Prescott locked onto his top two targets all game as both Lamb and tight end Jake Ferguson caught seven passes each. After throwing for an impressive 379 yards last weekend, Prescott was more of a game manager on Thursday night and did not have to push the ball downfield too often. Fantasy managers should feel confident starting Prescott as a QB1 going forward, even though he will face a tough Pittsburgh defense next weekend.

Prescott and the Cowboys have a quick turnaround, as they will take on the New York Giants on Thursday night.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) made his 2024-25 debut on Monday night versus the Commanders. The wideout missed the team's first two games because of a hamstring injury. Unfortunately, his presence didn't help, with the Bengals remaining without a win after three weeks. Higgins didn't look horrible on Monday night, catching three passes (six targets) for 39 yards. Understandably, fantasy managers were still hoping for more. But Higgins has a favorable matchup against the Panthers on the horizon in Week 4, so he warrants a spot in the starting lineup in any fantasy format.

Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor confirmed on Saturday that wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) is good to go to make his 2024 debut in Week 3 on Monday night against the Washington Commanders. Higgins injured his hamstring in practice in the lead-up to the season-opener against the New England Patriots and was forced to sit the first two weeks. The 25-year-old is now recovered, though, and it doesn't sound like he'll be limited at all in his return to the lineup. It's bad news for any fantasy managers that were planning to start wideout Andrei Iosivas as a flex or tight end Mike Gesicki as a TE sleeper. In terms of Higgins' fantasy value, it's fair to temper expectations in his first game while coming off an injury, but he should at least garner WR4/flex attention against a Commanders defense that has allowed the most half-PPR fantasy points to receivers through the first two weeks.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) plans to play against the Washington Commanders on Monday night. The wideout has battled a hamstring injury, keeping him off the field for the Bengals' previous two contests. Fortunately, he's feeling better. "I feel great," said Higgins after practicing in a limited capacity on Friday. "Obviously, unfortunate with the injury, sat out the first two weeks but finally ready to get my feet wet this season and ready to go." Under normal circumstances, Higgins is a starting fantasy receiver in any format. However, there's a chance he could see fewer snaps than usual. As a result, Andrei Iosivas, coming off a two-touchdown outing versus the Kansas City Chiefs, could remain involved. Still, Iosivas' fantasy outlook would have been more promising had Higgins been in line to miss Monday's contest. On the other hand, Higgins' anticipated return is good news for Joe Burrow all around.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson completed 10 of his 20 passes for 167 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions in the team's 21-16 win against the Chicago Bears. Richardson also carried the ball eight times for 24 yards on the ground. This is now the second week in a row Richardson has struggled to move the ball through the air, and he hasn't been able to supplement that with his rushing ability. Although he did see multiple rushing attempts in the red zone, he could not convert any of them into touchdowns. One of his two interceptions came in the end zone on a three-yard target to WR Ashton Dulin. Although fantasy managers were aware of Richardson's limitations as a passer, his turnovers and underwhelming rushing numbers these past two weeks have made him a more challenging start in fantasy. He now gears up for a Week 4 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, one of the best defensive units in the league through three weeks. Fantasy managers can consider Richardson a middle-of-the-pack option in Week 4, and they might want to look towards a potential streaming option with a more favorable matchup if they can find one.

As always, Richardson's rushing upside makes him an elite fantasy quarterback week in and week out, and this week isn't the exception. While Richardson doesn't provide as safe of a floor as some of the other top-tier QB options with his low passing volume, he still makes for a strong start in all formats in Week 3.

Richardson was able to find WR Alec Pierce in the fourth quarter for a touchdown, which helped boost his fantasy production. Sunday's matchup was an unfortunate mix of low passing volume, limited rushing, and turnovers that kept Richardson from having a strong fantasy outing. He does face a tougher matchup in Week 3 when the Colts host the Chicago Bears, but fantasy managers can still look to him as an upper-echelon QB target and start him with confidence due to his rushing upside.

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell (chest) was ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The sophomore wideout suffered a chest injury in last week's game against the Minnesota Vikings and was not able to log a practice throughout the week. Dell will now set his sights on returning in Week 5 when the Texans face the Buffalo Bills. The 24-year-old has had a modest start to the season but did post a season-best 62 yards in last week's game but has yet to find the end zone. Fantasy managers should expect Nico Collins and Stefon Diggs to see the majority of targets this weekend, with Robert Woods and Xavier Hutchinson rotating as the No.3 option.

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell (chest) was not seen at the portion of Friday's practice that was open to the media. Dell also missed the first two practices of the week and is considered unlikely to play in Week 4 against the division-rival Jacksonville Jaguars. Dell also injured his hand/wrist at the end of the Week 3 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, but the good news is that none of his injuries are considered long-term. Check back later for Houston's final injury designations, but fantasy managers should be moving Dell to their benches for the week. Nico Collins (hamstring) also popped up on the injury report this week, but he appears to be fine to play. Both Collins and Stefon Diggs will have higher ceilings and floors this week if Dell is officially ruled out, as will struggling tight end Dalton Schultz. Dell has been the clear WR3 this year and has nine catches for 99 yards through three weeks.

Despite his day-to-day label, a report also surfaced on Wednesday that Dell was unlikely to play after getting banged up in the Week 3 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. The 24-year-old second-year pass-catcher is dealing with some sore ribs and also injured his hand/wrist last Sunday. It doesn't sound like his injuries are a long-term concern, but fantasy managers that were planning on starting him in Week 4 against the division-rival Jacksonville Jaguars may need to reconsider. Dell may need to practice on Friday to avoid being ruled out entirely. If Dell is limited or out in Week 4, it will mean more targets for both Stefon Diggs and Nico Collins, and possibly tight end Dalton Schultz, who has been a disappointment so far through three weeks.

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Xavier Legette should be more involved in the offense this week with Adam Thielen (hamstring) on IR. The rookie out of South Carolina has 10 targets on the season but is expected to slot into the No. 2 receiver role with Thielen sidelined. The talented receiver should be a nice secondary target for Dalton this week against the Bengals with Diontae Johnson (groin) serving as the top option. Johnson missed practice Thursday and is questionable but is expected to practice Friday. If he is out, Legette would have a much larger role in the offense. The Panthers offense suddenly looks viable for fantasy purposes with Dalton as the QB and Legette could benefit from that in Week 4.

Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Xavier Legette could see more opportunities with Adam Thielen (hamstring) placed on Injured Reserve, according to Alex Zietlow of the Charlotte Observer. The rookie out of South Carolina has six catches for 77 yards in three games this season. With Thielen out now, Legette could emerge as a secondary target for new quarterback Andy Dalton behind Diontae Johnson. Dalton was much more effective in leading the Panthers' offense in Week 3 and looks like an upgrade over Bryce Young. Legette could benefit from that and the increased snap share he is likely to see with Thielen sidelined. Legette is looking like a sneaky waiver-wire addition ahead of what could be a breakout Week 4 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Xavier Legette expressed frustration after not receiving any targets in the 26-3 loss in Week 2. He also went on to say he's not dwelling on it, however, and he's looking forward to getting some more deep ball opportunities with Andy Dalton under center. Despite being one of the best-protected quarterbacks of the week, Bryce Young struggled to find any of his receivers and finished with a total of 84 yards. While the Panthers have more issues than just their quarterback, Dalton is more likely to get the ball out quicker and more accurately than Young. Legette will have more of a fighting chance to secure some fantasy points with Dalton, but his fantasy relevance is very limited until there's a noticeable difference in this offense.

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert caught 10 of 11 targets for 170 yards during the team's 15-12 win over the New Orleans Saints. With A.J. Brown (hamstring) out for the second consecutive week, the 29-year-old was targeted early and often in this game. Even though he was unable to find the end zone, Goedert had the longest catch of his career, going 61 yards to inside the five-yard line to set up a Saquon Barkley touchdown. DeVonta Smith (concussion) also exited this game early, leaving Goedert the top target for Jalen Hurts this week and potentially next with both star wideouts are forced to sit. This will likely be the best fantasy performance of the season for the veteran tight end, but it solidifies him as a TE1 moving forward, especially if the Eagles receivers miss more time.

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert will go on the road to take on the New Orleans Saints in Week 3. The 29-year-old was not heavily involved last week but saw usage during the team's final drive and has the chance to see more targets in Week 3 with A.J. Brown (hamstring) likely out for another game. The good news; Goedert played 97% of the snaps last week and is at the top of the league compared to others at the position in snaps played. He should have a safe floor this week against a Saints defense that ranks middle of the pack against the tight end position through two weeks. Unless you have an obviously better option, you can continue to roll with Goedert in Week 3.

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert caught three of four targets for 38 yards during the team's 22-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. The veteran was expected to see a larger target share with star receiver A.J. Brown (hamstring) out this week, but depth receiver Britain Covey saw six targets, and backup Grant Calcaterra got involved with a couple of targets of his own. Atlanta's defense is no slouch, but this was an underwhelming fantasy performance for Goedert given the Brown injury. He will look to get more involved next week against a red-hot New Orleans Saints team.
