Hampton is set to lead the Chargers backfield moving forward in the wake of Najee Harris' season-ending torn Achilles, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.

Harris suffered the non-contact injury with 5:12 remaining in the first half of Sunday's win against the Broncos, and Hampton ended up getting most of the RB reps the rest of the way, finishing with 19 carries for 70 yards and one touchdown and six catches (on seven targets) for 59 yards. Hampton's output as a receiver helped him set a new career high in yards from scrimmage, and the TD marked the initial end-zone visit of the rookie first-round pick's career. Behind Hampton, Los Angeles has Hassan Haskins on the active roster and Kimani Vidal and Amar Johnson on the practice squad, meaning the team likely will add to the position group sooner than later. However, this is Hampton's backfield for the foreseeable future.

Hampton exploded in a major way, but only after Najee Harris suffered a non-contact Achilles injury that is expected to keep him out all year. The rookie ran with a burst that had been missing early in season, but he still finished under 4.0 yards per carry as the Broncos keyed in on stopping the run in the second half. Hassan Haskins and Kimani Vidal will likely see some platoon work to replace Harris in the coming weeks, but it was encouraging to see Hampton immediately fill the void as a pass-catching back given he profiles as the obvious best option currently on the roster.

Hampton carried the ball eight times for 24 yards and caught one of his two targets for an additional yard in the 20-9 win over the Raiders on Monday.

There wasn't a whole lot of positive takeaways for the rookie in this one. One week after leading the backfield in touches, Hampton split the carries evenly with Najee Harris at eight apiece, and the veteran also chipped in with two receptions for 20 yards. Perhaps more crucially, a botched handoff on the Chargers' penultimate possession directly led to a fumble which gave the Raiders a modicum of life, and then Harris finished the ensuing series to ice the game. Hampton could turn things around Week 3 against a Broncos defense that just allowed 215 total yards to Jonathan Taylor.

St. Brown hauled in seven of eight targets for 77 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 38-30 victory over Baltimore.

St. Brown carried over the momentum from his standout three-score game against the Bears last week into Monday's tilt, where he posted prototypical WR1 numbers on the road against the Ravens. The 25-year-old shook his assignment with a double move in the third quarter to hit pay dirt for the fourth time this season. The star wideout also chipped in an assist that will not show up in the box score when he pitched the ball to Jahmyr Gibbs on a fourth-down option play that resulted in a touchdown for his teammate. St. Brown will boast a pristine 20-237-4 receiving line heading into a Week 4 matchup against Cleveland on Sunday.

St. Brown brought in nine of 11 targets for 115 yards and three touchdowns while adding two rushes for seven yards in the Lions' 52-21 win over the Bears on Sunday.

St. Brown comfortably led the Lions in receptions and targets while edging Jameson Williams for the top spot in receiving yards as well. While his speedy teammate got that runner-up spot largely via a 64-yard chunk play, St. Brown chipped away at the Bears secondary throughout the afternoon with short and medium gains, including touchdown grabs of four, eight and four yards. The two-time All-Pro's breakout performance was a welcome departure from his modest 4-45-0 receiving line Week 1 against Green Bay, and St. Brown's contributions figure to be critical again when the Lions tackle the unenviable task of a road trip to Baltimore for a Week 3 Monday night showdown with the Ravens on Sept. 22.

Doubs brought in both targets for 25 yards in the Packers' 13-10 loss to the Browns on Sunday.

Doubs' final line was a emblematic of a tough day for Jordan Love overall against the Browns' aggressive defense. The veteran wideout is expected to see elevated volume in some games while Jayden Reed (IR, collarbone/foot) remains out, but Sunday's game environment didn't allow for such a boost. However, Doubs could be exponentially more involved when the Packers travel to Dallas to face the Cowboys in a Sunday night Week 4 clash that presents as a much more favorable matchup.

Doubs was third in both targets and receptions on the night for the Packers, tying with running back Chris Brooks in the latter category. The veteran wideout saw Jayden Reed exit the game in the first quarter due to what was labeled as a shoulder injury at the time, but Doubs saw only one more target than he had Sunday against the Lions. Nevertheless, Doubs managed to record a five-yard touchdown grab in the opening period to give his fantasy production a much-needed boost, and he'll be due for an expanded role beginning with a Week 3 road matchup against the Browns on Sunday, Sept. 21 due to Reed having been diagnosed with a broken collarbone, per Zach Jacobson of 247Sports.com.

Bates went 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts and made all five of his extra-point tries in Monday's 38-30 win over the Ravens.

Bates missed a 67-yard field goal wide left as time expired in the first half, which would've been a new NFL record. The kicker rebounded in the second half, making a much more manageable 45-yarder in the fourth quarter. Bates has now gone 4-for-6 on field-goal tries, with both misses coming from 50-plus yards, over three games this year.

Bates was rather busy in Week 2 as the Lions dominated Chicago at home, but he wasn't perfect in the contest. Through two games in 2025, the 26-year-old has gone 3-for-4 on field goals and a spotless 8-for-8 on PATs.

Browning completed 19 of 27 passes for 140 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions and rushed once for three yards in the Bengals' 48-10 loss to the Vikings on Sunday.

Browning appears set to take over as Cincinnati's starting quarterback for at least several weeks, with Joe Burrow (toe) slated to undergo surgery and expected to be facing a three-month recovery timetable, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.

Browning replaced an injured Joe Burrow (toe) in Sunday's comeback win over the Jaguars. He completed 21 passes on 32 attempts for 241 yards and two touchdowns and ran for the game-winning touchdown. He also threw three interceptions.

Head coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that Johnson "probably" won't be returning kickoffs against the Patriots in Week 3, Brooke Pryor of ESPN reports.
