The 2021 Footballguys Players Championship is running hot as we enter August, but we once again want to make it even more worth your while to draft during the week. So our promo to give away three FREE 2021 FPC teams to you is back and it's starting NOW:
Who Is Eligible: Anyone who registers and drafts a team in the Footballguys Players Championship from Monday, August 2nd through Thursday, August 5th. (Slow drafts must start prior to August 6th to be eligible.)
Prizes: Three winners will be randomly selected and announced Friday, August 6th. Each winner will receive (1) FREE FPC credit valued at $350. Winners will be contacted by email.

Opening Game FFPC Roster Update
As a reminder, players, and to confirm and questions you may have had on this subject, all Main Event and Footballguys Players Championship teams, whether drafting before or after the NFL's Week 1 opening game on Thursday, will be able to submit and edit their starting lineup after Thursday’s game, including starting and benching players that played in Thursday’s game.
In other words, alll Main Event and Footballguys Players Championship teams will have the same choice on whether to start or sit Thursday players retroactively after they have watched that game. Fantasy stats for Thursday’s players will count towards Week 1 scores if they are placed in the starting lineup.
All Thursday players from the NFL's Week 1 can be dropped during Sunday waivers, but they MUST be moved to the bench first. If a player is in your starting lineup on Thursday, he can retroactively be moved to the bench and then will be eligible to be dropped. If the player is not moved to the bench and is left in the starting lineup when waivers run, that player will NOT be eligible to be dropped.
Week 1 is the ONLY week in which this will be allowed. Starting Week 2, there will no longer be retroactive lineups, and Thursday players may be dropped if--and only if--they are on the bench. If they are in your starting lineup, that player will be LOCKED into the starting lineup. This rule applies to all Main Event and Footballguys Players Championship Leagues, regardless of draft date.
