Mayfield has been incredible throughout most of the season, but didn't have the same success this weekend. He completed 18-of-29 passing attempts for 116 yards and one touchdown in the three-point loss. Mayfield showed heart in this game and even stiff armed his way to giving his team the lead with less than a minute left. Fantasy managers shouldn't get frustrated by this performance. Mayfield is likely to get wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) back after the bye week. The expectation is that Mayfield will resume his QB1 ways in Week 12 against the New York Giants.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (toe) will miss a second straight practice this week on Thursday, but sources are saying he will be fine to play in Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers. Mayfield apparently picked up a toe injury despite playing all of the Monday night overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The 29-year-old will likely return to practice in some capacity on Friday and will be active this Sunday as the team hosts the 49ers, who are coming off their bye. Without receivers Mike Evans (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (ankle) and with rookie Jalen McMillan (hamstring) and Sterling Shepard (hamstring, hip) also banged up, Mayfield could be operating this weekend with Trey Palmer as his No. 1 wideout. He's been leaning heavily on tight end Cade Otton in recent weeks. With how thin Tampa's receiving corps is right now, Mayfield will be a much shakier QB1 streaming option in fantasy.

Jalen Hurts A Top Three Option In Divisional Showdown

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will face off against the division-rival Washington Commanders on Thursday night football. The 26-year-old is the QB1 overall since the Eagles' Week 5 bye, averaging 28.1 fantasy points per game. His four-game streak of no turnovers came to an end early last week against the Dallas Cowboys, but Hurts was able to turn things around quickly and score four total touchdowns en route to a dominating win. Both Washington and Philadelphia's defenses have performed well over the past few weeks, but there is no reason to believe both high-powered offenses won't be trading scores back and forth the majority of the night. While some of his weapons were limited in practice in a short week, the Eagles will head into the game at full strength in that regard, making Hurts a top-three fantasy option for Week 11.

Jalen Hurts Totals Four Touchdowns In Rout Of Cowboys

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts completed 14 of 20 pass attempts for 202 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in Sunday's 34-6 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. He added two touchdowns and 56 yards on his seven carries. Hurts was sacked quite a bit in the first half, but Philadelphia molly-whopped their divisional opponent in this one -- controlling the game from start to finish. It's the fourth straight contest in which the 26-year-old scored a rushing touchdown and the third time in that stretch with more than one of them. The fifth-year QB could have had an even bigger day but was benched for teammate Kenny Pickett early in the fourth quarter with the game out of hand. It's another superb performance for Hurts, who has totaled 16 TDs with just two turnovers since the team's Week 5 bye. Philadelphia will get another divisional matchup in Week 11 when they square off against the visiting Washington Commanders.

Jayden Daniels Looks To Bounce Back In Week 11

Washington Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels should be poised to bounce back on Thursday evening against the Philadelphia Eagles. Last weekend against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Daniels scored a season-low 10.6 PPR points and tallied just 202 passing yards with no scores. However, in his previous two games, the LSU product averaged 23.8 PPR points in each contest, with 267.5 passing yards and 43.5 rushing yards in each game. Even though the Eagles have surrendered the fourth-fewest PPR points to opposing QBs, given the hefty 48.5-point total, the Commanders may need to force the ball downfield to keep up with a potent Philadelphia offense setting up Daniels for a productive showing.

When the Commanders reached the red zone, they opted to let their running backs punch in the scores. However, given his ability as a runner, fantasy managers should continue to feel confident locking Daniels into their lineup in all formats.

Murray had very few negative plays and operated the Cardinals' offense with elite efficiency, helping to end the game early. Murray and rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. got back on track, connecting for a 9-yard touchdown reception. With the Cardinals' offense firing on all cylinders and a favorable upcoming schedule, Kyler Murray is a must-start for the foreseeable future. However, fantasy managers must look to other options in Week 11, when the Cardinals are on a bye.

This led to a decrease in Murray's usage, as the Cardinals took a 21-9 lead at halftime and went into cruise control in the second half. All three of the Cardinals' touchdown drives resulted in rushing touchdowns. While this was not the outcome fantasy managers wanted to see, it shouldn't lead to panic. Kyler Murray remains a fantasy starter as the Cardinals host the New York Jets in Week 10.

Bo Nix Throws Two Touchdowns In Narrow Week 10 Loss

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix nearly gave the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs their first loss of the season but came up just short in a 16-14 loss on the road, completing 22 of his 30 pass attempts for 215 yards for two touchdowns and no interceptions. Nix was sacked two times for a loss of 33 yards and also had his worst rushing performance of the year, taking off three time for minus-five yards. He fumbled once but was able to recover. The 24-year-old held his own against a strong defense in a hostile environment and was able to avoid turnovers, but he just didn't do enough and was unable to lead Denver to any points in the second half. In the last five games, Nix has seven TDs and only two picks and continues to improve as a passer. He'll be a solid QB2 option in two-QB fantasy leagues for a Week 11 home date against the Atlanta Falcons.

Bo Nix Looking To Bounce Back Against Undefeated Chiefs

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix threw for a season-high 284 yards and three touchdowns in the Week 8 win over the Carolina Panthers before coming back down to Earth in the Week 9 blowout loss on the road to the Baltimore Ravens, when he threw for 223 yards, no touchdowns and his first interception since Week 6. While Nix has looked much better in recent weeks than he did at the start of his rookie campaign, things won't get any easier in Week 10 on the road against the undefeated and division-rival Kansas City Chiefs. KC's defense has allowed just over 200 passing yards per game in nine games in 2024 and have been middle of the pack in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing QBs. Nix actually checks in as the QB11 in overall fantasy points entering Week 10, but he should be considered more of a low-end QB2 on the road against the reigning Super Bowl champions.

Bo Nix Throws For 223 Yards, Catches Touchdown In Loss To Ravens

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix went 19-for-33 passing for 223 yards, no touchdowns and an interception in the 41-10 blowout loss to the Baltimore Ravens on the road in Week 9 on Sunday. Nix added six carries for 36 yards on the ground and added his first career receiving touchdown on a two-yard grab on a trick play at the goal line from receiver Courtland Sutton. The 24-year-old's pick was his sixth of the year but just his first since Week 6 and the second in his last seven games. His lone interception came on the team's first possession of the game and was a pass that should have been caught. Nix was still useful in fantasy because of his legs and his receiving score, but this was a disappointing showing against a defense that had struggled against the pass in 2024. The ups and downs will continue for the rookie, and it won't get any easier in Week 10 on the road against the Chiefs.

Kirk Cousins Practices In Full On Thursday

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins (elbow, shoulder) was listed as a full practice participant on Thursday after he opened the week with a limited session on Wednesday. Cousins' inclusion on the Week 11 injury report may have scared some fantasy managers, but it appears that he should be ready to go when Sunday rolls around in Denver to face the Broncos, barring a setback with his elbow and shoulder at practice on Friday. His two injuries are worth watching, though, and it could make things more difficult for Cousins this weekend against a top-five defense on the road. After coming up short against the division-rival New Orleans Saints in Week 10, Cousins heads into this week's difficult matchup as a low-end QB2 for fantasy purposes. Denver's D allows the sixth-fewest fantasy points per game to signal-callers.

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins (shoulder, elbow) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice, according to Marc Raimondi of ESPN. Raimondi noted that even though this is the first time Cousins has been on the injury report this season, "nothing seems to be concerning" regarding his availability for this weekend. In addition, seeing him participate in a limited capacity is already a promising sign. Last weekend in their loss to the New Orleans Saints, Cousins threw for 306 yards, his second-highest total of the season, but he could not find the end zone. Throughout his first season in Atlanta, the veteran QB has averaged 20.0 PPR points per game and should be viewed as a low-end QB1 in Week 11 when he faces a tough Denver Broncos defense.

Kirk Cousins Comes Up Empty Against Saints

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins threw for 308 yards on 23 of 38 passing, but failed to throw any touchdowns and tossed one interception in the 20-17 loss to the undermanned Saints. Bijan Robinson recorded both of the Falcon touchdowns on the ground, with many drives stalling and leading to four field goal attempts for kicker Younghoe Koo, only one of which he converted. There have been just two games this season in which Cousins was held without at least one TD pass, and both have come against the Saints. Now averaging 263 yards passing per game through the first ten weeks with a 17:8 TD:INT, the 36-year-old will look to get back on track next week, although it won't come easy against a strong Broncos pass defense. Look for him to be in the QB2 range in Week 11.

Saquon Barkley Looks To Rebound After Disappointing Week 10

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley will take on the Washington Commanders on Thursday night football in Week 11. The 27-year-old had a quiet Week 10 performance against the Dallas Cowboys that left fantasy managers frustrated. He failed to find the end zone and tallied 78 yards which was just the second time this year that he had fewer than 100 total yards in a game. Barkley should see more usage this week in a divisional showdown for first place in the NFC East against a Washington defense that has turned things around over the past few weeks. The matchup should not worry fantasy managers, but they do rank top 15 against opposing fantasy running backs. With all of that said, Barkley is a set-it-and-forget-it RB1 facing off against his division rival.

Saquon Barkley Quiet In Domination Of Dallas

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley (arm) rushed 14 times for 66 yards and brought in his sole target for an additional 12 receiving yards in the team's 34-6 win over their division-rival Dallas Cowboys. The long-time New York Giant wasn't needed much in this one, as Dallas had trouble getting anything going with Cooper Rush calling signals for the Cowboys offense. It's worth mentioning that Barkley missed a drive late in the first half after coughing up a fumble on a Micah Parsons tackle the drive before. Zach Berman of the team noted that the 27-year-old had a sizeable bandage on his "left wrist/forearm area" that went up to his elbow after coming out of the locker room for the start of the second half. However, he would remain in the game and rack up another eight touches until the Eagles benched their starters early in the fourth quarter. With a quick turnaround on tap for Philadelphia in a home matchup against the Washington Commanders on Thursday Night Football, fantasy managers should monitor the superstar RBs practice status through Wednesday.

After gaining nearly 200 total yards last week against Jacksonville, Barkley is in line for another strong performance against a struggling Cowboys defense.

Patrick Mahomes Narrowly Escapes With Win

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 28 of 42 pass attempts (67%) for 266 yards and a touchdown in the 16-14 win over the Denver Broncos. Mahomes had his lone touchdown in the second quarter on a two-yard pass to Travis Kelce. The Chiefs quarterback was nearly handed his first loss of the season but was saved on a last-second blocked field goal by the Kansas City defense. After two straight games with multiple touchdown passes, Mahomes was held back by the Denver defense. The Chiefs remain undefeated heading into their Week 11 matchup with the Buffalo Bills. The Bills rank seventh in fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks this season, so Mahomes may have another tough matchup next week. Mahomes had nearly 16 fantasy points in a four-point per passing touchdown format this week and has passed for over 260 yards for the fourth time in the last five games. Mahomes has not displayed the high-end fantasy quarterback play he was drafted for, but he has been more usable lately. Fantasy managers should view Mahomes as a low-end QB1 heading into Week 11.

Trevor Lawrence Ruled Out For Week 11

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said on Wednesday that quarterback Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) will not play in Week 11 against the Detroit Lions. However, Pederson is optimistic that Lawrence can play in Week 13 against the division-rival Houston Texans following the team's bye in Week 12. Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said he doesn't have anything definitive as to whether quarterback Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) will be able to play on Sunday in Week 11 versus the Detroit Lions. In addition, Pederson is unsure where talk of surgery for Lawrence surfaced. Lawrence was inactive for the Week 10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings and is dealing with an AC joint sprain in his left (non-throwing) that could keep him sidelined for the rest of the year. However, the 25-year-old former first overall pick put in some limited practices last week, leading us to believe there's a chance he'll be able to return in 2024. If he's forced to miss another game this weekend, former Patriots QB Mac Jones would make a second straight start. Jones didn't look great in the 12-7 loss to Minnesota and will be a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues for however long Lawrence is out.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence (shoulder), as expected, is officially inactive in Week 10 against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Lawrence was never expected to play this weekend after suffering an AC joint sprain in his left (non-throwing) shoulder in the Week 9 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. It was reported on Sunday morning that Lawrence could also be in danger of missing the rest of the season because of his shoulder injury. It's just the second time in the 25-year-old's four-year career that he'll be missing a game, paving the way for backup Mac Jones to make his first start of 2024. The Jaguars have a bye in Week 12, so Lawrence will probably sit out the Week 11 contest against the Detroit Lions. With Jones now leading a struggling Jaguars offense, fantasy managers should downgrade all of the Jaguars' pass-catchers.

Jared Goff Struggles In Week 10 Against Texans

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff struggled in fantasy during the team's 26-23 victory over the Houston Texans in Week 10. Goff threw for 240 yards and two touchdowns but completed just 15 of 30 passes, marking a season-low 50% completion rate. He also threw five interceptions which certainly put a damper on any solid numbers he posted this week. This was his third single-digit fantasy performance of the season and his second consecutive game with under 10 points. Despite Detroit's seven-game winning streak, Goff's fantasy output has been inconsistent and far from elite. He'll look to bounce back in Week 11 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Houston Texans defense/special teams intercepted Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff a whopping five times on Sunday, but it wasn't quite enough as the Lions came back to win on the final play of regulation by a score of 26-23. The defense did not record a sack in the defeat, during which the Houston offense failed to score in the second half after being ahead 23-7 at halftime. Houston will look to snap a two-game losing streak with a visit to the reeling Dallas Cowboys in Week 11.

Jared Goff Offers High-End QB2 Upside In Week 10 Matchup Against Texans

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff enters Week 10 against the Houston Texans offering reliable but modest upside as a fantasy play. Goff ranks second among qualifying quarterbacks in yards per attempt and seventh in fantasy points per dropback, showcasing solid efficiency throughout the season. However, Houston's pass defense has been tough at times over the last few weeks, which could encourage Detroit to lean even more on their run game. Wilson and the rest of the New York passing attack struggled against the Arizona secondary in the blowout loss as Aaron Rodgers passed for just 151 yards on 35 attempts. The slow outing for Wilson breaks a streak of five straight games with at least 61 receiving yards. Wilson now has 65 catches for 704 yards and five touchdowns through 10 games. He has a good shot at bouncing back against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 11.

New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson has been on a tear of late as he has gotten to at least 100 receiving yards in three of his past five games while notching four touchdowns over that span. Wilson will look to keep it going in Week 10 against the Arizona Cardinals on the road. The Cardinals have been a decent matchup for receivers as they are allowing the 14th-most fantasy points per game to the position thus far. The target share has really consolidated around Wilson and Davante Adams of late and that should continue to be the case in Week 10 with Mike Williams traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Allen Lazard (chest) on injured reserve. Treat Wilson as a top-six fantasy wideout this weekend.

Jets Not Expected To Move Garrett Wilson, Davante Adams

The Athletic's Dianna Russini doesn't expect the New York Jets to move wide receivers Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams and cornerback D.J. Reed by Tuesday's NFL trade deadline. The Jets have been receiving calls about the availability of Wilson and Reed lately. New York needs to do a lot of work to even be in the playoff picture by the end of the regular season, but they took a step forward by beating the Houston Texans on Thursday night to improve their record to 3-6. Wilson caught nine of his 10 targets for 90 yards and two touchdowns in the 21-13 win and is still a must-start for fantasy managers despite the recent addition of Adams. Adams also had a strong game in Week 8, going for seven receptions on 11 targets for 91 yards and a score against Houston. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers will continue to lean heavily on his top two pass-catchers.
