Arizona head coach Jonathan Gannon announced that Jacoby Brissett will start Sunday's game in Seattle, but Murray (foot) hasn't been ruled out from being available in a backup capacity, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

After Monday's 27-17 win over the Cowboys, Gannon had suggested that Murray will return to the starting role once fully recovered from the mid-foot sprain that has sidelined him for three straight games, but the coach seemingly did an about-face just one day later. According to John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM, Gannon said in a radio appearance Tuesday that he would have decided to go with Brissett as his starter in Week 10 even if Murray was 100 percent healthy. Gannon made no declarations on his plans at quarterback beyond Week 10, but if Brissett continues to lead the offense effectively in Seattle like he has in his previous three starts, he could have a chance at retaining the job moving forward, regardless of Murray's status. Murray had been a limited practice participant throughout Week 9 prep, but it's unclear how close he might be to fully putting the foot injury behind him. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Murray has consulted with multiple specialists and was provided estimated recovery timelines ranging from 4-to-8 weeks. With that loose timeframe in mind, Gannon acknowledged that Murray could still be a candidate for injured reserve, despite not being officially ruled out for Week 10.

Brissett's performance has seemingly created a quarterback controversy in Arizona, though Gannon tried to end that chatter with a clear statement that Murray remains atop the depth chart. Murray has yet to record a full practice since suffering a mid-foot sprain, so it remains unclear if he'll be ready to return Week 10 against Seattle.

Murray (foot) is listed as inactive Monday at Dallas, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Murray hasn't been able to upgrade to full participation in practice due to a mid-foot sprain that he initially suffered Week 5 against the Titans, and he'll now be sidelined for a third straight game while Jacoby Brissett continues to lead the Cardinals offense and Kedon Slovis serves as the backup. Murray's next chance for game action is this coming Sunday at Seattle.

Coach Kevin O'Connell said Monday that Jones' right shoulder is "sore" following Sunday's 27-24 win over Detroit, but the Vikings received "positive news early on" and will see if the running back can increase his activity level as the week goes on, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.

Jones thus seems to have a chance to play this coming Sunday against the Ravens after suffering what he described as an AC joint sprain Week 9, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Jones was running well before exiting in the third quarter, racking up 98 yards from scrimmage on 11 touches, while fellow RB Jordan Mason accounted for 11 touches for 37 total yards. Wednesday's injury report may provide a baseline for Jones as he seeks to miss no additional time.

Jones, who exited Sunday's 27-24 win over the Lions, suffered an AC joint sprain in his shoulder, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

According to Pelissero, the belief is that the running back's injury issue is minor, and Jones thinks he'll be able to play next weekend against the Ravens. With that in mind, Ben Goessling of The Minnesota Star Tribune relays that coach Kevin O'Connell noted that Jones' shoulder will be evaluated further, while adding that the team is "hoping to get some good news" on that front. In the event that Jones is forced to miss time, however, fellow RB Jordan Mason would be in line to see added touches, as he did when Jones was on IR with a hamstring injury.

Jones hurt his shoulder during Sunday's contest in Detroit.

After a three-yard run at the start of the third quarter, Jones went to the medical tent and has remained there since then. He was sitting on nine carries for 78 yards and two catches (on two targets) for 20 yards at the time he exited. Jordan Mason is poised for more work for as long as Jones is on the sideline.

Montgomery rushed 11 times for 40 yards and a touchdown and brought in two of four targets for 10 yards in the Lions' 27-24 loss to the Vikings on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.

Montgomery outpaced Jahmyr Gibbs by two carries and was the only one of the two to get into the end zone, doing so via a two-yard run early in the second quarter. The veteran back also short-circuited a drive in the third quarter, however, as he lost a fumble that was recovered by the Vikings at the Lions' 34-yard line and led to a Minnesota touchdown five plays later. Montgomery and Gibbs figure to continue in their usual timeshare when the Lions face the Commanders on the road in Week 10.

Rodgers completed 25 of 35 passes for 203 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Colts. He added two rushes for zero yards.

Rodgers completed 24 of 36 pass attempts for 219 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 35-25 loss to Green Bay.
