We have just received late Saturday news that a New Orleans Saint player has tested positive for COVID-19. Being that we already have the additional free agency run currently open, we will now delay locking/processing of these waivers until Sunday, at 10 am ET. We are also unsure as to the ramifications of this very late positive test as it relates to the Saints/Lions game. If more positive tests emerge, the game could be delayed until Monday or Tuesday or even moved to a later week.
IMPORTANT: There is no guarantee that the Patriots/Chiefs or Saints/Lions play this week. The NFL could decide to move the game to a different week this season before it is scheduled to kick off Monday or Tuesday. However, this waiver run will give you the option to back up a player like Patrick Mahomes, Drew Brees, Alvin Kamara, Harrison Butker or a team defense. It's up to you if you choose to do so.
This will be the final chance to add players for Week 4. There will be no first-come, first-served free agency. |
