Hurts completed 23 of 38 passes for 280 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions and added two rushes for three yards in the Eagles' 21-17 loss to the Broncos on Sunday.

Despite the Broncos' standout secondary and the fact they held a lead for a significant portion of the game, the Eagles curiously took a pass-centric approach Sunday, affording Saquon Barkley a scant six carries. Hurts recorded season highs in completions, pass attempts and passing yards, while also recording multiple touchdown tosses for the third consecutive game by connecting with Dallas Goedert (two yards) and Barkley (47 yards) in the second and third quarters, respectively. However, Hurts also took a season-high six sacks, and he threw incomplete on back-to-back plays from the Broncos' 29-yard line to finish the game. Hurts was also much less involved than usual as a runner, but he draws an excellent matchup on a short week when the Eagles visit the Giants on Thursday night to kick off Week 6.

Hurts completed 15 of 24 passes for 130 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions while adding nine rushes for 62 yards in the Eagles' 31-25 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday. He also fumbled once but recovered.

The Eagles' air attack was back to low-volume mode Sunday, despite the Buccaneers eventually making matters interesting in the second half. Hurts had his share of misfires against an aggressive Tampa Bay defense, but he connected on two nifty touchdown passes to Dallas Goedert at the shadow of the goal line and also mustered a team- and co-season-high rushing yardage total. After not throwing a touchdown pass in either of the first two games of the season, Hurts has bounced back to toss five in the last pair of contests, and he's yet to throw an interception despite a couple of close calls Sunday. Hurts will take on the unenviable task of facing the Broncos defense when Denver pays a visit next Sunday afternoon for a Week 5 interconference showdown.

Lamb (ankle) officially has been ruled out for Sunday's contest at the Jets, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.

Lamb has yet to practice since suffering a high left-ankle sprain Week 3 at Chicago, but he resumed rehab work on the field as of Wednesday, potentially signaling that he may be able to return to action as soon as a Week 6 matchup with the Panthers on Sunday, Oct. 12. With KaVontae Turpin (foot) also out this weekend, the Cowboys will rely on WR George Pickens, TE Jake Ferguson and WR Jalen Tolbert to fuel the passing game.

Coach Brian Schottenheimer said Friday that the Cowboys don't expect Lamb (ankle) to play in Sunday's game at the Jets, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

After making an early exit from a Week 3 loss at Chicago, Lamb was diagnosed with a high left-ankle sprain, which typically is accompanied by a multi-week absence. He already missed this past Sunday's tie with the Packers, but he was able to resume rehab work on the field as of this Wednesday, marking the first notable progress in his recovery effort. Ultimately, the Cowboys can make a ruling on Lamb's status for Week 5 as soon as they post Friday's injury report.

Lamb (ankle) was a non-participant at practice Thursday, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Lamb has yet to mix into drills since picking up a high left-ankle sprain during a Week 3 loss in Chicago, but he was able to handle rehab work for a second consecutive day Thursday, per Jon Machota of The Athletic. The Cowboys ruled out Lamb on their final Week 4 injury report last Friday, so a similar decision may come down once this Friday's report is posted. WR George Pickens and TE Jake Ferguson figure to be QB Dak Prescott's favorite targets for as long as Lamb is sidelined.

Butker did not attempt a field goal and went 4-for-4 on extra-point tries in Monday's 31-28 loss to the Jaguars.

Butker went without a field-goal try for the first time this season after having attempted at least two in each of the team's first four games of the year. The kicker will enter Week 6 having gone 10-for-13 on field-goal attempts, including 3-for-5 from 50-plus yards, while making 11 of 13 PATs over five contests this season.

Butker made three of four field-goal attempts and all four extra-point tries in Sunday's 37-20 win over the Ravens.

In fairness to the Chiefs' longtime kicker, his miss Sunday was from 56 yards. At the same time, he's now missed a kick in every game this season and is just 10-for-13 on field goals and seven of nine on extra-point tries in 2025. Butker will try to get back on track next Monday night against the Jaguars.

Williams rushed 14 times for 65 yards and secured eight of 10 targets for 66 yards and two touchdowns in the Rams' 26-23 overtime loss to the 49ers on Thursday night. He also lost a fumble.

Williams rushed 13 times for 77 yards and caught three of four targets for 17 yards while coughing up a fumble in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Colts.
