The Clemson product has seen his production from the pocket take a hit in 2025, as he is currently sporting a completion percentage worse than the 60 percent mark from his rookie year. While the unexpected rushing production was well received, Lawrence simply isn't doing enough as a passer (nine touchdowns to six picks) to warrant a consistent starting spot in standard formats. The 5-3 Jaguars will face a stiff test against the Texans' stingy defense next Sunday.

Jacksonville announced that Lawrence is dealing with an illness, but his status for Sunday's game against the Raiders is unaffected, and he remains on track to start, J.P. Shadrick of the Jaguars' official site reports.

While fantasy managers who are planning on using Lawrence in Week 9 lineups can probably still feel comfortable doing so, the fact that he's under the weather could result in him playing at something less than 100 percent health coming out of the Jaguars' Week 8 bye. In addition to battling the illness, Lawrence will have to make do without one of his top pass catchers in rookie wideout/cornerback Travis Hunter (knee), who was surprisingly moved to injured reserve Friday and will now miss at least four games.

Flowers recorded four receptions on six targets for 75 yards in Sunday's 27-19 win over the Vikings.

Flowers continued in his typical role, dominating targets and production among the Baltimore pass catchers. He logged long receptions of 27 and 22 yards, his third consecutive game with at least one catch of at least 20 yards. While Flowers is Lamar Jackson's most reliable target, he has not reached 80 receiving yards or found the end zone since Week 1.

Flowers led the Ravens across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets after also setting the pace in all three categories during Sunday's win over the Bears. He was back to working with Lamar Jackson on Thursday after the latter's three-game absence due to a hamstring injury, and the third-year receiver now has at least five receptions in five consecutive contests. Flowers next takes aim at the Vikings secondary in a Week 10 road matchup on Sunday, Nov. 9.
