Jordan Love: Officially questionable to return
Saturday, December 20, 2025 9:26 PM

Love (head) is questionable to return to Saturday's Week 16 battle against the Bears.

Love was hurt midway through the second quarter after taking a helmet-to-helmet hit that drew a roughing-the-passer penalty. He spent some time being assessed on the field before heading to the medical tent and then to the locker room. If he's unable to return to action Saturday, Malik Willis would guide Green Bay's offense the rest of the way.

Dallas Goedert: Tallies another touchdown
Saturday, December 20, 2025 9:24 PM

Goedert recorded three receptions on three targets for 32 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 29-18 win over the Commanders.

Goedert took a step back from his involvement in the Eagles' offense relative to the last two games, but he still managed to make a significant impact. His primary contribution came late in the third quarter, when he hauled in a 15-yard touchdown on a long third down. Goedert's target total will likely remain inconsistent moving forward, though he has either 70 receiving yards or a touchdown in three consecutive contests.

Jordan Love: Heads to locker room after big hit
Saturday, December 20, 2025 9:21 PM

Love (head) went to the locker room after taking a helmet-to-helmet hit in the second quarter of Saturday's Week 16 matchup against Chicago, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.

Love took a helmet-to-hit from the Bears' Austin Booker that drew a roughing-the-passer penalty. After initially being tended to on the field, Love was able to jog off and head to the medical tent, and he subsequently went to the locker room (presumably for further evaluation). Malik Willis has entered the game to take over at quarterback for the Packers.

Jalen Hurts: Solid showing in win
Saturday, December 20, 2025 9:14 PM

Hurts completed 22 of 30 passes for 185 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions in Saturday's 29-18 win over the Eagles. He added seven rushes for 40 yards.

Hurts had an accurate game as a passer, but he worked primarily in short and intermediate areas of the field. Nevertheless, he managed a 24-yard completion to A.J. Brown and also tallied touchdown passes from five and 15 yards away. Hurts also showed some aggression on the ground, logging his highest rushing total since Week 4. He'll draw a tough Week 17 matchup against the Bills, though he has gotten back on track in recent weeks by tallying multiple scores in four of his last five matchups.

Josh Johnson: Steps in for injured Mariota
Saturday, December 20, 2025 9:00 PM

Johnson completed five of nine passes for 43 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Saturday's 29-18 loss to the Eagles. He also had one rush for zero yards.

Johnson has served as the Commanders' emergency quarterback of the season, but he was the backup to Marcus Mariota (hand) for this contest with Jayden Daniels (elbow) sidelined. Mariota exited the game for a concussion check and hand injury early in the third quarter, with Johnson stepping in. He was able to move Washington down the field for a touchdown during garbage time late in the fourth quarter, but it would be a significant negative for all of the team's skill-position players if Johnson is the starter for Thursday's game against the Cowboys.

Saquon Barkley: Third 100-yard rushing performance
Saturday, December 20, 2025 8:50 PM

Barkley rushed the ball 21 times for 132 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 29-18 win over the Commanders. He did not record a catch on two targets.

Barkley topped 100 rushing yards for the third time this season and for the second time in his last three games. He picked up consistent yardage for most of Saturday's matchup, but his performance turned a corner in the fourth quarter. Barkley began his final frame with a 12-yard touchdown run, and he then broke off a 48-yard gain to set up a Philadelphia touchdown two plays later to clinch the victory. His explosive rush was particularly encouraging, as it was only his fourth gain of at least 20 yards on the ground this season.

Jake Moody: Perfect in loss
Saturday, December 20, 2025 8:46 PM

Moody converted both his field goal and extra point attempt in Saturday's 29-18 loss to the Eagles.

Moody converted his 19-yard field goal attempt on the Commanders' first drive, and was only called upon once more in the game, converting an extra point attempt in the second quarter after a one-yard touchdown run by Jacory Croskey-Merritt. The kicker now moves to 6-of-6 on field goal attempts and 5-of-6 on extra-point attempts through four games as a Commander.

Jake Elliott: Poor performance in win
Saturday, December 20, 2025 8:40 PM

Elliott converted all three extra points he attempted, but missed both attempted field goals in Saturday's 29-18 win over the Commanders.

Elliott has now missed at least one field goal in four of his last five games. Saturday's misses were from 42 yards and 51 yards, respectively. The kicker now moves to 17-of-24 on the season for field goals, and 38-of-39 for extra-point tries.

A.J. Brown: Nine catches against Commanders
Saturday, December 20, 2025 8:35 PM

Brown recorded nine catches on 12 targets for 95 yards in Saturday's 29-18 win over the Commanders.

Brown bounced back after seeing only two targets in Philadelphia's Week 15 win, serving as Jalen Hurts' favorite target throughout Saturday's win over the Commanders. He didn't break one particularly long gain, but did log receptions of 24, 16 and 15 yards. After a volatile start to the year, Brown has double-digit targets in five of his last six games and has at least 95 receiving yards or a touchdown in all but one game in that span.

Chris Brooks: Active for Saturday night
Saturday, December 20, 2025 7:10 PM

Brooks (chest) is listed as active for Saturday night's game against the Bears, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.

With No. 3 running back MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) on injured reserve, Brooks will have the chance to draw rotational snaps for the Packers' run game behind starters Josh Jacobs and Emanuel Wilson. In last week's loss to the Broncos, the running back had 17 offensive snaps, which led to two rushes for 10 yards as well as two targets for a six-yard reception.
