Bills head coach Sean McDermott said Thursday that Allen will not suit up for Saturday's preseason opener against the Giants, Matt Parrino of The Syracuse Post-Standard reports.

Allen will rest Saturday while backup Mitchell Trubisky gets the start at quarterback, though McDermott said the rest of the starters will play roughly a quarter, per Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site. It remains to be seen how much action Allen, who signed a six-year, $330 million contract extension with Buffalo this offseason, will see in the team's two remaining preseason contests.

Taylor is not in line to play in Thursday's preseason opener against the Ravens, Stephen Holder of ESPN.com reports.

The same applies to starting WRs Michael Pittman and Josh Downs, among others, though the Colts do plan to give their top two QBs, Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones, reps in the contest. Taylor's next chance to see game action will be Saturday, Aug. 16 against the Packers.

Jeanty rushed three times for minus-1 yard and wasn't targeted in Thursday's 23-23 preseason tie against the Seahawks.

Jeanty produced a forgettable stat line in his highly anticipated Raiders debut. His first carry went for three yards on the opening drive, and Jeanty stayed in for the start of the second drive even as Geno Smith gave way to backup Aidan O'Connell under center. Poor blocking contributed to Jeanty being stuffed on his next two carries for a combined minus-4 yards. Jeanty's prolific production at Boise State led to him being drafted sixth overall, but the talented rookie could be held back to some extent by poor offensive line play on a Vegas team that went 4-13 last season, even if Jeanty works in a three-down role out of the gate. He'll look to pick up the pace Aug. 16 against the 49ers in the Raiders' second preseason game.

Myers connected on a 48-yard field goal and made two of three extra-point tries in Thursday's 23-23 tie versus the Raiders.

Last season, Myers hit 86.7 percent of his field-goal attempts, ranking 12th in the league among kickers who played at least 10 games. He also finished 24th by making 92.5 percent of his extra-point tries. Myers has been a mostly steady starter for the Seahawks, and he still has plenty of leg at 34 years old, evidenced by a 59-yarder last season.

Hall (undisclosed) returned to Tuesday's practice a few minutes after leaving the field to talk with trainers, Connor Hughes of SNY.tv reports.

Johnson (foot) is not participating in practice Thursday, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Kyle Monangai got most of the second-team carries at Tuesday's practice, with Johnson then coming in at the goal line, Mark Carman of CHGO Bears and WGN Radio reports.

Higgins saw one incomplete target on two drives in Thursday's preseason opener at Philadelphia.
