Leibovitz Cashes $250,000 Title


LeboLegend Beats Out Aberli by 8.57 For Grand Prize

The 2018 FFPC Main Event. came to an end this past weekend, and when the smoke cleared, Gary Leibovitz’s LeboLegend stood atop all other teams, as he had the only squad to top 700 points in the Championship Round. Led by Zach Ertz (41), Ben Roethlisberger (33.4), Elijah McGuire (23.5) and JuJu Smith-Schuster (22.5), Leibovitz tallied a 187.6 in Week 16 to take home first place and the custom helmet trophy. Here was Leibovitz’s winning lineup:

Jason Aberli’s Godfather ascended one spot to second place with Neil Hassett’s Wicked Game shooting up from seventh to third. Rob Vieyra came out of nowhere with a 228.45 to move all the way up to fourth with Robel Sebany also vaulting up to fifth with a 213.35 Week 16 score.

Thanks to a pair of 40-plus-point performances in his starting lineup, Matthew Lively was able to take down the 2018 Footballguys Players Championship, His massive 210.8 in Week 16 gave him the title over Martin Kaufman’s Wallace 350. Lively’s winning lineup is listed below:

Use Prizes Towards Playoff Challenge

It’s our last event of the 2018-19 season, so please remember to enter the 2018-19 World Famous FFPC Playoff Challenge! Also, don’t forget that you’ll be able to apply your regular season winnings in your account right now to the Playoff Challenge as well.

NEW THIS YEAR: We’ve added more than $150,000 to the prize pool and will pay out an additional 50 more places than we did last season!

The main details of the Challenge are listed below:

  • Entry fee: $200 per team
  • Contest capped at a maximum of 4,250 entries
  • $200,000 Grand Prize
  • More than $750,000 in guaranteed prizes paying down to 600th place
  • Contest runs from the start of the NFL playoffs thru the Super Bowl
  • Each team consists of 10 players in an FFPC starting roster format
  • Each team chooses from 12 playoff teams but only 1 per team
  • All rosters will be locked on Saturday, January 5th at 4:30 pm ET
  • No roster adjustments will be allowed even for games starting later
