Barkley ran the ball 22 times for 88 yards and a touchdown while catching both of his targets for six yards in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Chiefs.

Barkley set the tone on offense for Philadelphia by scoring the game's first touchdown in a rematch of Super Bowl LIX. The 28-year-old superstar went on to average 4.0 yards per tote while leading his club in yards from scrimmage (94). The recent trade for RB Tank Bigsby didn't affect Barkley's workload, as the only other rusher to record any carries was veteran backup AJ Dillon (3-19-0). Barkley will look to extend a modest two-game scoring streak to open the season when the Eagles host the Rams next Sunday.

Barkley rushed 18 times for 60 yards and a touchdown and brought in four of five targets for 24 yards in the Eagles' 24-20 win over the Cowboys on Thursday night.

In what was his first taste of game action since the Super Bowl victory over the Chiefs in February, Barkley often found running room hard to come by against a game Cowboys front seven. While the defending rushing champion's longest run of the night was only 16 yards, Barkley still made an impact via a 10-yard rushing touchdown shortly before halftime, as well as some productive work as an outlet receiver. Barkley was outgained in rushing yards by Jalen Hurts (62 yards), but that should be a rare occurrence moving forward. Another marquee matchup awaits Week 2, as the Eagles visit the Chiefs for a Super Bowl rematch on Sunday, Sept. 14.

Godwin (ankle) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

He practiced for the first time last Thursday before returning to non-activity Friday. Godwin's second instance of official practice participation is a positive sign, but reports earlier this month suggested he's unlikely to play before October and is being kept on the active roster only to practice and ramp up with teammates (rather than being restricted to a side field while on an injury list). The Buccaneers, however, haven't said anything of the sort publicly, instead waiting for the final injury report to rule Godwin out in Weeks 1 and 2.

Coach Todd Bowles said Saturday that Godwin (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game at Houston, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

Godwin logged his first practice reps Thursday since sustaining a dislocated left ankle Week 7 during the 2024 campaign, but he followed up that limited session with no activity Friday before Bowles made a ruling on his availability for Week 2. His next chance for game action arrives Sunday, Sept. 21 against the Jets, but he may need to practice on back-to-back days in order to put himself in a position to make his season debut. Mike Evans and rookie first-round pick Emeka Egbuka will continue to serve as the primary wide receivers for quarterback Baker Mayfield until Godwin is cleared to return.

Godwin (ankle) didn't practice Friday.

Godwin was limited Thursday in his first practice since suffering a dislocated left ankle Week 7 of last season, signaling that he was beginning to ramp up his conditioning. His next step in that regard likely will be taking part in drills on back-to-back days, which, because it didn't happen this week, may be an indication that he isn't a great candidate to return to action Monday at Houston. Ultimately, Tampa Bay can make a decision on Godwin's status for that contest when it posts its final Week 2 injury report Saturday.

McLaughlin missed his only field-goal attempt and made two PATs in Monday's 20-19 win over the Texans.

McLaughlin once again connected with the upright in Week 2, missing a 38-yard field goal in the third quarter. The kicker has now missed two field goals and one extra-point try over the first two games of the year, and he'll look to get back on track in the team's Week 3 matchup with the Jets on Sunday.

McLaughlin went 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts and 2-for-3 on his extra-point tries in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Falcons.

McLaughlin missed a 44-yard attempt wide left in the third quarter and then doinked an extra point off the left upright near the end of the fourth quarter that would have put the Bucs up by four points. Instead, it left the door open for the Falcons to potentially tie the game late, though Younghoe Koo missed a 44-yard field goal with six seconds left. McLaughlin figures to be busy this season in the Bucs' high-powered offense. He made 30 of 32 field-goal tries last season and 54 of 56 extra-point attempts.

Perine didn't have any carries or targets on offense but had six kick returns for a combined 154 yards, with a long of 37 yards, in Sunday's 31-27 win over Jacksonville.

Perine caught both of his targets for six yards in Sunday's 17-16 win over the Browns.

Stevenson rushed 11 times for 54 yards while catching all five of his targets for 88 yards in Sunday's 33-27 win over the Dolphins.

Stevenson rushed seven times for 15 yards and brought in two of three targets for 12 yards in the Patriots' 20-13 loss to the Raiders on Sunday.

Pittman recorded four receptions on five targets for 68 yards in Sunday's 29-28 win over the Broncos.

Pittman secured six of eight targets for 80 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' 33-8 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.

Brown hauled in all five of his targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Eagles.

Brown brought in 10 of 16 targets for 99 yards in the Chiefs' 27-21 loss to the Chargers on Friday night.
