The biggest weekend of drafting has arrived, players! And here's why you need to jump in the Main Event (maybe more than once): Selling out is going to be next to impossible, so this potentially represents a significant overlay in the competition this year as our prize structure is guaranteed regardless of entries.

The FFPC live events scheduled to take place from September 10th-12th have been moved to the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, too. Draft-A-Thon Launches Today

The 2020 Footballguys Players Championship Labor Day Draft-A-Thon is off-and running today, players! This year, the FFPC and Footballguys are donating $50 for each Draft-A-Thon league that goes off this weekend to the Harbor House Domestic Abuse Shelter, an organization that is committed to the awareness and prevention of domestic abuse. They do everything in their power to keep individuals and families safe through knowledge and connection. Now you can enjoy a draft and help out a lot of people who need it at the same time.

The 2020 FPC is not only filling up faster than ever, but it features a guaranteed prize pool with a $500,000 grand prize and over $3,000,000 million total prize pool. That's right--we've doubled the grand prize to $500,000! The 2020 FPC contest is capped at 10,800 teams. All prizes are fully guaranteed. At $350 per team, can you afford NOT to play in this competition?

Here are all the details on this year's competition:

• Drafts going off daily
• $3,100,000 prize pool (Up $800,000 from last year)
• Teams are $350 each (or a three-pack of teams for $1000--save $50!)

First Waiver Wire Runs Tonight

TONIGHT at 10:00 p.m. ET is your cutoff to get your free agent bids in for the first waiver wire run of the season for any Footballguys, Classic and/or Victory Points league that concluded on or before yesterday. The waivers will then process overnight, but the players will not show up on your roster until roughly five hours later at about 3 a.m. We scheduled this as not to overload our servers when we have so many live drafts still going on until a little after 2 a.m.

The next waiver wire run will be Wednesday for all Footballguys and classic satellite leagues that conclude on or before next Tuesday. As a friendly reminder for all online Main Event drafts this weekend, your first waiver wire run will be this Wednesday.

• The FFPC and Footballguys Players Championship offer two preseason blind bidding waiver runs.
• Waivers will process, Friday, August 30th (TONIGHT) at 10 pm ET.
• The next waiver period will process on Wednesday, September 4th.
• ALL Main Event, Footballguys Players Championship, FFPC Classic, FFPC Dynasty, FFPC Victory Points, and FFPC Best Ball Plus leagues that drafted on or before today will get a preseason waiver wire on Wednesday, September 9th.
• Bidding is open right now and closes just before 10 pm ET tonight.

Free agency pages may be accessed by logging into your account. Then on your MyTeams page, click on "Leagues", then "Team", then "Create Bid Group" (which is the white button in the middle of the page).

General FFPC Waiver Tips:

• You can only get one player per bid group. If you want multiple players, you need multiple bid groups and I suggest different drop players as well.
• To bid, go to your FFPC MyTeams page on myffpc.com. Then click the blue link to go to your league home page. Then go to the navigation link TEAM, then CREATE BID GROUP about 1/4 of the way down the page.
• Each team starts with $1,000 bidding dollars. Those $1,000 are all that a team gets for the entire season, so please bid wisely. Any bidding dollars spent tomorrow will count towards the season's total.

The next waiver wire run will be Wednesday for all Footballguys and classic sats that conclude on or before next Tuesday the 8th.

The 2020 FFPC Terminator Tournament is going on now with a guaranteed $25,000 grand prize! This is truly a unique way to play fantasy football and we’re proud to call it an FFPC exclusive, especially since it now has a $116,000 prize pool as well. The Terminator concept was created in 2009, and it is actually quite simple. By adding just a few tweaks to the standard Best Ball format, it completely alters it and creates this brand new structure that has proven to be exciting and challenging.
