Fantasy managers should pay close attention to Friday's injury report as it will likely clarify his availability heading into Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills. Purdy could not suit up last weekend and ceded starting duties to Brandon Allen. Purdy has enjoyed another excellent fantasy season as he has averaged a solid 23.4 PPR points per game. If Purdy can suit up, he should be considered a solid QB1 in all formats. If not, Allen is best to fade and should only be deployed in deep Superflex formats facing a tough Buffalo defense.

If Purdy is more of a game-time decision this week, it will make life very difficult for fantasy managers with the Niners not playing until Sunday night. Purdy sat out of the Week 12 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday due to a right-shoulder injury that remains somewhat of a mystery. It's good news that the 24-year-old had a successful throwing session to start the week, but his status for the Week 13 contest versus the Buffalo Bills on Sunday is very much up in the air as of now. If Purdy is unable to go by the weekend, Brandon Allen would likely make a second straight start after going just 17-for-29 for 199 yards, one TD and one interception in the loss to Green Bay. Everyone in San Fran's offense struggled in Week 12 with Allen under center, outside of tight end George Kittle. Any fantasy managers invested in the 49ers' offensive weapons is hoping Purdy returns against Buffalo.

New York Giants running back Devin Singletary scored the team's lone touchdown in a 30-7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers despite an otherwise quiet performance with just two carries for three rushing yards and two catches for seven receiving yards. Singletary's four total touches, producing only 10 yards, highlight his limited role in the offense behind starter Tyrone Tracy Jr. The Giants trailed 23-0 at halftime, amassing a paltry 45 yards of offense through two quarters, leaving Singletary with few opportunities to contribute. While his late touchdown salvaged eight fantasy points, his low volume and Tracy's clear lead in the backfield make Singletary not a fantasy option in the near future.

New York Giants running back Devin Singletary could produce solid flex value this weekend facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Since returning from a groin injury, the veteran running back has slowly been eased into action but has continued to see an uptick in carries in each contest. Even though rookie Tyrone Tracy Jr. has shown flashes of high potential, he surrendered a costly fumble in their most recent loss to the Carolina Panthers, which may cause Singletary to return to his "1A" role in the backfield. Earlier in the season, when the veteran was in the lead role, he averaged an impressive 15.5 PPR points through the first three weeks of the season. Facing a weak Tampa Bay defense that has allowed the fifth-most PPR points to opposing RBs this season could open the door for a solid bounce-back showing for Singletary.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans made his return to the field on Sunday after missing each of the last three games. Evans posted a nice outing as he hauled in five of his six targets for 68 yards in the win over the New York Giants. The veteran wideout wasn't able to find the end zone, but it was a decent performance from Evans for his first game back in the mix. The 68 yards was a team-high and the five catches were his most since Week 5. Fantasy managers should expect Evans to continue succeeding against the Carolina Panthers in Week 13.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) is officially active in Week 12 to take on the New York Giants on Sunday. Evans suffered a moderate right-hamstring strain in the Week 7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens and will be making his first start since then. He probably could have suited up in the Week 10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, but the Bucs opted to play it safe and give Evans and another full week to rest during last week's bye. Head coach Todd Bowles hinted that the team could pull the future Hall of Famer from Sunday's game if he isn't feeling quite right, but now that we know Evans is officially, active, he needs to be returned to all starting fantasy lineups as the WR1 in Tampa with Chris Godwin (ankle) out for the year. Evans is averaging 11.8 half-PPR fantasy points per game (21st among receivers). Start him.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) is expected to suit up for Sunday's meeting with the New York Giants. The wideout has battled a hamstring injury, keeping him off the field for the Bucs' previous three contests. Tampa could certainly use him, with the team dropping four-straight games heading into Week 12. But help is likely on the way in the form of Evans, who had 26 catches for 335 yards and six touchdowns before going on the shelf. Without question, fantasy managers can get him back in the starting lineup despite the concern of a lightened workload. Evans' return should also have a positive impact on Baker Mayfield. On the other hand, his presence may not be good news for Cade Otton, who had 30 catches and three touchdowns in his last four appearances.

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley (ankle) and running back Tyjae Spears (concussion) both logged full practice sessions on Thursday afternoon, according to Jim Wyatt of TennesseeTitans.com. Ridley did not participate during Wednesday's practice, and seeing him return to full participation in just one day suggests that the injury was fairly minor. Spears was limited on Wednesday, and seeing him also participate in full is a positive sign for his status this weekend. However, Spears will need to pass the league's concussion protocol before suiting up. Ridley has averaged a strong 90.2 yards over his past five games, while Spears has typically been deployed as the No.2 option behind Tony Pollard. Fantasy managers should continue to view Ridley as a solid WR2, while Spears should be viewed as a low-end flex option.

Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears (concussion) is working his way through the league's concussion protocol and was listed as limited for the first practice of the week on Wednesday. Spears suffered a concussion in Week 11 and didn't play in the Week 12 win over the division-rival Houston Texans. The 23-year-old has already missed games in 2024 due to ankle and hamstring issues, but he could get cleared by an independent neurologist later this week to play this Sunday against the Washington Commanders if he avoids setbacks. That would be bad news for Tony Pollard's fantasy ceiling in Week 13, even though he's been the Titans' lead back all year, even when Spears has been healthy. In terms of average half-PPR points per game in 2024, Spears isn't even in the top 50 among RBs. If he returns to face the Commanders on Sunday, he'll be a low-upside RB3/flex, at best.

Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan said that running back Tyjae Spears (concussion) will not play in Week 12 against the division-rival Houston Texans on Sunday after missing practice all week. Spears suffered a concussion in the Week 11 loss to the Minnesota Vikings and was unable to clear the league's concussion protocol in time to play this weekend. His absence means that lead runner Tony Pollard will have some more fantasy upside in a bad matchup against Houston. Meanwhile, Julius Chestnut will have a more substantial role as the change-of-pace option behind Pollard in Tennessee's backfield. It remains to be seen if Spears will be able to clear the concussion protocol next week in time to play the Washington Commanders in Week 13. The 23-year-old has mostly taken a back seat to Pollard in 2024, seeing 43 carries for 161 yards and a TD while catching 17 passes for 88 yards.

Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott hit three field goals from 21, 26, and 31 yards away and converted all four extra point attempts during the team's 37-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams. After his worst performance of the season in Week 11, the veteran kicker was perfect in LA Sunday night and had a solid fantasy performance. Predicting Elliott's big games has been tough this season, but the Eagles offense has been more conservative as of late and has decided to take points when they can rather than go for it on fourth down. Elliott remains boom-or-bust but will be a streamer in any game the Eagles play poor defenses.

Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott will go on the road to take on the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12. The veteran has had a rough season for fantasy purposes. After being passed up multiple times this season on fourth down in favor of going for it, the team finally decided to try and take the points often last week against Washington. Elliott proceeded to miss two of four field goals and also missed one of his three extra-point attempts. Playing in Los Angeles is favorable for him, but it will be interesting to see what direction head coach Nick Sirianni will go when in field goal range on fourth down after last week's poor performance. Even with six teams on bye, Elliott remains tough to trust in Week 12.

Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott went 2-for-4 on field-goal attempts Thursday and missed one of his three extra-point attempts during the team's 26-18 win over the Washington Commanders. Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni finally elected to try and take the points this week instead of going for it constantly on fourth down, but Elliott continued to struggle like he has all year and missed multiple kicks. Perhaps there is a reason Sirianni has been so aggressive on fourth down in plus territory, but it is more likely that one of last season's most accurate kickers just had an off night. Regardless, he is far too risky to trust for fantasy moving forward and should be left on waivers until we see more consistent production.

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Desmond Ridder stepped in for starting QB Gardner Minshew II (collarbone), who suffered a season-ending injury near the end of the team's Week 12 loss to the Denver Broncos. Ridder completed five of ten passes for 64 yards, carried the ball one time for three yards, and was sacked twice. He lost a fumble on one of his sacks. He only played the final 2:50 of the game, so he didn't have many chances to make an impact, as the game was out of reach at that point. But what he showed wasn't great. It's not yet known if the former Falcon will start in Week 13 -- Aidan O'Connell (thumb) remains on injured reserve with a broken thumb. The team will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 13, who've looked mortal lately, but Ridder is tough to justify starting even in 2QB/Superflex leagues.
