Although Detroit's D has been friendly through the air, they've been staunch against opposing rushing attacks. The Lions are letting up just 97 yards per game on the ground (third-fewest) and the fifth-least fantasy points per game to RBs (19.1). Still, in a game with the highest over/under of the week (57) -; there should be plenty of offense to go around. The 30-year-old ranks as RotoBaller's PPR RB13 in Week 18.

Jones could get a questionable tag going into Sunday night's game if he's limited again on Friday, but we're expecting him to suit up and play his usual number of snaps as Minnesota's starter. At worst, Jones will be a low-end RB1 in fantasy. He had 14 carries for 93 yards and a TD in the first meeting against Detroit.

If Jones is active, he'll be a top-10 fantasy RB with many teams resting their starters in the Week 18 regular-season finale.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown had a modest showing in the team's 41-7 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Brown caught three passes for 36 yards but salvaged his fantasy output with a touchdown, marking his third consecutive game finding the end zone. This week, Brown took a backseat to fellow wideout DeVonta Smith, who led the Eagles in targets, receptions, yards, and touchdowns. While Brown's yardage total was underwhelming, his consistent presence in the red zone has been a bright spot for fantasy managers. The Eagles will look to close the regular season strong in Week 18 when they host the New York Giants.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown (knee) will aim to build on his recent performance when the Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys in Week 17. Brown earned a season-high 15 targets in last week's game, as backup quarterback Kenny Pickett leaned heavily on Browntargeting him on over 60% of his passes, showing trust in the star receiver. Despite opening this week on the injury report, Brown was cleared to play on Sunday. The matchup against Dallas is promising, as the Cowboys have given up the ninth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season. Known for his dominance in man coverage, Brown could exploit a defense that struggles in this area. Dallas ranks 22nd in pass defense, allowing 223.7 passing yards per game, and has surrendered 23 passing touchdowns in 2024. Regardless of who is under center for Philadelphia, Brown remains a WR1 in Week 17.

As long as the 27-year-old can practice again on Friday, though, there's a good chance he'll be removed from the final injury report entirely. Fantasy managers shouldn't really be all that concerned about Brown's knee, but rather quarterback Jalen Hurts' head, as he remains in the concussion protocol and is in danger of missing this weekend's game. Brown's value as a high-end WR1 in fantasy could take a significant hit if backup QB Kenny Pickett (ribs) is forced to make his first start of the year against Dallas. Still, even after Hurts left last Sunday's loss to the division-rival Washington Commanders early, he still finished with eight catches on a season-high 15 targets for 97 yards and a touchdown.

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) missed practice all week and has officially been ruled out for the Week 18 regular-season finale on Saturday against the division-rival Baltimore Ravens. Njoku will end up missing three of the final four games of the 2024 season and finish with 64 receptions for 505 yards and five touchdowns in 11 starts after making his first Pro Bowl in 2023. While Njoku's numbers were a disappointment after what he did last year, his numbers were still good enough to make him a weekly TE1 in fantasy despite Cleveland's ongoing struggles at the quarterback position. The 28-year-old should remain in the TE1 picture in fantasy heading into next year despite questions about whether Deshaun Watson (Achilles) will even be the starter under center. Jordan Akins will have a bigger role yet again in Week 18 and will be a TE2 sleeper in DFS lineups.

In what is expected to be a blowout loss to the Ravens, backup tight end Jordan Akins could rack up some notable garbage production this weekend if Njoku is inactive. In the Week 17 loss to the Miami Dolphins, Akins had season-highs in catches (six), targets (eight) and receiving yards (49).

According to Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN, Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) will not practice again on Wednesday. Njoku was also listed as a non-participant during Tuesday's estimated report. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his status during Thursday's practice as he could be in danger of sitting on Saturday. Over his past five contests, Njoku has averaged a strong 15.4 PPR points per game. During this stretch, he has tallied 50.0 yards per game while seeing 10.8 targets per game. If Njoku were to miss his second-straight contest, Jordan Akins would get the starting nod once again. Akins would be viewed as a desperation TE2 and a high-risk play in DFS, as he has only seen more than four targets in one game this season.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. set season highs in targets and receptions in Sunday's 45-33 loss to the Giants, hauling in nine of 10 targets for 109 yards and a score. With the Colts playing from behind all day, it was the intermediate-to-long-range pass catchers who benefitted from the unexpected game script as Indy tried to play catch-up. It was the fifth time in the last six games that the 27-year-old recorded at least seven targets and five receptions, but only the second time he's gone over 100 yards receiving all season, the other instance coming back in Week 4. With as poorly as this passing attack has looked, there are surely managers who saw this production on their bench, but for those who had the foresight to play the former second-round draft pick, he surely helped teams to fantasy championships. For anyone still playing next week or thinking about DFS options, the Colts get a favorable home matchup against the Jaguars, but monitor to see who is under center for the Colts as Joe Flacco will make the receivers better plays than if it is Anthony Richardson (back, foot).

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. is coming off of a quiet showing in Week 16, catching just two of three targets for 19 yards, however, outside of teammate Josh Downs, all Colts pass catchers suffered in last week's matchup as Anthony Richardson completed just seven passes on the day with Jonathan Taylor doing all of the heavy lifting for the offense. Prior to that game, Pittman Jr. had no less than seven targets or five receptions in four consecutive contests heading into Week 16. This Sunday, the Colts are eight-point favorites against the Giants who have been tough against wide receivers, allowing the fourth-fewest fantasy points to WRs on the season, but have been bottom third in the league in yielding production to RBs, so look for the offense to run through Taylor again. There is also uncertainty as to who will be under center for the Colts as Anthony Richardson (back, foot) missed practice all week, so it could be veteran Joe Flacco in his stead. With Flacco at QB earlier this season, the numbers indicate Downs was the 39-year-old's preferred target. As such, regardless of who is throwing the ball, Pittman Jr. projects as a risky Flex play this week with fantasy championships on the line.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. caught 2-of-3 targets for 19 yards and no touchdowns in a 38-30 win over the Titans on Sunday. With Jonathan Taylor running wild on the Tennessee defense, quarterback Anthony Richardson wasn't tasked with airing it out much in this one, completing only seven passes in the game. Josh Downs returned to being the "preferred" receiving option in this one, logging three catches on four targets, but both receivers probably have a similar chance to lead the receiving corps next week. In Week 17, the Colts will take on the Giants, a defense that has been good at limiting fantasy production to receivers but one of the worst against running backs, so look for Taylor and Richardson to carry the load again next Sunday. That likely leaves Pittman Jr. as a dicey WR3/4 option with fantasy championships on the line.

Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane finished with his second-worst fantasy output of the season Sunday at Cleveland, gaining 25 rushing yards and catching only two passes for another 13 yards in the 20-3 victory. The electric back was a victim of circumstances outside of his control, as the Miami offense shifted into survive-and-advance mode without starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (hip). Cleveland keyed on Achane and dared quarterback Tyler Huntley to beat them, and the backup did just that, completing 22 of 26 passes, leading the team with 52 yards rushing, and accounting for two second-half touchdowns. Unfortunately for managers who relied up Achane in the championship round, the quarterback change was awful timing. Miami has not yet revealed which quarterback will start in Week 18 against the New York Jets.

Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane becomes a risky RB2/high-end flex option if Tua Tagovailoa (hip) is unable to play this afternoon. Tagovailoa was initially listed as questionable but was then downgraded to doubtful on Saturday. Achane has been enjoying an impressive stretch of performances over his past six contests averaging a stellar 21.4 PPR points per game. Over this span he has seen 13.0 rushing attempts per game and brought in 5.7 receptions per game. However, when Tagovailoa missed time earlier this season with a concussion, Achane saw his production drop significantly. During Weeks 3 through 5, the sophomore back averaged a mere 5.8 PPR points per game. While redraft managers may not have a strong pivot, DFS players should consider fading Achane, especially at his hefty salary.

Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane looks to continue fantasy dominance in the championship week. The 23-year-old has been one of the most consistent running backs all season and is one of, if not the most essential piece in Miami's offense in 2024. Week 17 proposes a matchup with a Cleveland Browns defense that has been primarily stout against opposing running backs. They rank ninth in fantasy points, 12th in rushing yards, and third in receiving yards per game to the position. However, the conditions for this game are less than ideal, with a 50% chance of rain and projected wind gusts of 25+ mph at kickoff in Cleveland, Ohio. This should mean more opportunities for Achane to combat the harsh conditions. He should be started and considered a solid RB1 option, as usual. He comes in as the RB9 in the Week 16 RotoBaller rankings.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs looks to keep up the momentum following a voluminous Week 17 to the Packers' Week 18 contest with the Chicago Bears. Doubs led the Packers with 11 targets in Week 17's loss to the Minnesota Vikings and brought in seven of those targets for 58 yards. Over the last seven games since the Packers' Week 10 bye, the Packers have focused more on a ground-and-pound approach with Josh Jacobs leading the charge, but even with the passing volume lacking, Doubs still maintained a solid target floor last week. If Doubs continues to get featured with the status of Christian Watson (knee) up in the air, that should make him the most desirable Packers pass-catcher. However, that only equates to flex-level fantasy value in Week 18 against the Bears.

With the Packers' regular season finale in Week 18 where they will host the Chicago Bears, Doubs should be considered a low-end flex option for fantasy managers.

Doubs tends to disappear in games but with Christian Watson (knee) questionable heading into Week 17's game, that could open up more opportunity for Doubs. The Vikings have given up the most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this season, but with Doubs being a question mark from a target-earning perspective, he's merely a low-end flex play for Week 17.

According to the team, New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry (foot) remained a limited participant during Thursday's practice. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his status during Friday's practice as he could carry a questionable tag if he cannot upgrade to full participation. Last weekend, the veteran tight end had a disappointing showing as he could not bring in any of his two targets. This was the first time all season he was held without a reception. However, during Weeks 11 through 16, Henry caught 5.2 passes per game while tallying 49.2 yards per game. If Henry can turn the corner in time for Sunday's game, he should be viewed as a low-end TE1 in PPR formats facing a Buffalo Bills defense that has allowed the 16th-most PPR points to opposing tight ends.

Both figures are season-lows, and it was the first outing he did not record a catch all year. That he could at least practice in a limited capacity is a boon to his outlook for Week 18. However, seeing him elevate his practice status over the next few days would be good. The Patriots will host the visiting Buffalo Bills in a divisional clash this Sunday. As the game is meaningless for both squads, it's possible that if the veteran TE is closer to the wrong side of questionable, he's rested anyway. Keep an eye on him as the week closes out.
