Through two games, the Steelers have established an identity as a team looking to run the ball and play shut-down defense, which does bode well for Harris' opportunities going forward. His fantasy value, however, will be limited without more frequent trips to the red zone. Harris will look to score his first touchdown of the season at home against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3.

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris dominated touches out of the backfield in Week 1 and should be primed for another heavy workload against the Denver Broncos on Sunday. The Broncos surrendered the third-most fantasy points to running backs in 2023 and the fourth-most to the position just last week. Because Pittsburgh has very few proven weapons in the passing game, it makes sense for offensive coordinator Arthur Smith to lean on the run, especially in this matchup. Jaylen Warren is likely to be given more opportunities as he continues to work his way back from injury, but Harris can be counted on as a volume-based RB2 with some touchdown upside against Denver.

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris handled 20 carries for 70 yards and hauled in one of his two targets for nine yards in a Week 1 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. Harris operated in a workhorse role on Sunday but should expect to lose some touches to Jaylen Warren, who had just returned from a hamstring injury, as the season progresses. Nonetheless, the 26-year-old Harris looked solid, especially on a powerful run that picked up 20 yards in the fourth quarter. However, Pittsburgh's offense will need to find a way to get the ball in the end zone for Harris to become a worthwhile fantasy option, making it difficult to trust him as anything more than a flex play heading into a Week 2 bout with the Denver Broncos.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua (knee) could miss between five and seven weeks depending on how fast and how well his PCL recovers, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Nacua is coming off a historic rookie season and caught four passes for 35 yards early in last week's season opener. Now, he'll be forced to miss some time while Cooper Kupp commands an even greater share of targets on offense. Tight end Colby Parkinson and receivers Demarcus Robinson and Tyler Johnson should help fill the void left by Nacua heading into a pivotal stretch of games.

When asked if the team's Week 6 bye will help get Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua (knee), and offensive linemen Steve Avila (knee) and Joe Noteboom (ankle) back after only missing the required four games while on Injured Reserve, head coach Sean McVay said, "They each have unique injuries that as of right now could keep them out longer than that." The Los Angeles Rams officially placed wide receiver Puka Nacua (knee) on Injured Reserve on Wednesday. The team announced early in the week that he would go on IR, but it is now official, and he must sit out at least the next four games. It's an unfortunate development for Nacua and his fantasy managers who took him in the first or second round of preseason fantasy drafts following a 105-catch, 1,486-yard, six-touchdown season as a rookie. He will be first eligible to return following Los Angeles' Week 6 bye leading up to the matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7. While he's out, Cooper Kupp, who saw 21 targets in Week 1, should continue to dominate targets. However, wideouts Demarcus Robinson and Tyler Johnson and tight end Colby Parkinson will see increased opportunities. In deep leagues, Tutu Atwell might be worth stashing.

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore had a relatively quiet night by his usual standards despite making some impressive plays. He led the team with six catches for 53 yards but could not find the end zone. Through two games this season, Moore remains the favorite target of rookie quarterback Caleb Williams. Although the lack of touchdowns is a concern, Moore's high volume of targets has helped mitigate the absence of scoring. The Bears' offensive line is also a concern, as Williams was sacked seven times in this game. Williams has yet to throw a touchdown pass and has not surpassed 200 yards in either of his first two games. Despite these struggles, Moore's consistent target share and talent keep him a low-end WR2 for fantasy managers. As Williams continues to develop and the Bears' offense improves, Moore's production should rise. The Bears will look to make adjustments and find the end zone as they head to Indianapolis in Week 3.

With fellow wide receivers Keenan Allen (heel) and Rome Odunze (knee) not practicing and listed as questionable, Moore is poised for an increased target share. The Texans will be fielding rookie corner Kamari Lassiter alongside Derek Stingley, and Moore will likely test the rookie's coverage. The Texans' defense allowed a league-high 9.5 Net Yards per Attempt in Week 1, suggesting opportunities for explosive plays. Their vulnerability was evident in their game against the Colts, where Alec Pierce and Ashton Dulin caught long touchdown passes. Moore, known for his ability to capitalize on deep passes, averaged 14.2 yards per catch over his seven-year career, and he had five different games in 2023 in which he averaged over 16 yards per reception. If the offensive line can provide adequate protection, expect quarterback Caleb Williams to target Moore deep and frequently, mainly if Allen and Odunze are limited or sidelined. Cincinnati Bengals kicker Evan McPherson had a productive game for fantasy managers in the Week 2 meeting against the Chiefs. After making one kick in the Week 1 loss to the Patriots, the 25-year-old had four on Sunday, including a 53-yarder in the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, a missed extra-point attempt would prove costly, with the Chiefs winning the contest by one, thanks to a field goal from Harrison Butker as time expired. At any rate, McPherson is one of the best kickers in the National Football League, meaning he deserves starting consideration in all fantasy lineups when the Bengals meet the Commanders in the Week 3 Monday Night Football matchup.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence had a decent day yardage-wise, but couldn't find the end zone in an 18-13 loss to the Cleveland Browns. He finished with 14 completions and 220 yards on 30 attempts, and 45 rushing yards on two attempts. Lawrence has just one passing touchdown through two games, which is not ideal for both real and fantasy football. The Clemson product has not looked great through two weeks, and he is not getting much fantasy production out of his weapons either. The Browns have a great defense going back to last year, especially against the pass, so it is not that surprising Lawrence had a subpar performance, but his fantasy floor needs to be higher than this to be starting caliber. The former top pick seems like a potential cut candidate for fantasy managers in Week 3, especially with his matchups remaining difficult in the coming weeks. The Jaguars face the Buffalo Bills next Monday night, a defense that should pose another challenge for the Jacksonville offense.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence struggled in Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins. He had 161 passing yards and one touchdown, producing a measly 11.3 fantasy points. In Week 2, Lawrence faces the Cleveland Browns, a defense that held Dak Prescott to 11.5 fantasy points last week. The Browns defense is known for a great pass rush and elite secondary, which allowed the least passing yards per game in the NFL last year. It may be easy for fantasy managers to see 33 points allowed in Week 1 by the Browns and think they should start the Jaguars QB, but context is important. After an Ezekiel Elliot rushing touchdown with five minutes left in the second quarter, the Cowboys didn't score a single offensive touchdown. Similarly, the Jaguars scored zero points entirely in the second half against the Dolphins. Lawrence is firmly entrenched as a QB2 this week, meaning managers should look to the waiver wire to find a higher upside option.

The impatient move would be to drop him, but one bad performance isn't enough to warrant that. However, managers should move Lawrence to the bench next week, where he faces a tough Browns secondary in Week 2.

Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin continued his slow start to the 2024 campaign as he recorded a mere 22 yards in their Week 2 victory over the New York Giants. However, McLaurin saw a team-high eight targets and caught six of them. Jayden Daniels continued to show signs of growth as a passer as he looked downfield more often this week but could not find McLaurin on those plays. Instead, receivers Noah Brown and even tight end Zach Ertz connected on deeper passes. While McLaurin's start to the season has been frustrating, fantasy managers should continue to view him as a WR3 with upside, given his track record of success in the league. As Daniels progresses as a passer, McLaurin's fantasy output will rise. McLaurin should remain in your lineup as he will face the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night in what could be a high-scoring affair.

Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin had a disappointing season debut, as he caught just two passes for 17 yards (on four targets). He could not find a connection with his rookie QB as the Commanders' passing attack could not get untracked. In fact, Daniels overthrew the Ohio State product on a potential 70-yard score on the opening play of the second half. Despite the frustrating debut, fantasy managers should continue to start McLaurin in all formats. Even playing with sub-par QBs throughout his career, McLaurin has posted four straight 1,000-yard campaigns and only caught less than 70 passes in one season (his rookie campaign). This week, McLaurin will face a Giant defense that could not contain Sam Darnold in Week 1. The 28-year-old is a solid WR2 in all formats on Sunday.

Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin had a disappointing season debut, as he caught just two passes for 17 yards. McLaurin was targeted four times (tied for the team high) and missed a potential 70-yard score on the opening play of the second half as Jayden Daniels overthrew him. Daniels could not find a consistent rhythm as a passer on Sunday afternoon, which greatly hindered McLaurin's fantasy day. Fantasy managers should not be overly concerned with the Ohio State product's stat line, as it may take a few weeks for them to get on the same page. McLaurin should remain a solid low-end WR2/high-end WR3 entering their Week 2 matchup against the New York Giants.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs had a solid day given the lack of passing volume afforded to the Packers' pass-catchers in their 16-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2. Doubs caught all three of his targets for a team-leading 62 receiving yards, capped by a 39-yard strike from starting quarterback Malik Willis early in the fourth quarter. With the Packers only dropping back to pass 19 times and throwing only 14 times, the pass-catchers didn't have too much to work with thanks to the game plan by head coach Matt LaFleur to lean heavily on the run game and an opportunistic defense that forced three turnovers. Doubs and the Packers will head southeast to Nashville to play the Tennessee Titans in Week 3, but Doubs will merely be a flex play in fantasy.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs will enter Week 2 with a much different quarterback situation than he for sure anticipated. With Malik Willis the likely starting quarterback for Week 2 against the Indianapolis Colts, the entire pass-catching group for the Packers will be downgraded in fantasy, including Doubs. Running the most routes per dropback, most snaps and targets in Week 1, Doubs' production will be at the whim of how the Packers choose to attack the Colts' defense. That will likely be a heavy dose of the running game to protect Willis, who has not shown much in the way of passing efficiency in his third season as an NFL quarterback. Doubs is a low-end FLEX option for fantasy managers, where you're hoping he can get into the end zone.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs put together a modest fantasy effort in the Packers' 34-29 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil on Friday night. Doubs led the Packers in targets with seven, catching four of those targets for 50 yards. Of the group of wide receivers, Doubs ran the most routes on the team and also led the receivers with an 87% snap share, per Nathan Jahnke of PFF. Even though Doubs ran the most routes and earned the most snaps, he's still a bit of a risky proposition to start in fantasy, especially with a potential Jordan Love injury at the end of Week 1 to factor in. The utilization for Doubs makes him a bit safer as a player you know will be on the field a ton, but with that safety comes the fact that Doubs was a bit touchdown-dependent last season. Consider Doubs a low-end WR3 for fantasy in Week 2 if Love is the starter at quarterback.

Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth came down with all four of his targets for 39 receiving yards in a Week 2 victory over the Denver Broncos. It was fellow tight end Darnell Washington who scored Pittsburgh's first touchdown of the 2024 campaign, but Freiermuth continued to operate as a reliable weapon for quarterback Justin Fields. In its current state, the Steelers' offense doesn't offer much for fantasy managers to get excited about, but it's clear that Freiermuth has a significant role as one of the top pass-catchers on the roster. The 25-year-old will look to generate more production with his opportunities when facing the Los Angeles Chargers at home in Week 3.

Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth was somewhat quiet to start the 2024 campaign but will be looking to build chemistry with quarterback Justin Fields in a Week 2 bout with the Denver Broncos. This is the perfect matchup for Freiermuth to take advantage of as the Broncos surrendered the most fantasy points to opposing tight ends last season. Furthermore, lockdown cornerback Patrick Surtain II will likely be assigned to receiver George Pickens for most of the contest, which could result in additional opportunities for Freiermuth. Pickens and Freiermuth were the only two Steelers to earn more than two targets in Week 1. Pittsburgh's offense is difficult to get excited about, but fantasy managers should be intrigued by Freiermuth as a low-end TE1 on Sunday.

Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth turned four targets into four catches for 27 yards in a Week 1 win against the Atlanta Falcons. His statistical output won't jump off the page but Freiermuth trailed only George Pickens in targets, receptions, and receiving yards for the Steelers on Sunday. With MyCole Pruitt and Darnell Washington also combining for three targets, it's clear that tight ends will play a prominent role in offensive coordinator Arthur Smith's system this season. With no wide receiver outside of Pickens earning more than two opportunities this week, Freiermuth could very well be the second option in the Steelers' passing attack moving forward. Fantasy managers can consider starting the 25-year-old in an enticing matchup against the Denver Broncos next week.
