Wilson struggled through the air, only throwing for 205 yards on 37 pass attempts while also throwing an interception and no passing touchdowns. The Steelers are on a three-game losing streak and will look to steer the ship as they head into the playoffs next week as either the division winner or, more likely, a Wild Card team. This week, the Steelers will host the Cincinnati Bengals, who allow the fifth most points to opposing quarterbacks on the season, making Wilson a low-end QB1 play in Week 18.

After a solid start to his tenure in Pittsburgh, Wilson is 0-3 over the past three weeks with at least one turnover in each contest. He'll hope to end the regular season on a positive note next week against the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson has been the QB20 in fantasy since Week 14 and faces a tough challenge on Christmas Day against the Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City has surrendered the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks over the past eight weeks. On a positive note for Wilson, Pittsburgh's top receiver George Pickens (hamstring) reportedly has a good chance to return from a three-week absence on Wednesday. Wilson has seen a significant dip in his fantasy output without Pickens as the Steelers' offense has struggled to push the ball downfield. If Pickens is indeed active, Wilson will have some upside in this contest, but he is still best viewed as a low-end QB2 for fantasy purposes.

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. put up 75 total yards on 16 touches in a 20-13 victory over the Tennessee Titans. The 25-year-old back out of Clemson finished with 15 carries for 49 yards and one catch for 26 yards. Etienne Jr. once again got a larger share of backfield touches than teammate Tank Bigsby. The even split throughout the season has greatly limited each player's fantasy value, and that didn't change in Week 17. The passing game was surprisingly more efficient in this game, with Etienne Jr. and Bigsby both averaging around three yards per carry. Mac Jones also tossed two touchdowns including one from two yards out, while the running game couldn't find the end zone. Overall, Etienne Jr. has been one of the most disappointing fantasy players this season. The Jaguars face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 18.

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. is a decent start, but not ideal in Week 17 against the Tennessee Titans. The 25-year-old back gets a slight boost in PPR, as his role while playing with Tank Bigsby seems to be the passing down back along with a random number of carries. Given how the Jaguars have oscillated between who gets more touches out of the backfield, it is hard to trust both Etienne Jr. or Bigsby. For example, when the Jaguars faced the Titans in Week 14, Etienne Jr. only got four carries, but the following week he got 14. The volume just isn't there for him to have much upside, making him not a great option for teams competing for a championship. While he has a chance for a decent fantasy day, Etienne Jr. is not an ideal flex option in Week 17.

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. was out-touched by teammate Tank Bigsby and didn't do much with the touches he got in a 19-14 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. The 25-year-old back finished with nine carries for 22 yards and two catches for 15 yards. Etienne Jr. was overshadowed by Bigsby, who received 12 carries, caught one pass, and averaged 4.2 yards per carry compared to Etienne Jr.'s 2.4 yards per carry. Etienne Jr. had been more involved in the passing game the last few games, but his involvement dropped across the board in Week 16. Given the hot-hand approach the Jaguars seem to be using, it is hard to trust him in any must-win fantasy matchup. Etienne Jr. will look to be more involved in Week 17 when the Jaguars face the Tennessee Titans.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Jalen McMillan has stepped up and delivered for this offense over the last few weeks. The rookie wideout came alive in Week 14 and hasn't looked back since then. McMillan now carries a four-game touchdown streak into the Week 18 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. The 23-year-old has also hauled in five receptions for 50 yards or more in each of the last four games. McMillan is playing solid football right now and that should continue during Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints. He'll get a banged up secondary and he has already emerged as a reliable red-zone threat. Fantasy managers should strongly consider sticking McMillan in their DFS lineups given his recent success. Otherwise, McMillan should be treated as a WR2 for fantasy managers in championship games.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie wide receiver Jalen McMillan continued his impressive late-season surge during Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers. The rookie wideout hauled in all five of his targets for 51 yards and two touchdowns in the win. McMillan now has six touchdowns over his last four games after having one total touchdown heading into Week 14. Fantasy managers are finally getting production out of the rookie wideout at the best time of the season. McMillan might sneak onto the WR2 radar for the Week 18 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Jalen McMillan has finally decided to show up during the final stretch of the regular season. The rookie wideout hauled in five of his seven targets for 57 yards during last week's loss to the Dallas Cowboys. McMillan has finished with four receptions or more while surpassing 55 receiving yards in each of his last three games. The Bucs are down a few wideouts, so expect McMillan and Mike Evans to see plenty of targets against the Carolina Panthers this weekend. The rookie wideout has scored four touchdowns over his last three games. He has clearly become a viable red-zone option for this team. Fantasy managers should consider McMillan a WR3 for this Week 17 matchup.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (elbow) has officially been ruled out for Sunday's Week 18 regular-season finale against the division-rival Arizona Cardinals. Purdy suffered a right-elbow contusion at the tail end of the Monday night loss to the Detroit Lions on Monday night. While the injury isn't considered serious and Purdy should have a normal offseason, the Niners will hold him out in a meaningless game to close out the year. With Purdy sidelined, backup Joshua Dobbs will make his first start under center this year. The 25-year-old Purdy wasn't able to replicate his breakout 2023 season for San Fran, but he was still solid for fantasy purposes (QB10 overall heading into Week 18), especially when considering he was without All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey (knee) and receiver Brandon Aiyuk (knee) for most of the year.

San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch said it was a medical decision to sit quarterback Brock Purdy (elbow) for the Week 18 regular-season finale against the division-rival Arizona Cardinals this Sunday and also downplayed the signal-caller's injury. "It's nothing more than when you hit your funny bone. When you get an NFL helmet in the wrong place it irritates the nerve. Brock is going to be fine. It's going to quiet down," Lynch said. The 25-year-old injured his elbow late in the Monday night loss to the Detroit Lions and hasn't practiced yet this week. With the Niners already eliminated from the playoffs, there's just no reason for the team to throw Purdy out there against Arizona. Veteran Joshua Dobbs will get the start instead. Entering Week 18, Purdy is the QB10 in overall fantasy points, although his 2024 was a step down from his breakout in 2023.

Although Purdy's injury is considered minor and he hasn't officially been ruled out yet, the Niners have already announced that backup Joshua Dobbs will get the start in a meaningless Week 18 regular-season finale against the division-rival Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. Expect the 25-year-old Purdy to be officially ruled out on Friday's final Week 18 injury report. If the former seventh-rounder has played his last game of the 2024 season, he'll finish with a career-low 65.9% completion percentage with 3,864 yards, 20 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 15 starts. It was a step back from his breakout in 2023, but Purdy was also missing key weapons on offense for most of the year due to injury.

Though Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn has been a top-tier fantasy option this season, he should be avoided in a dodgy Week 18 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. The veteran has an OK matchup against a Titans team that ranks right in the middle against fantasy kickers, but he comes with risk due to Houston's playoff positioning. The Texans already have locked down the AFC South and the No. 4 seed, so Sunday's results have no effect on them. Houston head coach DeMeco Ryans said he intends to start the team's regulars, but with much bigger fish to fry next week and nothing to gain Sunday, he certainly will be thinking ahead. As a result, Fairbairn's DFS value in Week 18 has to be tied to the likelihood he will be attached to a second-string offense at some point in the game.

An already great fantasy season for Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn has a chance to be even better with a superb matchup against Baltimore in Week 17. The 30-year-old is the overall No. 3 at his position, and in the Super Bowl week for many fantasy leagues, he'll take on a Ravens team that ranks 29th against fantasy kickers. Fairbairn has a whopping 11 top-10 finishes among kickers this year and already has set the NFL record for most made field goals from beyond 50 yards. There's never a guarantee with kickers, but managers have to like this strong matchup at a great time.

Carolina Panthers head coach Dave Canales said on Monday that quarterback Bryce Young and the team's other starters will play in Week 18 against the division-rival Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. "We have one more week to finish strong," Canales said. The Panthers were eliminated from postseason contention a while back, but their regular-season finale isn't without playoff implications. If the Panthers knock off the Falcons, they will eliminate them from a chance to win the NFC South. Aside from playing spoiler, the Panthers would also like to finish strong after a nice second-year bounce-back season from Young and the offense under a new coaching staff. The 23-year-old former first overall pick got off to a horrendous start and was benched for Andy Dalton after two games. But since returning, Young has been serviceable and a top-10 fantasy QB. Carolina will look for more growth in Year 3 in 2025.

Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young completed 15 of 28 passes for 203 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions during Sunday's Week 17 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also took five sacks and rushed for eight yards. Although the Panthers were blown out by a score of 48-14, Young was able to play turnover-free football and add two touchdowns to his 2024 stat line. We would have liked to see a higher completion rate from the former No. 1 pick, but he still showed numerous flashes of upside, including an impressive 40-yard touchdown strike to Adam Thielen. Young has thrown for a touchdown in every game since returning from his midseason benching, specifically totaling 15 scores and six interceptions during that nine-week span. He will be a mid-to-high fantasy QB2 for Week 18 against the Atlanta Falcons, but he could jump up to the low-end QB1 tier if the Panthers beef up their wide receiver corps during the next offseason.

Carolina Panthers second-year quarterback Bryce Young has looked much better late in the season after being benched early on for veteran Andy Dalton. While Young is on the rise heading into a Week 17 divisional matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, he'll be without star running back Chuba Hubbard (calf, knee), who was placed on Injured Reserve. Outside of that, though, Young is set up nicely in his second meeting against a Tampa defense that has allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing QBs in 2024, including 4,004 passing yards and 24 total touchdown passes. In the first meeting against the Bucs on Dec. 1, Young had a season-high 298 passing yards and a touchdown in the overtime loss. In the last five weeks, Young has been a top-10 fantasy QB with 1,255 passing yards, six touchdowns and three picks. He's still a QB2 in fantasy, but there's reason to believe he could have another decent game.

New York Jets running back Isaiah Davis rushed for 35 yards on three carries and added an eight-yard reception in a Week 17 loss to the Buffalo Bills. The rookie running back will look to finish his debut season on a high note in a home matchup against the Miami Dolphins in Week 18. The Dolphins have been tough on opposing running games this season, allowing the 13th-fewest fantasy points per game to the position thus far. Davis has shown flashes in limited work this season but he is not a recommended fantasy play as the No. 3 back behind Breece Hall and Braelon Allen this weekend.

New York Jets running back Isaiah Davis carried the ball three times for 35 yards and caught his lone target for an eight-yard gain in a 40-14 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 17. Davis averaged an impressive 11.7 yards per carry in his limited work while outperforming Braelon Allen for the third straight game. The Jets have nothing left to play for, which means there's an outside chance they could shut down starting running back Breece Hall heading into a Week 18 matchup against the Miami Dolphins, making Davis an interesting preemptive waiver add in fantasy leagues with championships that run through the regular-season finale.

New York Jets running back Isaiah Davis carried the ball three times for 12 yards in a 19-9 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 16. Davis dealt with a back injury throughout the week but came into the game without an injury designation and mixed in behind Breece Hall and Braelon Allen in the low-scoring loss. Davis' emergence has clouded the handcuff situation for the Jets as both he and Allen saw three touches behind Hall's 19 against LA. Davis is worth stashing in deep leagues moving forward just in case. The Jets will head on the road to face the Buffalo Bills in Week 17.

Week 17 was Pickens' first game back from a hamstring injury that kept him sidelined from Weeks 14-16. Pickens and the struggling Steelers offense will look to bounce back with a strong performance in Week 18 as they host the Cincinnati Bengals, who rank middle of the pack against opposing wide receivers. Pickens caught three passes for 74 yards and a touchdown in his previous game against the Bengals in Week 13. The Steelers have already clinched a playoff spot. However, they want to steer the ship in the right direction before the playoffs start, as they are on a three-game losing streak heading into this matchup. Although fantasy managers that deployed Pickens in his return were likely let down by this performance, he should still be viewed as a solid WR2 against the Cincinnati Bengals in any leagues that compete in Week 18.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens (hamstring) is off the injury report and good-to-go for Wednesday's matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. The top wideout in the Steel City has been sidelined for the past three games with a hamstring injury. While he was sidelined, Calvin Austin III and Van Jefferson saw an uptick in opportunities. Before the injury, Pickens was enjoying a nice string of performances with Russell Wilson under center. Since Wilson took the starting job in Week 7, Pickens had averaged a strong 16.0 PPR points per game with 81.2 yards per game. This was a nice improvement over the 10.2 PPR points he averaged during the first six games of the campaign. He should be locked into all lineups as a WR2 on Wednesday facing the Chiefs who have allowed the 15th-most PPR points to opposing wideouts this season.
