Additionally, neither quarterbacks Russell Wilson nor Justin Fields is worth the hefty price that would come with a franchise tag for a QB. However, Pittsburgh could consider using the transition tag on Wilson or Fields that would give them the ability to match another team's offer. RB Jaylen Warren will also be a restricted free agent, so the Steelers RB room could look quite different in 2025. Harris has over 1,000 yards rushing in all four of his NFL seasons and has started all 68 games, but he's lacked explosiveness by averaging 3.9 yards per carry on his 1,097 rushing attempts. Friday, February 21, 2025 11:12 AM ESPN's Dan Graziano puts the odds at 75 percent that the Jacksonville Jaguars cut wide receiver Christian Kirk (collarbone) this offseason. Kirk has one year left on his current deal and is scheduled to make $16.5 million in 2025. However, he's coming off a season-ending broken collarbone and has seen his production decline the last two years due to injuries, and the Jaguars have a new head coach and offensive system and will have a new general manager soon. They also signed Gabe Davis last offseason, and Brian Thomas Jr. took over in 2024 as a legitimate No. 1 wideout. Cutting Kirk would save $10.4 million in 2025 salary cap space. Other potential cap cuts to free up money are receiver Josh Reynolds ($4 million) and tight end Evan Engram ($6 million). It's highly unlikely Jacksonville cuts both Kirk and Engram this offseason. Moore would leave behind just $467,819 in dead money. The 24-year-old former second-round pick (54th overall) in 2022 out of Western Michigan has really struggled in his three years in the NFL and hasn't earned much of a role on offense. The Chiefs can also create more salary cap space this season by converting a large chunk of quarterback Patrick Mahomes' $32.3 million roster bonus into a signing bonus. Moore dealt with an abdominal injury in 2024 that landed him on Injured Reserve for the majority of the regular season, and he wasn't able to return in the playoffs. He played in just six regular-season games and didn't record a single catch. Moore has 43 catches for 494 yards and one TD in 36 games to this point. Skyy Moore Ruled Out For Super Bowl Sunday, February 9, 2025 5:10 PM According to the team, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Skyy Moore (abdomen) will not suit up for the Super Bowl. Moore was able to practice during the week in a limited capacity but carried a doubtful tag on the final injury report. The third-year wideout was unable to turn the corner in time. During the regular season, Moore played in just six games and did not catch a pass. He saw just three total targets and only logged more than 15 offensive snaps in one game. As a result, fantasy managers should expect rookie Xavier Worthy and tight end Travis Kelce to lead the Kansas City Passing attack. DeAndre Hopkins, Marquise Brown, and JuJu Smith-Schuster will also see targets in this game. Worthy led the way in their Conference Championship victory over the Buffalo Bills as he tallied over 100 yards with a touchdown and should be viewed as the top option in the wide receiver room.
