within six, but they couldn't pull off the comeback. Not many people were expecting Nix to go into Seattle and put up big numbers in his first NFL start. Nix has intriguing athletic ability but should be only considered a QB2/3 in superflex leagues heading into Week 2 against a strong Pittsburgh Steelers defense.

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney is a potential WR4 play when the team squares off against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. Mooney registered a snap on 53 plays for the Falcons in their Week 1 18-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, reeling in 1-of-3 targets for 15 yards. He tied for third on the team with three targets and matched wide receiver Drake London's receiving total of 15 yards. This is likely one of the few times the 26-year-old ties Atlanta's WR1 in total yardage and targets. However, he'll be an imminent threat for a deep ball or two when the Falcons take on the Eagles on MNF. He's a nice flier in an Atlanta offense that projects to pick it up over the next few weeks, with Kirk Cousins working his way back to full health after a 2023 Achilles injury. For now, though, Mooney can be avoided until his production ticks up and the Falcons get on track.

It's worth noting that tight end Kyle Pitts and running back Bijan Robinson should also be involved in the receiving game. Mooney has spent the last four seasons with the Chicago Bears. His best season came in 2021 when he recorded 81 receptions for 1,055 yards and four touchdowns. He's worth stashing in most fantasy formats and should be on the WR4 radar heading into the opener.
