Prescott completed 23 of 38 passes for 294 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 34-26 loss to the Vikings. He added one rush for two yards.

Prescott led the Cowboys' offense effectively for most of the game, but the unit continuously stalled in the red zone. The team managed only two touchdowns, both of which came on the ground, on five trips inside the red zone. That led to Prescott's third scoreless game of the season, and he also fell short of 300 passing yards for the first time in his last three matchups. Prescott's track record suggests he'll bounce back in Week 16 against the Chargers, but he'll draw another tough matchup.

Prescott completed 31 of 47 passes for 376 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions while adding three rushes for 14 yards in the Cowboys' 44-30 loss to the Lions on Thursday night. He also threw a two-point conversion pass and committed a fumble recovered by Dallas.

Prescott lost CeeDee Lamb to a concussion early in the third quarter, but that didn't deter the standout signal-caller from a season-high yardage total on his way to his third straight 300-yard game. Game script also worked toward supporting a heavy-volume night for Prescott, whose number of pass attempts was his second highest of the season. Prescott connected with eight different targets overall, and Ryan Flournoy (42 yards) and Jake Ferguson were on the receiving end of his one touchdown pass and two-point conversion toss, respectively. Prescott and his teammates will continue their quest to eventually punch a postseason ticket in a Week 15 Sunday night home clash against the Vikings on Dec. 14.

Kamara (knee/ankle) was a non-participant in Wednesday's practice.

Kamara has yet to practice since he sustained a sprained MCL in Week 12, but the fact that coach Kellen Moore already has ruled out fellow RB Devin Neal (hamstring) for Week 16 action, per Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune, would seem to indicate Kamara may be on the brink of a return to action. In order to do so, though, Kamara likely will need to mix into drills Thursday and/or Friday. Evan Hull and Audric Estime are the only healthy backfield options on the Saints' active roster at the moment.

Kamara (knee/ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Carolina.

Devin Neal topped a 70 percent snap share in both of the past two weeks while filling in for Kamara. The rookie should get a similar workload this Sunday, with Audric Estime and Evan Hull in reserve.

Elliott made his only field-goal try and went 4-for-4 on extra-point attempts in Sunday's 31-0 win over the Raiders.

Elliott made the most of his only field-goal attempt, converting a 27-yarder in the second quarter. The kicker had missed a field-goal try in each of the previous three games, so Sunday's performance snapped that streak. Elliott has now gone 17-for-22 on field-goal tries, including 4-for-7 from 50-plus yards, while making 35 of 36 PATs over 14 contests this season.

Elliott connected on 4-of-5 field goals and made his sole extra point attempt in Monday night's 22-19 loss to the Chargers.

Elliott's longest kick of the night was a 54-yarder that cut the Eagles' deficit to four points late in the third quarter. The kicker overall had a good night, with the only stain on his stat line being a 48-yard miss before halftime. The nine-year veteran has had a rough stretch, missing a field goal in his last three games. Elliott moves to 16-for-21 on FG tries and 31-for-32 on extra-point attempts this season.

Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said Wednesday that Tagovailoa will act as the emergency No. 3 quarterback during Sunday's game against the Bengals, Omar Kelly of the Miami Herald reports.

Miami plans to bench Tagovailoa for Sunday's game against the Bengals and start rookie Quinn Ewers at quarterback instead, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel suggested Tuesday that he's considering benching Tagovailoa for the team's Week 16 game against the Bengals, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports. "The quarterback play last night was not good enough," McDaniel said. "So for me, everything is on the table."
