He did this against a solid Falcons defense and no top target as A.J. Brown (hamstring) missed this game and will likely miss a few more. Fantasy managers should be encouraged by this performance and have hope that Hurts will be the fantasy force he was drafted to be moving forward. The Eagles signal caller will be a top-five option next week in a showdown against the impressive New Orleans Saints.

The Eagles should not have as hard of a time finding the endzone, but there are two noteworthy things to point out. Wide receiver A.J. Brown (hamstring) was limited Friday in practice and if he is not at 100%, then Hurts passing upside is capped a bit. In addition, Saquon Barkley was the one to find the endzone on the ground when in the red zone last week. The Eagles quarterback will have rushing touchdowns in 2024, but the number compared to previous years is likely to come down and it makes Hurts' upside come down with it. All that said, Hurts faced plenty of adversity last week and was a solid fantasy option, and should be considered top five at his position heading into Monday night.

However, things will likely get sorted out ahead of the Eagles Week 2 meeting with the Atlanta Falcons on Monday night. With that said, Hurts will remain a must-start in all fantasy formats.

Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (chest) is practicing on Wednesday after missing last week's Thursday Night Football contest against the Buffalo Bills with a chest injury. The 32-year-old had a poor showing in Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, totaling just 19 yards on seven touches. Miami's backfield is already becoming tricky to navigate, and the fantasy ceiling of all the Miami backs could take a hit while Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) is sidelined. Sophomore running back De'Von Achane remains a must-start option, but Mostert is likely to see fewer red-zone and goal-line opportunities over the next handful of games after he scored 21 touchdowns in 2023. If Mostert is active this week, consider him a shaky flex play for the Week 3 contest against the Seattle Seahawks.

It's too early to say Mostert could be regressing, but it's on the table. In his absence, Jeff Wilson Jr. and/or Jaylen Wright will handle touches behind Achane, assuming he's active for Week 2.

De'Von Achane (ankle) was also held out on Monday and Tuesday due to an ankle injury, so the injury concerns in this backfield are already coming to life. McDaniel said Achane's status could be up in the air. If Achane plays, he's a must-start option in all leagues. That said, either or both Jeff Wilson Jr. and rookie Jaylen Wright could see work behind him in Mostert's absence, making them low-end flex plays. If Achane can't suit up, both of Miami's backup running backs are flex dice rolls in leagues of 12 teams or more. Wright was a healthy inactive in Week 1, but he could get involved with injuries already piling up.

New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson has yet to post a ceiling game in 2024, having caught just 10 passes for 117 yards through two games thus far. He will look to make a bigger impact in the box score against the New England Patriots in Week 3's Thursday night game. Wilson could very well break out against a Pats defense that is allowing the seventh-most fantasy points per game through the first two weeks of the season and is fresh off getting shredded by DK Metcalf (10 catches for 129 yards and a touchdown) and Jaxon Smith-Njigba (12-117-0). Wilson is a lock for starting lineups as a low-end WR1 in fantasy heading into Thursday night.

New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson caught four of his six targets for 57 yards in a 24-17 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 2. Wilson finished second on the team in targets, behind only Breece Hall, while his 57 receiving yards were good enough to lead the team in the close win over Tennessee. Wilson has been steady through the first two weeks of the season but fantasy gamers are still waiting for a dominant performance from their first-round draft pick. He will look to provide that for them in Week 3's Thursday night game against the New England Patriots.

New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson caught six of his 11 targets for 60 yards in a Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The veteran wide receiver will look to keep it going in a Week 2 road matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Tennessee struggled to slow fantasy receivers in 2023, allowing the eighth-most fantasy points per game to the position. Wilson paced the Jets in targets in Week 1 and should continue to operate as Aaron Rodgers' first read moving forward. That puts Wilson on the map as a top-10 fantasy receiver heading into Week 2.

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said on Wednesday that newly signed running back Kareem Hunt has a chance to play in Week 3 on Sunday night against the Atlanta Falcons. Starting RB Isiah Pacheco (leg) fractured his fibula in the Week 2 win over the Cincinnati Bengals and is now sidelined for up to six to eight weeks. As a result, the Chiefs have reunited with Hunt, who had 453 carries for 2,151 yards (4.7 yards per carry) and 15 touchdowns while also catching 79 of 98 targets for 833 yards and 10 touchdowns as a pass-catcher in KC in his first two NFL seasons back in 2017-18. The 29-year-old is currently on the team's practice squad, but he could be elevated to the active roster by this Saturday to serve as more backfield depth alongside rookie Carson Steele and Samaje Perine as the Chiefs move forward without Pacheco. Because of his familiarity with the Chiefs, Hunt is worth a waiver-wire pickup for those hurting at the RB position early on in 2024.

Hunt was the Chiefs' third-round pick in 2017 and was named to the Pro Bowl his rookie season, when he had a league-high 1,327 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on a career-high 272 carries that year. He has spent the last five years in Cleveland, averaging 4.0 yards per carry while scoring 32 total touchdowns in 64 games. The 29-year-old has familiarity in KC's system and should eventually join rookie Carson Steele and Samaje Perine in the Chiefs backfield. Hunt is worth a waiver-wire pickup if you're hurting at RB.

Hunt hasn't played for the Chiefs since the 2018 season. However, the veteran running back averaged 7.4 half-point PPR fantasy points per game last year with the Cleveland Browns, totaling nine rushing touchdowns. If he signs with the team, Hunt, Steele, and Perine will all see meaningful touches until Pacheco is healthy.

Atlanta Falcons kicker Younghoe Koo connected on all three of his field goal attempts and made his lone extra point in the team's win over Philadelphia on Monday night. The trusted kicker was perfect on the night with a long of 39 yards. Koo is one of the best kickers in the league and showed why on Monday night, despite not having any very long opportunities. Continue to fire up Koo at the kicker position in fantasy lineups each week.

Atlanta Falcons kicker Younghoe Koo managed only one extra point and one field goal attempt in the team's Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. This week, Koo plays on Monday Night football outdoors against the Philadelphia Eagles, who could be out in front in this one often, potentially taking Koo out of the game script early, just like the Niners took Greg Zuerlein out of last week's Monday night matchup. Many kickers have a much more positive outlook this week. It's best to leave Koo on the waiver wire for another week, as he is currently 16th among all kickers in the latest RotoBaller rankings for Week 2.

Atlanta Falcons kicker Younghoe Koo converted his lone field goal attempt on Sunday from 24 yards out and tacked on one extra point in an 18-10 loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Koo is among the most intriguing kicking options this season, with the newly revamped offense for the Falcons and the fact that he plays half of his game indoors. Unfortunately for Koo, the offense wasn't quite in good shape in this game, as they barely got into field goal range. Once this offense starts clicking on all cylinders, expect more opportunities for Koo moving forward. He should still be a solid start in a matchup that should provide plenty of offense for both sides when the Falcons face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football in Week 2.
