Williams completed 25 of 42 passes for 330 yards and two touchdowns, adding 18 rushing yards on five attempts in Sunday's 42-38 loss to San Francisco.

Williams was locked into a shootout with the 49ers' Brock Purdy (303 yards, five total touchdowns) with both signal-callers coming through with big fantasy performances. For Williams, Week 17 marked the first time in 16 starts in which he eclipsed 300 passing yards in a single game. The improving sophomore quarterback had an opportunity to throw a third score and win the game in the closing moments Sunday, only to watch his pass come up short of a fully extended Jahdae Walker in the end zone as time expired. Williams has now thrown multiple touchdown passes in four consecutive starts, with an increased yardage total in each game.

Williams completed 19 of 34 passes for 250 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Saturday's 22-16 overtime win over the Packers. He added three rushes for 30 yards.

This game followed a similar script to the first contest between the Packers and Bears, though Williams completed the improbable comeback this time around. He attempted only nine passes in a disjointed first half, but he led touchdown drives on consecutive possessions to end the game, which Williams concluded with passing scores of six and 46 yards. He was able to hit on big plays throughout the contest, as his five completions of at least 20 yards matched his season high and led to his highest yardage total as a passer since Week 9. Williams has also recorded multiple touchdowns through the air in four of his last five games after doing so only three times in his first 10 contests.

Hunt (illness) did not practice Thursday, Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com reports.

Hunt will miss a second straight practice due to an ailment he's managing. Unless he's able to resume practicing in full Friday, it looks like the veteran running back will be assigned an injury designation for Sunday's season finale against the Raiders. Isiah Pacheco could get a chance to handle a workhorse backfield role in Week 18 if Hunt can't go.

Hunt (illness) did not practice Wednesday.

Hunt handled his usual backfield split alongside Isiah Pacheco during Kansas City's 20-13 loss to Denver on Christmas Day in Week 17, rushing seven times for a team-high 38 yards. The veteran is facing a chance to close out the year on a positive note with a favorable matchup against the Raiders on deck for Sunday, but he'll first need to get healthy from his current ailment. Hunt will have two more chances to retake the practice field ahead of Sunday's regular-season finale.

Hunt rushed seven times for 38 yards in the Chiefs' 20-13 loss to the Broncos on Thursday.

Hunt logged two fewer carries than backfield mate Isiah Pacheco but outgained him by six yards, while neither back had any involvement in the passing game. Hunt saw a significant resurgence from a forgettable Week 16 showing against the Titans, when he'd netted only two rushing yards on three carries. Hunt will look close out the campaign on a positive note and eclipse 40 rushing yards for the first time since Week 13 when the Chiefs visit the Raiders in Week 18.

McMillan (illness) caught one of four targets for five yards in Sunday's 27-10 loss to the Seahawks.

The standout rookie landed on the injury report Sunday morning due to an illness, and McMillan didn't look like himself as he set a season low in receiving yards. The eighth overall pick in the 2025 Draft still sits 71 yards short of reaching 1,000 for the year, and McMillan could be very busy in Week 18 against the Buccaneers with the NFC South, and a playoff spot, on the line with a Carolina win. Note that the Panthers can also win the division if the Falcons win their next two games, no matter what Carolina does in the finale.

McMillan (illness) is active for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The star rookie was a late addition to the injury report Sunday morning with an illness, but despite the questionable tag, he was always expected to suit up. McMillan has taken over as the Panthers' No. 1 wideout this season, collecting multiple receptions in all but one appearance thus far, and he has five touchdowns over his past five games, including a career-high 8-130-2 line in Atlanta during Week 11.

The Panthers expect McMillan (illness), who is listed as questionable, to play Sunday against the Seahawks, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.

The Panthers added the wideout to their Week 17 injury report Sunday, but David Newton of ESPN.com relays that McMillan's addition was precautionary. Either way, confirmation of McMillan's status is set to arrive before the first wave of games Sunday, with Carolina kicking off at 1 p.m. ET.

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said Thursday that Love has cleared the NFL's concussion protocol but that Clayton Tune will start at quarterback for Sunday's regular-season finale on the road against Minnesota, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.

Love (left shoulder/concussion) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said Wednesday that Love (shoulder/concussion) will practice but remains in the NFL's five-step protocol for brain injuries, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Davis caught his lone target for 12 yards and rushed once for four yards during Sunday's 13-12 loss to the Eagles. He added 84 kick-return yards on three attempts.

Davis rushed three times for 14 yards and caught both of his targets for 20 yards during Sunday's 23-20 win over the Browns. He also returned four kickoffs for 92 yards.

Brooks carried the ball three times for 10 yards and had one catch for nine yards late in the Bengals' win over the Cardinals on Sunday.

Demercado turned five carries into 11 yards and gathered in two of three targets for nine yards during Sunday's 37-14 loss at Cincinnati.

Demercado carried five times for 30 yards and failed to haul in his lone target in Sunday's 26-19 loss to the Falcons.

Prater (quadriceps) is listed as a full practice participant Wednesday.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott said Friday that Prater (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.

Prater (quadriceps) was labeled as a non-participant in Wednesday's practice walkthrough.
