Overview

The FantasyPros Championship (FPC) is a fantasy football game of skill that offers guaranteed cash awards to its top entrants. This contest will test a participant’s ability to predict player performance both over time and on a weekly basis, as well as to value certain players and positions within the framework of our scoring system, place appropriate bids on free agents based on the relative future value to the entrant’s team and create a balanced fantasy team that will maximize scoring output over the length of the season. FPC award winners are determined based on the criteria listed in the rules below. All references to FPC below refer to the FantasyPros Championship.

FantasyPros Championship drafts will be held as online drafts ONLY, scheduled to begin March 2024. Current draft schedule may be seen here. Additional draft dates & times may be added.

How to Enter

Entry fee into the FPC is $350 per team. To register, entrants may complete our online entry form and agree to abide by the official rules and regulations governing the FPC. Upon completing the online entry form, a credit card payment for the full entry amount must be made to reserve a team. After registering and making payment, a link to the FPC league will appear on the participant’s MyTeams page for entry into their respective league.

Multiple teams may be owned by a single owner: owners may purchase a 3-Pack of teams for $1,000 ($50 savings). Owners may not own two or more teams in the same FPC league.

Early Bird Incentive & Deadline

Register for the FPC by June 15, 2024 and draft your team no later than June 30, 2024 to receive a FREE $35 team credit toward any $35-entry FFPC league (For slow FPC drafts, simply register by June 15 to qualify). Maximum of three (3) $35 team credits are given per person or account regardless of teams purchased or drafted by Early Bird deadline. $35 credits will be added to a player’s account immediately after the qualifying FPC league fills. To be eligible for $35 credit, FPC teams must be purchased with cash funds. FPC credits are not eligible for the promotion.

Changing Draft Dates

Teams which register early may be able to change their draft date providing their original draft date has not been filled. The new draft date chosen must be later than the original draft date. Example: if the original draft date is August 10, the new requested draft date must be August 11 or later.

Drafts dates will become official and will not be changed once 12 teams have been registered and drafts slots have been drawn. Please email support@MyFFPC.com for more information or to change your draft date.

Refund Policy

Refunds of entry fees may be requested until all 12 teams have registered for an FPC draft date. No refunds will be granted after a draft date is filled and draft slots have been announced. No refunds will be granted to owners who do not show up for their draft date. Refund requests will be granted at the sole discretion of FantasyPros Championship Commissioners and FFPC, LLC.

Protection of Prizes

FFPC Customer Deposits and Player winnings are held in a separate, segregated bank account held by ForPlayers-ByPlayers, LLC, the special purpose entity for FFPC, LLC. This Special Purpose Entity was created in compliance with various states’ fantasy sports legislation to ensure protection of consumer funds. The segregated account is established and held in trust for the benefit and protection of authorized FFPC players. Withdrawals will be made from this segregated account, and checks issued may bear the name ForPlayers-ByPlayers, LLC. ForPlayers-ByPlayers, LLC funds do not belong to FFPC, LLC, nor are the funds available to creditors, except for players whose funds are held in such account. FFPC, LLC and ForPlayers-ByPlayers, LLC are forbidden to commingle funds and will function as two separate legal entities.

Draft Order/Slots Announcement/League Assignments

As soon as 12 teams are reserved for any individual FPC draft date, draft slots for that league will be randomly selected and made available to the 12 participants on their league page. FPC does not permit trading of draft positions.

League Structure, Rules and Prizes

The FantasyPros Championship is made up of 12-team leagues and a maximum of 20,004 teams. Starting in 2014, in order to be in full compliance with the federal law known as the UIGEA which governs fantasy sports, we have been placing a “hard cap” on total number of entries in the FantasyPros Championship. When the FPC announces a guaranteed prize structure, we must stick to that number. Changing prize structure, even upward, is a questionable practice according to the UIGEA. Since it is never possible to truly project participation, our hard cap numbers will be higher than what we actually project for final entries. The hard cap for the 2024 contest will be 20,004. If the contest finishes under the cap number, participants still get the benefit of the larger guaranteed prize pool. If the contests reaches the cap, registrations close immediately. The announced prize structure is guaranteed regardless of final amount of entries.

FantasyPros Championship will be comprised of individual leagues, with 12 teams/participants/managers in each league. There are three distinct parts of the FPC season:

  • Part 1 – Regular season Weeks 1-12
  • Part 2 – League Playoffs Weeks 13 & 14
  • Part 3 – Championship Round and Consolation Round Weeks 15-17

FPC individual league structure will be as follows. The regular season will run from NFL Week 1 through NFL Week 12 and results will be based on head-to-head matchups as well as total points scored. The two top seeded teams at the end of the regular season in each league will each be awarded an automatic berth to the Championship Round in NFL Weeks 15 through 17 and a chance at the $1,000,000 Grand Prize. The four top seeded teams at the end of the regular season will play in a head-to-head League Playoffs in NFL Weeks 13 & 14 to determine the League Champion. League Champion will also earn an automatic berth to the Championship Round, if he has not already done so. There will typically be a minimum of two and a maximum of three teams advancing to the Championship Round from each league.

The FantasyPros Championship Tournament now has 12 regular season weeks. Each team will still play every team in the league one time during the regular season. Week 6 will now be an all play week. This means that week 6 will not have individual H2H matchups, rather it will be a full league total points battle. The top six scorers will get a Win and the bottom six scorers will get a Loss. Any team(s) which are tied for sixth most points scored in week 6, will each be awarded a Win.

All FPC drafts will be held online, on various dates during the months of June thru September. Drafts will be held using the the MyFFPC.com live draft room software. After registering, owners will be allowed to enter their respective league & draft room. Team owners may access their teams by using the “Login/Register” button at www.MyFFPC.com.

All drafts will last for 20 rounds, with each team selecting one player per round. Drafts will be held in a serpentine format: Team 1 through Team 12 in Round 1, Team 12 through Team 1 in Round 2, Team 1 through Team 12 in Round 3, etc. Teams may select any player that is not already drafted by another team. There are no limits as to the number of players drafted at each position. Each team participant/manager will have one minute (60 seconds) to make a player selection in each round. If the team manager does not make a selection within the allotted 60 second time frame and does not alert the commissioner to internet or computer problems, this team may be assigned a player according to the auto-pick computer or by the FPC live draft Commissioner. The draft software may then place this team’s draft on an auto-pick for the remainder of the draft.

FFPC draft facilitators (aka FFPC Commissioners) oversee most online drafts and have the ability to stop, rewind a draft and change draft picks. Draft facilitators have discretion to rule on any discrepancy involving player selection. This may happen on occasion, as a result of various circumstance which may come up during the draft. All rulings by the FFPC facilitators are final.

Slow drafts are also available with 2 or 6 hour timers per pick. 1 Hour slow drafts may become available as the season approaches, once 2- and 6-hour slow drafts close.

Drafts will run up until the start of the NFL Season. Drafts MUST be completed before the start of the NFL Season and draft clocks may be shortened as needed and/or remaining picks may be autodrafted if needed.

Each owner is required to draft a starting lineup of 1-QB, 2-RB, 2-WR, 1-TE, 2-FLEX, 1-K, 1-D/ST. If you do not draft a complete starting roster, FFPC commissioners may add a player at their discretion after the draft to ensure a valid roster.

Trading between teams of any kind, including but not limited to, draft picks or players is strictly prohibited.

Team managers may access their teams at www.MyFFPC.com

FantasyPros Championship Scoring, Lineup Submission and Position Designation

The starting lineups will consist of: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex Players (RB, WR or TE), 1 PK. 1 Team Defense/Special Team. Starting lineups may be submitted on the MyFFPC.com league management page. The deadline for lineup submission for each player via web site or email is the scheduled start time of the game in which the player is participating. Lineup changes which are submitted by email to support@myffpc.com must be sent and have a time stamp prior to the start time of the game in question. Lineup changes which are made by phone to our 1-888-898-FFPC 24-hour message center must be called in no later than 15 minutes prior to kickoff. The following must be provided for a valid email or phone transaction: League number & team name, login name and password, name of player(s) to be placed in the starting lineup, name of player(s) to be removed from the starting lineup.

Player position eligibility and designation is determined by FPC Commissioners during the pre-season and may be changed any time before the start of the NFL season. FPC participants agree to accept these designations and understand the final position designations may be different from the time their FPC drafts were conducted.

The following is the scoring system used for every player in FPC. Scoring will be calculated to the hundredth of a point. Negative yardage will be counted as a negative score:

Passing

  • 0.05 point – 1 yard passing (multiply total passing yards by 0.05. Example: 275 passing yards = 13.75 fantasy points)
  • 4 points – Passing TD
  • -1 point – Interception thrown
  • -1 point - Fumble Lost
  • 2 points – 2-point conversion

Rushing

  • 0.1 point – 1 yard rushing (multiply total rushing yards by 0.1. Example 126 rushing yards= 12.6 fantasy points)
  • 6 points – Rushing TD
  • -1 point - Fumble Lost
  • 2 points – 2-point conversion

Receiving

  • 0.1 point – 1 yard receiving (multiply total receiving yards by 0.1. Example 126 receiving yards= 12.6 fantasy points)
  • 6 points – Receiving TD
  • 1 point – Reception for RB, WR, QB, K
  • 1.5 points – Reception for TEs
  • -1 point - Fumble Lost
  • 2 points – 2-point conversion

Place Kicking

  • 1 point – Made PAT
  • 3 points – Made FG of 1 – 30 yards plus 0.1 point for every yard thereafter.
Example: a 45-yard FG would be worth 4.5 points

Team Defense/Special Teams

  • 1 point – Every sack
  • 2 points - Every blocked punt or field goal
  • 2 points – Every team takeaway (interception or fumble recovery)***
  • 6 points – Every TD (via interception return, fumble return, punt or kickoff return, blocked FG return, missed FG return, blocked punt return)***
  • 2 points for every return after a blocked/failed extra point or failed two-point try (i.e. on an interception or fumble). [As per new NFL rules for 2015 season]
  • 5 points – Every safety
  • 12 points – Every shutout **
  • 8 points – Allowing between 1- 6 points **
    5 points – Allowing between 7 – 13 points **
    3 points – Allowing between 14 - 19 points **
    1 points – Allowing between 20 – 23 points **
    0 points – Allowing between 24 – 29 points **
    -2 points – Allowing 30 or more points **

**Points scored by the opposing team’s defense will NOT count towards defensive points allowed. Only points scored when the defense or special teams is on the field will count towards their defensive points allowed. Extra points or two-point conversions will also NOT count towards defensive points allowed if they are a result of a score by the opposing team's defense.

Touchdowns

FPC implements Action Scoring for all touchdowns. A TD scored in any way by an individual player is awarded to that player whether he is on offense, defense or special teams, whether that TD came as a result of a fumble, interception, double turnover***, lateral, special teams or any other football play. To reiterate: If a player scores a TD during a game and he is in your starting roster, you are awarded 6 points. (The exception is when a quarterback throws a passing touchdown. Those are awarded as 4 points.) Please note that this scoring is separate and unrelated from any points which Team Defense/Special Teams may also receive for this TD.

No rushing or receiving yards will be awarded for a TD scored on a fumble, interception, kickoff or punt return.

Touchdowns scored by the offensive team as a result of fake FG, fake punt, blocked FG or blocked punt do not count as Defensive/Special Teams scoring.

*** A double-turnover is when the Offense turns the ball over to the opposing Defense, which subsequently turns the ball over back to the Offense. In this case, neither the Offense’s ball recovery nor any subsequent TD scoring on that particular play are scored as Defensive/Special Team scoring for that team. Defensive team fantasy points for touchdowns, fumble recoveries and interceptions are ONLY scored when the defensive unit is on the field.

*** A fumble by an offensive player through the opposing end zone resulting in a touch-back is not considered a team takeaway and will not award 2 fantasy points for the Team Defense/Special Teams.

FantasyPros Championship Free Agency and Blind Bidding

The following free agent blind bidding process is the only means by which free agents may be acquired in the FFPC. There are no other ways to acquire free agents like ‘worst-to-first’ and ‘first-come-first-served’ or any other waiver methods other than blind bidding as described below.

Any active NFL player which is not on a roster in the individual league is considered a free agent for that league and may be available for pick-up. Players dropped by a team are placed into the free agent player pool and will be available for pick-up (see below for exclusions).

The free agent acquisition process is made by way of "blind bidding". Each team will be given $1000 blind bidding "dollars" (not real money, just bidding dollars) to be used for the entire season. IMPORTANT: once these bidding dollars are used up, you will no longer have the ability to pick up free agents. Bids will remain hidden from the rest of the league until after all the winning bids have been awarded. Free agent players will be awarded to the team with the highest bid for that free agent, and the winning bid amount will be deducted from that team's free agent dollars. Besides the winning bid, all other bids for that free agent are considered losing bids and are cancelled. At this point, the highest remaining bid by any team for any remaining free agent will be considered. The team with this winning bid will be awarded the free agent and all losing bids for that free agent will be cancelled. This process will continue until every remaining bid has been considered.

There will be two “pre-season” free agency processes. The first is scheduled for Wednesday, September 4 at 10 PM ET for any FPC draft which draft concludes prior to this Wednesday. The second is scheduled on that Sunday, September 8 at 10 AM ET for any FPC draft which draft concludes prior to this Sunday.

There are two (2) weekly blind bidding processes during the season. The first “Primary” blind bidding process will take place on Wednesday with the second “Supplementary” process taking place on Sunday.

The deadline for bid submission for Wednesday is 10 PM ET and Sunday is 10 AM ET.

All free agent NFL players will be available for the Wednesday bidding process.

NFL players which are dropped during Wednesday’s bidding process will NOT be available for pickups on Sunday (of the same week) and will ONLY become available for next week’s Wednesday bidding process.

Free agent NFL players whose teams played on Thursday will NOT be available for pickups on Sunday (following Thursday’s game) and will ONLY become available for next week’s Wednesday bidding process.

NFL players owned and rostered by FFPC teams whose teams played on Thursday may be dropped on Sunday as long as they were not in the starting lineup for that FFPC team on Thursday.

The in-season blind bidding process will be available beginning Week 1 and end Sunday of Week 12 for all teams NOT advancing to the League Playoffs. Teams which ARE advancing to the League Playoffs will have the blind bidding process available to them in Weeks 13 and 14 and will end Sunday of Week 14. Only the 4 teams which make the League Playoffs in each FFPC league will be allowed to continue making bids in Week 13 and Week 14. There will be no free agent pickups after the completion of the FFPC regular season for teams which did not make the League Playoffs. There will be no free agent pickups for ANY team in the FFPC in Weeks 15, 16 and 17.

Bids will be allowed to be entered from Sunday at 12:00 PM ET until Wednesday 10:00 PM ET for Wednesday’s bidding process. Bid will be allowed to be entered from Wednesday at 11:00 PM ET until Sunday 10:00 AM ET for Sunday’s bidding process.

All bids will be processed and the rosters updated with the results of all successful bids after 10:00 PM ET on Wednesday & 10:00 AM ET on Sunday, following the completion of the blind bidding process.

All team managers are strongly encouraged to place their bids as early in the week as possible.

QBs, RBs, WRs and TEs which are cut beginning Week 11 free agent bidding processes will be REMOVED from the free agent pool and may not be re-acquired by any team for the remainder of the season. This is done to minimize the possibility of potential collusion.

Kickers and Team Defenses cut beginning Week 11 free agent bidding processes WILL REMAIN in the free agent pool and will be available to be re-acquired by teams as long as the free agency bidding processes remain open.

Any player within the top 48 of FFPC ADP will be locked in the free agent pool for the remainder of the season if cut by a team owner. This is done to protect the integrity of the league and contest.

FPC Commissioners and FFPC, LLC. reserve the right to remove a dropped player from the free agent pool or reinstate that player back to its original team, if FPC Commissioners and FFPC, LLC. determine that doing so is the interest of upholding the integrity of the contest, or that the dropped player would unfairly impact the outcome of the FPC, or to correct an error. In this rare instance, all participants will be notified and an explanation will be given.

In the event that there is a tie between bids, the team which is awarded the player will be determined in order by:

  1. Worst total points.
  2. Worst won/lost record**.
  3. Worst previous week score.
  4. Loser of head-to-head match-up, if applicable.
  5. Virtual coin toss.

**Won/lost record is based on the standings at the time of blind bidding process, which may change from Wednesday’s to Sunday's bidding processes based on stat changes issued by Elias and NFL.

Bids shall be placed individually, or in groups, with conditional bids following the primary bid. The top bid is the primary bid in a bidding group. The bids underneath are conditional bids. If you lose the primary bid, the first conditional bid directly below will be considered next. If you lose the primary and the first conditional bid, then the second conditional bid will be considered, etc. The rest of your bidding groups will be processed in the same manner. A maximum of one player can be won in each bidding group. Bids within a group may have different designated drop players. It’s important to remember when placing multiple free agent bids that you cannot win two players if they both have the same drop player. You may not place different bid amount on the same player. In this case, only the highest dollar bid will be considered.

Dollar amounts will determine the preference of bids. Example: conditional bid #3 cannot be a higher dollar amount than the primary bid or #2 bid.

Teams may submit as many bids as they like. There are no limitations as to the number of players that may be acquired by any one team during the course of the weekly blind bidding processes or during the course of the year, provided teams remain within the maximum number of 20 players allowed on each roster.

When placing a bid, please use separate dollar amounts or the primary and contingency bid software to ensure differentiation between the bidding groups.

Teams will no longer have the ability to acquire or bid on free agents once their initial 1,000 free agent “dollars” have been spent. All bids must be in increments of dollars, with no cents. The minimum bid amount is $1.

Bids may only be accepted on each individual FPC league pages. No bids will be accepted by telephone, email, message boards or any via any other form. In the event that the league pages are not able to accept bids, team managers are instructed to go to MyFFPC.com or call the customer service number at 1-888-898-3372 or email support@MyFFPC.com for further instructions.

FantasyPros Championship League and Playoff Structure

There are three distinct parts of the FPC season. Teams have an opportunity to win prizes for succeeding in each of the three:

  • Part 1 – Regular season Weeks 1-12
  • Part 2 – League Playoffs Weeks 13 & 14
  • Part 3 – Championship Round and Consolation Round Weeks 15, 16 & 17

The 12-week regular season will run from NFL Week 1 through NFL Week 12. Over the course of the regular season, each of the 12 teams in each FPC league will play each other in a head-to-head match up, resulting in a Win, Loss or Tie. This will constitute the Win/Loss record for each team. All references to “points”, “total points” or “points total” implies starting lineup points. All references to “record” refer to a team’s regular season’s head to head record. A Tie is considered half of a Win in the standings.

At the conclusion of Week 12, two teams from each league will be awarded an automatic berth to the Championship Round and a chance at the $1,000,000 Grand Prize in Weeks 15, 16 and 17.

These two teams will be:

  • Seed 1 – the team with the best regular season record
  • Seed 2 – the remaining team with the highest point total during the regular season.

These two teams will also participate in the head-to-head League Playoff explained below.

At the conclusion of Week 12, four teams in each league will advance to a two-week head-to-head League Playoff in Weeks 13 & 14 and will play for league prizes and one berth to the Championship Round.

These four teams will be:

  • Seed 1 – the team with the best regular season record
  • Seed 2 – the remaining team with the highest point total during the regular season
  • Seed 3 – the remaining team with the best regular season record
  • Seed 4 – the remaining team with the highest point total during the regular season

These teams will be assigned as Seed 1, Seed 2, Seed 3 and Seed 4.

If there is a tie between two or more teams for best win/loss record or total regular season points at the conclusion of the regular season, the following tiebreakers will be used in order from 1 to 4 to determine playoff participants:

  1. Total points during the regular season
  2. Head-to-head win/loss record
  3. Total starting QB points Week 1 through Week 12
  4. Coin toss

The following head-to-head match-ups will take place in Week 13 of the League Playoff:

  • Seed 1 will play Seed 4
  • Seed 2 will play Seed 3

The winners of the Seed 1 vs. Seed 4 game will play the winner of the Seed 2 vs. Seed 3 games in Week 14 League Championship Game of the League Playoffs with the winner earning the title of League Champion*. The League Champion and 2nd place finisher win League Prizes as listed in the Prize section.

The losing teams in Week 13 match-ups are eliminated from the League Playoffs but are still eligible to play in either the Championship or the Consolation Round.

If there is a tie between teams in any of the League Playoff games, the following tiebreakers will be used in order from 1 to 5 to determine winners*:

  1. Total points during the regular season
  2. Head-to-head in the regular season
  3. Regular season win/loss record (weeks 1-12)
  4. Starting QB points in League Playoff game)
  5. Coin toss

Individual League Prizes are guaranteed for full leagues only and are not part of the overall guaranteed prize structure if the contest does not fill to capacity.

*In the event of a tie between teams in the Week 14 League Championship Game, both teams will earn a berth into the Championship Round.

The League Champion will earn a berth to the Championship Round and a chance at $1,000,000 Grand Prize and other prize(s) listed in the Prize section. If the League Champion is one of the two teams which already earned an automatic berth to the Championship Round at the end of the regular season (Seeds 1 or 2), no other teams will go to the Championship Round from that particular league. Each league will have a minimum of two and a maximum of three teams qualifying for the Championship Round.

Any of the four teams in the League Playoff round which do NOT make it to the Championship Round will earn berths to the Consolation Round and will compete for prize(s) listed in the Prize section. Each FPC league will typically have a minimum of one and a maximum of two teams qualifying for the Consolation Round.

FantasyPros Championship Round

All aforementioned qualifying playoff teams will play in the Championship Round which will run during NFL Weeks 15, 16 and 17. Any team which finished in the top 2% of the Overall Leaderboard at the conclusion of Week 12 will automatically qualify for the Championship Round regardless of how this team performs in the League Playoffs (i.e. based on 20,004 teams, top 400 teams are considered as the top 2%).

The Championship Round format is based on the sum of total points scored for each week – there are NO H2H MATCHUPS!

Each playoff team will start the Championship Round with their per game season average from the regular season (weeks 1-12) and will be seeded according to these points in the Championship Round Leaderboard. Points scored during Weeks 13 & 14 are not counted toward this one-game average. Championship Round winners will be determined based on each team’s combined total points scored during Weeks 15, 16 & 17 and added to their per game season average from the regular season. The team with the most points will be crowned the FPC Overall Champion. The teams with the next highest points will win prizes as listed in the Prize section.

FantasyPros Championship Consolation Round

All teams that participated in the League Playoffs but did not qualify for the Championship Round will compete in the Consolation Round which will run during NFL Weeks 15, 16 and 17. In addition, any team which did not qualify for the League Playoffs but finished in the top 20% of the FPC Overall Leaderboard after Week 12 will also qualify for the Consolation Round (i.e. based on 20,004 teams, the top 4,000 teams are considered as the top 20%). Each team will start the Consolation Round with their per game season average from the regular season (weeks 1-12) and will be seeded according to these points. Points scored during Weeks 13 & 14 are not counted toward this one-game average. Consolation Round winner(s) will be determined based on each team’s total points scored during Weeks 15, 16 & 17 and added to their per game season average from the regular season. The team with the most points will be the Consolation Round winner and will win prize(s) as listed in the Prize section. The team(s) with the next highest points will win prizes as listed in the Prize section.

FantasyPros Championship ‘Toilet’ Bowl

Any team which did not qualify for either the Championship Round or the Consolation Round will compete in the Toilet Bowl. The Toilet Bowl will run during NFL Weeks 13 through Weeks 17. Each team will start the Toilet Bowl with a zero score. Toilet Bowl winner(s) will be determined based on each team’s total points scored during Weeks 13 through Weeks 17. The team with the most points will be the Toilet Bowl winner and will win prize(s) as listed in the Prize section.

Tie Breakers

If there is a tie between multiple teams for prizes in either the Championship Round, Consolation Round or the Toilet Bowl at the conclusion of Week 17, the prize money will be combined and evenly divided between the tied teams. So as an example, if two teams tie for 1st and 2nd with the prize awards being $1,000,000 and $200,000, they will receive $600,000 each. If there are 3 teams tied for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, then the top 3 prizes will be divided equally among the 3 teams, etc. Furthermore, if there is a tie between multiple teams spanning different prize values, cash value will always be used when awarding prizes. For example, if two teams tie for 50th place, the teams will split the cash value of the prizes for 50th and 51st place. The owners will not be able to select a prize option of league credits, they will automatically be awarded the cash prize.

FantasyPros Championship Prize Distribution

Winners will be notified by email or regular mail within 10 business days after the final league and overall results are posted on the FPC web site. All award money will be paid in U.S. dollars and will be mailed out no later than January 30, 2025 to all participants that have provided their tax reporting information. All taxes associated with the receipt of any award are the sole responsibility of the winner. FFPC, LLC. will pay 100% of all FPC awards directly to each winning principal participant unless a prize split is requested by the principal participant, as described directly below. All prize winners may be required to return via email or regular mail an affidavit of residence & eligibility, valid proof of identity and a liability/publicity release (unless prohibited by law) within 14 days following prize notification. FFPC, LLC. is not responsible for, or bound by, any agreement between the principal participant and any co-managers or group. FFPC, LLC. reserves the right to substitute any non-cash award by cash or by an award of equal or greater value.

Prize splitting as are stated in these rules to receive awards. The principal participant will always remain the sole legal prize winner and MUST authorize payment to his co-manager in writing. The principal participant will fill out and sign the authorization form indicating the name & address of his co-manager and the amount he should receive. Both the principal participant and the co-manager will each fill out a W-9. Once these documents are received and approved by FFPC, LLC. prize monies will be released to both parties. At year’s end, both the principal participant and the co-manager will each receive IRS Form-1099 for their prize awards. The IRS Form-1099 will be issues for the fiscal year in which awards were won.

Limitations To Prize Splitting

Prize splitting is limited to TWO persons only; the principal participant and the co-manager. Under no circumstance will FFPC, LLC. issue payment to anyone other than these two persons. Only total prize awards of $2,000 or greater will be eligible for prize splitting. This may be a combination of any CASH prizes won in the FPC tournament, including league and overall prizes. Prizes won in the FPC may not be combined with any prizes won in the Fantasy Football Players Championship (FFPC) leagues and tournaments. Non-cash prizes are not eligible for prize splitting. Each share of prize split awards must be a minimum of $600. FFPC, LLC. may, at its own discretion, refuse to accept any prize splitting request and process the entire award to the principal participant. Please email support@MyFFPC.com with any further questions regarding the prize splitting process.

If your gross prize winnings exceed $600, FFPC, LLC. must file a Form 1099 with the IRS at the end of this calendar year. This Form contains the amount paid to the award winners. Award winners will receive a copy of the Form for tax purposes and are responsible for paying any taxes that result from your cash prize. FFPC, LLC. will request the social security number (this will be kept strictly private unless required to be disclosed as a matter of law) of the primary participant to file the prize winnings with the IRS. The primary participant will fill out and sign an IRS Form W-9. Once this document is received and approved by the FFPC, LLC. prize monies will be released to the prize winner. At year’s end, the primary participant will receive IRS Form-1099 for his/her prize awards. The IRS Form-1099 will be issues for the fiscal year in which awards were won. If Form W-9 is not filled out and returned to us in a timely manner, prizes may not be issued by our listed payout date of January 30, 2025. Please consult your income tax adviser for filing advice.

FantasyPros Championship Draft/Event Information

The FPC draft schedule is available for viewing here. The draft is conducted in the ‘live draft’ room found on the league pages. It is strongly recommended that each participant check in a few days before the draft and familiarize themselves with the draft software. The draft will be conducted in a serpentine method starting the first round with Team 1, proceeding through Team 12; the second round will start with Team 12 and will proceed through Team 1; the third round will begin with Team 1 and end with Team 12, etc. until all 20 rounds have been completed. This will result in a 20 player roster. Most drafts last approximately 2.5 hours, however, participants should allow for 3 hours or more.

Each owner is required to draft a starting lineup of 1-QB, 2-RB, 2-WR, 1-TE, 2-FLEX, 1-K, 1-D/ST. If you do not draft a Kicker or Defense on your team, FFPC commissioners may add a kicker or defense at their discretion after the draft to ensure a valid roster.

Each team’s roster is limited to 20 players. IT IS THE PARTICIPANT’S RESPONSIBILITY TO VERIFY THAT HIS/HER TEAM ROSTER IS CORRECT BEFORE LEAVING THE DRAFT, AND AFTER IT IS UPLOADED TO THE LEAGUE MANAGEMENT PAGE. It is the participant’s responsibility to report any errors to FPC Commissioner or customer service within 24 hours of the roster being uploaded to the league management website.

Week 1 Lineups

The FPC suggests that each team set their Week 1 lineup as soon as lineup submission is available. However, teams will be allowed to modify their Week 1 lineup based on normal lineup submission.

All FPC teams must have a starting lineup for Week 1. If a lineup is not submitted for Week 1 games, FPC Commissioner will submit a lineup based strictly on draft order. FPC Commissioner may submit these missing lineups retroactively, after the start or the completion of Week 1 games.

Online Draft Commissioner

Each FPC live .online draft will have a live draft commissioner to watch over the draft and assist as needed. The commissioner will provide his or her contact phone number at the beginning of the draft. Each participant must write the phone number and keep it nearby in case of an emergency. If a participant has an issue or gets disconnected and is unable to log back in, please call the commissioner immediately. The draft commissioner will act in the fairest way possible to ensure that no one gets passed over due to computer issues. If a participant’s computer is down for an extended period of time and they do not call in to the commissioner, the commissioner will be forced to continue the draft by having a surrogate take over the draft for that team or place that team on auto-pick.

Online FPC Draft Attendance

Draft attendance is mandatory. Please contact the FPC should you expect to be late for the draft. No refunds will be granted to owners who do not show up for their draft date. Participants must login to their league and sign into the online draft no later than five minutes prior to the draft start time. In the event that the participant (or co-manager) does not sign into the online draft, a surrogate drafter may make selections for the team in question, or the team may be placed on auto-pick. If a participant signs into the online draft after the draft has started, he will be able to select his next player; however, if any previous surrogate selections have been made, they would still apply. Check your connections in advance of the draft. If you cannot gain access to the draft, you will need to arrange another method to access the draft. The FPC is not responsible for connection issues and will not issue a refund.

FFC draft times may vary. All event times and schedules will be posted on the FPC website. FPC and FFPC, LLC. are not responsible for any loss or liability incurred by any participants or co-managers due to rescheduling of any or all events. At its sole discretion, FFPC, LLC. reserves the right to terminate any FPC leagues at any time prior to its completion due to any acts of God, natural disasters, terrorism, change in applicable law, interruption in the NFL season (including strikes, lockouts and/or use of replacement players), or failure or ceasing of operations by our fantasy league management platform. In the event that FFPC, LLC. terminates the FPC, all entry fees would be returned to the entrants.

The FPC season begins on Thursday, September 5, 2024 and ends on Monday, December 30, 2024, which is the first 17 weeks of the NFL regular season. If the NFL changes its season for any reason, the FPC reserves the right to amend its league structure accordingly. Any regular season NFL games that take place prior to the FPC drafts WILL count towards Week 1 point scoring in the FPC regular season. If the NFL plays any games with replacement players during a formal league strike or lockout, statistics from those games shall not count for the purposes of this competition.

FPC uses its league management service to handle scheduling, blind bidding, transactions, win-loss records, etc. FPC uses game statistics provided by SportRadar data feed which will be our basis for scoring. Elias Sports Bureau will often have minor scoring changes during the season. FPC will automatically have the league management software make stat changes as they occur. FPC and FFPC, LLC. will act as the commissioner of the overall event and will have final say over all decisions related and regarding the FPC. Entrants warrant that they are familiar with the workings of Elias Sports Bureau and SportRadar, and agree not to hold FFPC, LLC. liable for any errors caused by, or potential failures of Elias Sports Bureau or SportRadar.

In the event of a server failure or other technical issues, the last lineup that was submitted will be the official lineup for the week. FPC RECOMMENDS THAT PARTICIPANTS MAKE ALL LINEUP CHANGES AS SOON AS LINEUP SUBMISSION IS AVAILABLE EACH WEEK. In cases of extreme emergency, line up changes may be submitted to support@MyFFPC.com with the words LINEUP CHANGE in the subject line, or called into 1-888-898-3372, as long as these changes are received prior to the weekly deadline for making such changes. The following must be provided for a valid email or phone transaction: Owners name, League number & team name, login name and password, name of player(s) to be placed in the starting lineup, name of player(s) to be removed from the starting lineup.

If you feel there is a scoring error, please email support@MyFFPC.com the words STAT APPEAL in the subject line. Kindly detail the issue and we will look into it. We are using Elias Sports Bureau to automatically correct any statistical errors, so an appeal is not needed for an error which would be corrected by Elias. Typically, stat changes are received by Elias and SportsRadar on the Thursday following that particular week. Once the stat changes are received, the FFPC will update the standings and results of all FFPC leagues accordingly. All scoring for the prior week will go FINAL by 6 PM Eastern on the Friday following that particular week, and at that time all contestants waive their right to any further appeals. It will be the sole discretion of the FPC Commissioner to make any changes not noted by Elias Sports Bureau.
