Tagovailoa completed 26 of 32 passes for 315 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the Dolphins' 33-27 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.

Tagovailoa and the Dolphins' offense as a whole were in dire straits over the first quarter-plus as the Patriots raced out to a 12-0 lead. Matters took a turn for the better in the second quarter when Tagovailoa hit Jaylen Waddle and De'Von Achane for touchdown passes of 18 and 29 yards, respectively. However, although Tagovailoa was able to compile some yardage in the second half, he wasn't able to lead Miami to anything other than a pair of field goals, as the Dolphins' other second-half points came from a Malik Washington 74-yard punt return touchdown. The Dolphins already have their backs against the wall at 0-2, making Thursday night's Week 3 road matchup against the Bills a critical early-season game for Tagovailoa and his teammates.

In a harbinger of the type of game it would be for the Dolphins offense and Tagovailoa in particular, the 2020 first-round pick sailed a pass intended for Tyreek Hill very high on the opening drive, leading to an interception by Camryn Bynum. The veteran signal-caller then handed the ball to the Colts again on the next possession, losing a fumble recovered by former teammate Xavien Howard. Tagovailoa would go on to short-circuit another possession with a third-quarter interception in Indianapolis territory, and only his 11-yard touchdown pass to De'Von Achane and subsequent two-point conversion pass to Julian Hill in the fourth quarter gave the signal-caller's fantasy day any semblance of respectability. Tagovailoa's first opportunity for atonement comes in a Week 2 home matchup next Sunday against a Patriots defense that allowed 362 yards to the Raiders' Geno Smith in Week 1 while playing without Christian Gonzalez (hamstring).

Singletary rushed once for four yards and caught his only target for minus-4 yards in Sunday's Week 2 overtime loss to Dallas.

In a significant development for Singletary's role on offense, rookie Cam Skattebo led New York with 11 carries and 45 rushing yards while starter Tyrone Tracy netted 51 yards on nine touches (five rushes and four receptions). Skattebo's effectiveness Sunday will likely earn him more work going forward, while Tracy isn't likely to be phased out of the offense, especially given his skill set as a receiver. That presumably leaves Singletary to fend for scraps, diminishing what was already minimal fantasy viability. Through two weeks, the veteran RB has logged just 14 offensive snaps, tallying five touches (four carries and one catch) totaling a meager nine yards.

Singletary rushed three times for nine yards in Sunday's Week 1 loss to Washington.

Singletary didn't get his first carry until the second quarter. He gained eight yards on his second rush attempt but combined for just one yard on his other two carries. Tyrone Tracy was New York's clear lead back with 50 offensive snaps Sunday, while Singletary got 10 and rookie Cam Skattebo logged eight. Both Tracy and Skattebo gathered two catches in the passing game while Singletary didn't even get targeted, so among the trio, Singletary emerged with the least encouraging performance. The Giants' ground game -- and offense as a whole -- struggled in Week 1, though, so it may take another contest or two to get a good handle on how the workload in the backfield will end up being divvied.

Slayton (groin/calf) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Slayton has played all but one of the Giants' offensive snaps through two weeks this season, though in that span he's brought in just two catches for 61 yards on five targets, with all of his production having come during Week 2's overtime loss to the Cowboys. While Slayton being limited Wednesday doesn't yet seem an indication that his status is genuinely in jeopardy for Sunday night's matchup against the Chiefs, he appears definitively positioned behind both Wan'Dale Robinson and superstar Malik Nabers in New York's wide receiver pecking order.

Slayton caught two of three targets for 61 yards in a Week 2 overtime loss to the Cowboys on Sunday.

Slayton was shut out in the first half but salvaged a decent final line with 61 receiving yards after halftime. Most of that production came on a 52-yard connection with Russell Wilson midway through the third quarter. Despite that big play, it doesn't bode well for his place in New York's WR pecking order that Slayton saw just three targets despite playing all but one of the team's offensive snaps, especially since Russell Wilson aired it out 41 times and gained 450 yards on 30 completions. It was already a given that Malik Nabers would hog the wideout targets for the Giants this season, but it's telling that Wan'Dale Robinson garnered 10 looks of his own and nabbed eight receptions for a career-high 142 yards Sunday. With just five targets (and two catches) through two weeks, Slayton doesn't appear to have established much chemistry with Wilson thus far.

Slayton (groin) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

A mid-week addition to the injury report, Slayton apparently didn't have any issues during Friday's practice. He handled a team-high 97 percent route share in last week's loss to Washington but somehow managed just one incomplete target on his 38 routes. Slayton should see more looks this Sunday but won't necessarily be featured even if Wan'Dale Robinson (questionable, ankle) doesn't end up playing.

Warren (toe) didn't practice Wednesday.

Warren logged a 93 percent snap share in Sunday's 29-28 win over the Broncos, but the tight end's absence from Wednesday's practice makes his status worth monitoring as this weekend's game against the Titans approaches. Through his first two regular-season games, the 2025 first rounder has combined for 11 catches (on 16 targets) for 155 yards.

Warren recorded four receptions on seven targets for 79 yards in Sunday's 29-28 win over the Broncos. He also logged one carry for zero yards.

Warren finished second on the team in targets behind Josh Downs, but he flashed strong playmaking ability to lead the team in yards. Warren began his performance with a 41-yard reception on the Colts' second possession and followed that up with additional explosive gains of 14 and 15 yards. He has immediately taken over as the team's top pass catcher, recording a combined 11 receptions for 155 yards in his first two games as a pro.

Warren brought in seven of nine targets for 76 yards and rushed once for three yards in the Colts' 33-8 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.

The Colts, notorious for their scant tight-end usage over the last several seasons, wasted no time getting Warren involved in his first taste of NFL regular-season action. The rookie first-round pick was targeted on three of the first five plays from scrimmage, converting those opportunities into gains of 14, eight and 21 yards. While Warren's pace would naturally slow over the rest of the game, he still finished with team-high reception and target totals while also recording the second-most receiving yards on the afternoon for Indianapolis. It's clear involving Warren will be a priority, affording the Penn State product an abundance of momentum heading into a Week 2 home matchup against the Broncos next Sunday.

Allen rushed twice for 13 yards during Jacksonville's 31-27 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.

Allen carried once for seven yards and caught his lone target for four yards during Sunday's 26-10 win against the Panthers.

Kirk (hamstring) was limited in his return to practice Wednesday.
